    Wonderful history and food!
The food was excellent and ample! E learned a lot about each item and its history in the Italian culture. It was a bit hard to hear sometimes but very much enjoyed Marilisa.

    Great tour great food
Very informative and well organized. Food samples were many and delicious. Guide Deniz was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Sometimes I could not understand what he said because he spoke to fast with his accent. Otherwise a great tour.

Eat and drink like a local!
Perfect for what we wanted! Anna, our guide, was welcoming, fun, and professional. She combined the description of the food with the history of Venice. We felt like we were seeing a glimpse into the local life, not just the tourist scene. Food was a good amount so did not need lunch after. Opportunity to buy drinks at several stops. I highly recommend!!

    Great experience
Our tour guide Aurora was joyful and interesting. We tasted lots of local foods that we wouldn’t think to taste in places we wouldn’t find. There was a good variety of foods and sweets. It is well worth the money, we were satiated and satisfied

You won’t regret this food tour
We’ve done quite a few food tours over the years and the tour with Marilisa was just perfect! We weren’t sure what to expect as this tour was so much more affordable than many of the other Florence food tours that we looked at it, but we were not disappointed. We tried locally made foods from traditional vendors and had a great time, learning about he food and Florence history at the same time. We had cantucci (almond biscotti), coccoli (salty, delicious fried dough balls with cheese and ham), olive oil, balsamic vinegar, truffle oils, freshly made pasta (4 types), cold meats and cheeses and gelato (and I’ve probably left something out!). Marilisa took care to ensure we could all hear her explanations, she made sure we had shade (it was a very hot day), she told interesting stories and we loved it! Grazie Marilisa

    An amazing experience!!
My mum and I had a wonderful time walking around Florence with Caterina as our guide. She was so knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Caterina gave us so much information about the city, the people and the culture. The food we experienced was delicious. Local traditional dishes which we would not have known about. Caterina also went above and beyond to cater for my mum who is gluten free. 5 stars to Caterina and we hope everyone gets the opportunity to tour with you!!!!

    Tasting Florence
I was a solo traveller and was my first time in florence, this tour allowed me to wander the city with a group of fun and well-humored people while tasting some delicious food, I honestly wouldnt have tried some of the food on my own. Alice is a friendly and knowledgeable guide. I strongly suggest this tour.

Amazing tour with Lisa- delicious food and wine
If you love trying new foods and walking around a foreign city with the sweetest most brilliant tour guide this is the tour for you. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and wanted to try native dishes. Our guide Lisa was absolutely amazing! If you go to Florence you must request her. We walked around the entire city stopping in the best cafe's, Osteria's, gelato shops and so much more. We learned so much about the city as we walked from place to place with our full stomachs. If you are a foodie but also want to see the city this is the perfect tour for you.

    Great Experience!
Stefania was our guide. We toured the Central Market and she showed us a lot of the food that was sold and explained which region they were from and how they were typically prepared. We had a nice range of ravioli with different types of stuffing (they were delicious). We also tried truffles and aged balsamic vinegar, each in different forms. They were so delicious that we immediately bought a couple bottles at the stand! Afterwards, we toured the Duomo and other architectural aspects of Florence (we learned about how wine was delivered in the past). We then sat down and sampled some traditional Florentine food, which was also delicious. Finally, Stefania took us to Vivoli for gelato, which had the best gelato I had while in Italy. Everything was prepared for us when we arrived so there was no delays getting the food. Stefania was very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

    Great tour with Stefania
My wife and I toured the market with Stefania and we stopped at several booths and tried ravioli ( excellent) ! Truffles in many different forms and aged balsamic vinegar. We enjoyed each preparation and Stefania had everything lined up and ready for us. After the market we toured the Duomo and cathedrals in the piazza. Stefania was very knowledgeable about the history of the architecture and legends who helped build these magnificent structures. We then sat down and sampled Florentine street food including lampredotto ( cow’s 4th stomach) sounds crazy , but it’s good! And a few other delicacies. To close out the tour Stefania took us to Vivoli for gelato, the finest gelato in all of Italy , she sat with us and had a great experience. My wife and I had a great time

    Great walking food tour
We had a great 3 hour walking food tour with Stefania. This was our third trip to Florence, and we learned more about the city and the food with great thanks to our lovely and friendly guide. She was very knowledgeable and spoke great English. There were just two couples on the tour which made listening and interacting much better. We saw many other tour groups with 20 plus people. The San Lorenzo open food market was outstanding and we covered a fair amount of ground seeing sights and tasting local cuisine starting with pasta, ending with gelato and many delicacies in between (truffle, raviolis, figs, balsamic, tripe, panzanella, grappa, etc.) We also made stops at some of the key monuments such as duomo, San Lorenzo chapel, baptistery, Michelangelo monument, etc. I suspect we walked 2 - 3 Miles and would suggest wearing better shoes than I did given the uneven roads. This tour is not for those that want to cram in all the big highlights in one day such as Uffizzi, Duomo, Academia, etc, but it was perfect for us who has seen all that.

    Food, friendly people, sights!
This review was for Marta last year, she was excellent. We did all the food we could! Eating Salami, Cheese, pappa al pomodoro, peposo, pizza, gelato, espresso and wine was incredible. Would do again over and over.

We were the only ones on our food tour with Alice so the three of us spent a wonderful four-hour tour together. We have gone on food tours all over the world but this might have been our favorite. We went to six or seven stops and left so full that we didn't eat dinner that night. Our tour guide Alice has a degree in art history and a deep love of food plus a sweet and warm personality. We learned all about the origins of what we were eating and had some of the best food on our trip. We also walked by famous sites and Alice enlightened us about those places.

I was wary of booking this food tour because I couldn't book and give a credit card online. I had to make a payment using PayPal so I hoped everything was legit. So glad I did.I want to go back and do all the other tours this company offers!
