      Amazing experience
This tour was amazing! The pickup point was easy to find. The drive to the countryside was a great way to see so much of Tuscany, outside of Florence. I can't lie, the vespa "test" created a little bit of nerves, but as soon as we were out on the road, the ride was EASY....and absolutely beautiful. The lunch and wine tasting were both great, along with the tour of the residence. This is an absolute must do for anyone traveling to Florence/Tuscany. Alexa is the best!

      Experience review
I unfortunately had to wait to write this review as the host things he’s funny commenting back at people he remembers. I went here with two of my girl friends. We all agreed to be riders and when it came to the riding “test” I could not have described a more rude and stuck up American girl running the group. When my friends turn to test they already doubted them and offered them no help. She even fell off the bike and into the ground and the head of the company refused to help her even pick up the bike lol. I am a college student from Delaware and have never written a review ,but please save your money and go somewhere else. Thanks guys! Travel well

      Vespas and Wine
We decided to do the Vespa tour to see parts of the Tuscan countryside. Alexa was friendly, informative and more importantly made sure all were safe. The views on the ride were gorgeous. We loved learning the history of the winery, seeing the wine cellar and of course tasting the delicious wine. This is a must do!

This is the tour you should do
Deghan and crew gave us a great experience from the wine and lunch to the vespa tour. What a great way to see the countryside away from the busy city. This absolutely completed our trip to Florence.

Sunset Tuscany Cycle Vespa + Vineyard Tour
Our sunset Vespa and winery tour with Dejan was fabulous! Tuscany Cycle took great care with the Vespa trial and guided ride through the breathtaking countryside. We enjoyed the tour with Simone and tasting at Fattoria San Pancrazio. The sunset and views from Piazzale Michelangelo were a great ending to an incredible late afternoon Vespa tour. Thanks, Dejan!!

Vespa Tuscany Tour and Wine-Perfect Combination!
We had a fantastic time on this tour, the tour of the winery and culminating lunch. We appreciate the care Luke and Alexa took in ensuring all participants were able to safely handle the Vespa. The ride was beautiful and opportunities for photos were provided. This is a must do when in the Tuscany region!

Great way to see the countryside
Really great tour. If you're looking for a nice way to get out of the busy area of Florence and spend some time enjoying the countryside - along with a nice lunch and some wine, this is for you. We met in town, drove out to a villa/winery, got acquainted with the Vespas, and took off for a beautiful ride in the countryside. After returning, we enjoyed a lovely lunch and wine tasting before heading back to town. Everything was perfect, on time, and a lot of fun.

Family fun and very nice guides
Very nice owner and guides! Such a fun experience for the entire family. Having some experience on a motorized vehicle or motorcycle is a must for safety sake. The scenery is beautiful and an overall memorable experience.

      Great experience !
We had a great time! The tour guides spoke very good English and were funny. The Vespa tour had great views. My friend and I were each able to drive a Vespa. Some of the rest of the group did not pass the “driving test” so they weren’t able to drive their own Vespa, but could ride on the back with the tour guides!

Without a doubt this was our favourite experience in Tuscany. My husband and I thought it looked like fun,we couldn’t have known how much fun it would be. We met up with a group of people doing a couple of other activities ( wine tasting,Vespa tour) at Tuscany Cycle in Florence and were transferred by van to an exquisite vineyard outside the city. Alexa & ? I’m afraid I don’t recall the wine connoisseurs name. Both of these folks were friendly and kind hosts, not to mention extremely knowledgeable. The setting is right out of a movie. We saw the ancient wine cellar and the vineyard, then started our cooking class. That day it was just the 2 of us with Alexa. Reading other reviews here makes me laugh when people think because Alexa isn’t some older Italian grandma, that she doesn’t know what she’s doing. I’m here to tell you she’s a great teacher/cook. We made a meat ragu, Papparadelle pasta and tiramisu all from scratch. The wine was poured when we arrived in the kitchen and we were invited to enjoy as much as we liked. Alexa gave us lots of tips on what to look for when buying ingredients back home and answered all our questions. She was patient and kind and when we were finished preparing the food, we sat at a table overlooking the incredible scenery and enjoyed the fruit of our labour. It was perfect! After that I received the recipes from Alexa by email so we can reproduce the dishes at home. Thank you Alexa for the lovely memories, your a legend!

This truly was a highlight of our trip to Florence! We went to a beautiful family winery. We were given a tour of the wine cellar by Luca. He was so knowledgeable and did an excellent job in explaining and teaching about the wines. Then we went to the kitchen with Alexa. She did an amazing job. We made and rolled the pasta, made the sauce, and the tiramisu for dessert. Then we sat down and enjoyed the meal we made. We could not have had a better teacher than Alexa. This experience exceeded our expectations!

The vineyard and winery were beautiful. The woman (Alexa) who drove the van and led the cooking class was friendly, knowledgeable, and a great Italian cook. She made the experience really relaxed and fun. It was actually some of the best pasta we tasted in Italy. This is not an in depth wine tasting but more of a fun cooking experience with wine served with the lunch we all made. It is only a 35 minute drive from Florence to the amazing countryside. This is a great way to maximize 4-5 hours to cook, eat, drink wine, and see an authentic Tuscan villa and winery.

In theory this tour should be an unforgettable experience but it turned out to be unforgettable in the most negative way possible.

