- Peggy Z00Pitti Palace private tourOur guide was fabulous. She is a restorer of frescoes, in addition to being a qualified guide, and that knowledge certainly contributed to her discussion of the art that we were seeing. We learned so much for her and we highly recommend her.
- jmgGVA00Great tourWe very much enjoyed the Galleria degli Uffizi tour in Florence! The art collection is truly unique, and the expert guide provided insightful information. Being able to cut through the huge lines this August weekend was extremely convenient. Warmly recommended
- 538kelliev00FsntasticFantastic way to experience the Duomo. We saw queues that would have taken hours and skipped those with this tour. Finding the guide was fine although we thought it was a building we needed to look for. It was a sign held up at the meeting point. Claudio was so good, informative, friendly and we learnt all we would ever need by taking this tour. All four of us including 17 and 20 year old sons loved it.
- jshannymurphy00The duomo! Our guide really took the time to give us the whole history of both the outer and inner architecture. Excellent tour, highly recommend.
- Chuck R00Thank you, Claudio! Great tour!We checked in for the tour at the designated place and time. It was a fairly large group, but we each had earphones so that we couple hear the tour guide very clearly. Our guide Claudio was magnificent! His English was perfect, and he had so much information to share at each part of the tour that I marveled at his understanding of the history -- he made it "real." We walked through the Duomo square getting information on each building (the cathedral, the Dome, the bell tower, etc.). The facades and engravings on the exterior of each building were so intricate that it was difficult to take it all in! Then we went into the domed church (skipping the line!). What a spectacle! I could not believe that this was constructed in the 12th century! After a detailed explanation of various plaques, statutes, carvings, stained glass pictures, etc., the tour ended inside the church. Those who wanted to stay a little longer could do so. Definitely one of the best tours I have ever taken.
- Maria E00WORTH IYThe guide was extremely informative and did a great job keeping everybody together! She highlighted some amazing information that I would have not been able to get otherwise, if I had gone alone! Truly worth it
- wwm100600Loved Mauricio and his tour !Great walk around the area and chat with Mauricio re all the sights and history of the Duomo. We were last tour of The day so we climbed the dome then returned next day to do the museum dell opera ( well worth it) and climbed the bell tower. We could have also toured the cathedral and baptistery but did not have long pants ( too hot). Mauricio was great and we enjoyed the tour. The skip the line element of the duomo climb was worth the price.
- jefflF1008JG00Great Tour! Well worth the InvestmentThis skip-the-line tour is well worth it. The cathedral and the Duomo Museum are amazing to see. We wish we would have had more time to explore the museum more fully, but our schedule was too tight that day (our fault). The baptistery is being renovated inside, so, there's lots of scaffolding. That detracted from the experience, but, we, of course, understand things need maintenance and repair from time-to-time! Overall, we highly recommend this tour.
- DayTrip5045079992300Good value tour by Filippo.Guide gave a detailed overview of the history and art of the cathedral and environs. His English language skills were of high quality.
- 513shaliniv00Great tour guideOur guide Silvia was excellent- full of knowledge in the tour and with questions. She was kind, knowledgeable and made for a smooth tour, accommodating curve balls really well like long lines for the cathedral so doing the museum first, or pausing to allow cars or beggars to pass. Made for a great experience
- kendallc259900Great Pitti Palace Tour!Roberta was the best tour guide I've ever had! We had a fabulous experience with her. She was so knowledgable and knew the answers to all of our questions. She was so passionate about the art, artists, and Pitti Palace as a whole. Our group included my party of four and then another group of two, and it was so nice to have a small group to be able to pay attention and hear all that Roberta had to share. She had so many interesting tidbits and stories and did it all from memory. I learned so much and definitely got so much more out of it than without a tour guide. We would have been in and out in 30 minutes if we hadn't done the guided tour. It was so beyond worth it! I cannot recommend the tour with Roberta enough.
- Talbottraveler00Fascinating, educational with brilliant views. The cathedral, Baptistry and Bell Tower are all worth the visit from the outside alone. They are a sight to behold. We took the pre- booked climb to the cupola up the 400 plus steps which was very worth it! Firstly, it entitled you to leave any bags in a secure place. ( They did ask that you did not abuse this service by dumping your shopping with them for the whole day as clearly some must have done). Secondly, the queue to simply enter the cathedral was extensive, but as we were booked in there was no wait for us. Thirdly the views of the inside of the dome and then the views from the cupola are brilliant. The art work and views of the city... Once back down, to walk around the inside of the cathedral and later the Baptistry is an education. If you can visit then definitely do so.
- 902natef00Recommend!A great experience learning about the history of the Duomo and local culture. Our guide was courteous and punctual
- grantchristinep00A beautiful piece of historyThis was an exceptional experience. Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. Skip the line was great. Thanks Grant & Christine
- Julie H00Duomo guided tourExcellent guide. Very knowledgeable on all aspects of the history of Florence. A thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours learning and experiencing the treasures of the Duomo