By far, this was the worst customer service I have ever come across and the owner and staff could not have been more rude and aggressive.

To start, the buses departed over an hour late, and when we asked how long it would take, the woman Alexa was unfriendly and didn’t seem to be bothered. When we eventually left, our driver had no experience driving stick shift and the break pads of the car were burnt out. Upon arriving an hour later, another woman in the group told the owner that she wanted to take the train back to Florence because the driving was bad which led him to shout at her in front of everyone. It was mortifying and she was left visibly shaken and he told her if she wanted to leave the tour he didn’t care, so her and her family left.

The pasta making was led by Alexa, a Native American, it wasn’t authentic at all. The hygiene levels were non-existent and everyone chipped in for different parts of the cooking, you didn’t even get to make your own dish. The food was basic, bland and flavorless, they didn’t even use salt to cook the pasta.

When someone asked for a meat and dairy free for an alternative for lunch, the owner said that they should have left the tour with the people at the beginning. He shouted that he didn’t care if people walked out, he had many of other clients to deal with and he was in the business for over 10 years - despicable way to speak to paying clients.

Overall, we left having not eaten all day and horrified with the way the staff treated us, it was simply terrible.

Save your money and don’t make the same mistake we did.

From start to finish this was the worst tour ever experienced and we are seasoned travellers. Check-in 9.30am - had to hang around and didn't leave until 10.15am. The American receptionist, Alexa (who also drove a bus and led the pasta making) was rude and defensive. Dangerous drive to Tuscany in a dirty van - our driver couldn't drive manual, I had to help him. On arrival one family told Dan, the Serbian owner how scared they were, he verbally abused them and threw them off the tour, leaving them to find their own way home. We should have left too. For 30 mins we listened to the winery owner, ok but not what we had booked. First glass of wine offered some 3 hours later. Pasta making was nothing like the promotional image. The kitchen and utensils were dirty, no attention to hygiene. Total health risk. Just one bowl which we took in turns to stir and kneed. Pasta making more like a primary school class, just dull (tagliatelle and a tomato sauce were the only options ). All this, led by Alexa - nothing Italian about this cooking experience. Bored, we went outside to view the beautiful setting. 4 hours later we sat down to eat the tasteless pasta. Incidentally, only one wine and one olive oil were available despite the tour information promising a variety of tastings. Whilst the other participants ate cheese and meat slices, there was nothing for us (I had notified in advance we were lactose intolerant). I politely told Dan, the owner. He became rude, aggressive and intimidating and told me to leave. He turned on my companion after she told him his behaviour was unprofessional and inappropriate. We went outside to wait for the bus. Dan and Alexa contained the tirade outside, shaming us in front of the rest of the guests becoming more angry and confrontational when I suggested I would be writing an honest review on Trip Advisor. Dan screamed he didn't care. Some 6 hours later we were returned to Florence, desperately upset and regretting the loss of an entire day. I reported the experience to my credit card company and the tour operator. Do not make the same horrible mistake. Do not book this tour.

Alexa! Your warm personality and knowledge of cooking is awe-inspiring. We booked this course for my mom - her biggest dream was to learn how to make pasta in Italy and today she ticked the list! Love your recipes and cannot wait for you to sell your aprons 🥰 Great tour loved every moment of it! And oh my goodness the wine 😱 Love love love all the way from Sunny South Africa 🇿🇦

    Wonderful day, delicious food!

We had such a wonderful time in the countryside with Alexa as our guide and chef.
Everything we made was delicious and after the class I feel like a really can recreate the recipes at home! The location was beautiful and rustic and felt like it was out of a movie! The cantina visit was an added bonus! I really cannot recommend this tour enough! Thank you Alexa

I traveled with my brother - we are both adults so I chose the”friends” category for type of visit.

Anyway it was so much fun! First a 35 minute ride to the countryside. Then a tour of the winery which has freaking Etruscan tombs under it?! Sorry for the spoiler there but it was amazing.

The Alexa, who not only created the class and picked out what to make, took us to a cute house that is literally attached to the winery to cook. You step into this classic Tuscan house and are greeted by frescos on the wall that are just want you didn’t know you wanted to see! Then into a kitchen that is out of Under A Tuscan Sun and your cooking experience begins. About a bottle of wine into this experience, the house table wine, Alexa pretty much ran the show lol. But the Florentine cake was delish! Making your own pasta was so much fun and damn the chicken at the end was mouthwatering. I highly recommend this excursion. Alexa was such a great guide I wand her as my BFF now. The tour ends with a delicious surprise which I won’t spoil. You won’t regret this tour!

We have 2 teens (19, 17) and we all enjoyed this tour. Approx 45 min drive through the countryside to a small winery. We enjoyed making pasta, chicken wrapped bacon and cake and had an interesting look around the winery itself, tasting the wines with our lunch. Alexa and chef Patricia were very friendly and made it a lot of fun. Thank you!!

My husband, daughter and I loved this pasta class!! From the minute we met Alexa we knew it would be great. The ride to and from was very scenic. She was fun and informative. The house that it was held in was something out of a story book. Incredibly gorgeous! We loved meeting Francesco. He gave us a very informative wine session. Then we made a delicious meal. Alexa taught us to make the most delicious pasta meal while we enjoyed fantastic wine. I highly recommend this tour. It was a highlight of our vacation!