Our experience with Florence Pass was truly amazing, great attention to detail and the timing was on point; the tour will start exactly at the time you scheduled it. Our tour guide, Roberta was really fantastic!! She has a way to tell the story in a way that one might remember details even a long time after having booked the tour. Would definitely recommend her for this tour!! Dana and Charlie

Having been to Florence once before and seen the Duomo, Ufizzi, and Academia, we wanted to try something different. So glad that we booked this tour, led by Camilla. The palace was really not that crowded and she was able to lead us through tour and provide highlights about pieces in each room. She was engaging with all members of the tour and really was passionate about the art she was discussing. It happened to start raining when we were ready to go see the gardens so we waited patiently with Camilla and were rewarded with a nice tour of the gardens a little later. The views of Florence are really nice from the top of the gardens. Would highly recommend this tour.

Roberta from "FlorencePass" was our very knowledgeable, sensitive and charming guide. Shared with us the history of Florence, the Medici family and the church. She gave in-depth commentary of the paintings we viewed. Pointed out the smallest yet interesting details in the palatial rooms of the Pitti Palace. Walked us through the Boboli Gardens showing and telling us of the remarkable history. Roberta was able to answer all of our questions. She lives Florence through her veins and soul. A most enjoyable 4 1/2 hour tour spent in her company.

I had a last minute problem with the date but Maurizio was super helpful in ensuring that I could experience the tour. Carmella was informed and knowledgeable about all things Medici and associated with the palace. She went a tad beyond the allocated time because we asked so many interesting questions. She was the consummate guide, providing toilet stops and little gems of special access. Can’t recommend the experience highly enough.

Our tour with Maurizio Tocchioni of Florence Pass was extraordinary. As an art historian, he has an immense depth of knowledge and his love of Florence was apparent. He spent an extra hour showing us through the museum and then more than an hour in the gardens. It was not at all crowded and we were told it doesn’t get crowded. This was a truly memorable tour. We highly recommend it.

This was our first excursion while visiting Florence and it was absolutely fantastic. Our tour guide Camilla was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, spoke great English, and as an art historian/restorer, she was clearly passionate about art and history. The Pitti Palace boasts a cool range of art and having Camilla explain the background and significance of these works truly enhanced our experience. This holds true for the Boboli Gardens as well, which was beautiful and had an interesting history. The only thing we will note is that some members of the group had very slight difficulty with the hike up and down the paths of the gardens. This being said, Camilla was extremely patient and did a great job making sure everyone was accounted for.

We did the guided tour of the Piti Palace, Palatina Gallery and Boboli Garden this past week and were absolutely amazed. Our guide was Roberta from Florencepass.com. The entire experience was fantastic and Roberta made it extra special by adding her expertise to fill in information that we would never have obtained if we had tried to do this on our own. The palace, gallery and gardens are so spectacular but having the history behind it mad us appreciate it even more. We would highly recommend this if you are fortunate enough to travel to Florence and would highly recommend doing this with a local guide from Florencepass.com. Highly recommend Roberta as well.

Roberta was the best guide we’ve experienced in all of Italy. She is a high educated art historian and is very passionate about her work. She made our tour of Pitti Palace and Boboli Garden very rich. If we return to Florence, we will definitely request her for any other tour we do. This is obviously a high quality company to hire someone like her.

Roberta expertly guided us on a small tour of Pitti Palace, Palatina Gallery, and Boboli Gardens. She is a graduate from the University of Florence and was quite knowledgeable on all the historical items. Lovely. She spent well over three hours with us. She kindly answered our questions for side interests of ours on certain artists and all the plants. We highly recommend her services with Florence Pass.
