Highlight of our vacation!
Jan 2020 • Family
My husband, daughter and I loved this pasta class!! From the minute we met Alexa we knew it would be great. The ride to and from was very scenic. She was fun and informative. The house that it was held in was something out of a story book. Incredibly gorgeous! We loved meeting Francesco. He gave us a very informative wine session. Then we made a delicious meal. Alexa taught us to make the most delicious pasta meal while we enjoyed fantastic wine. I highly recommend this tour. It was a highlight of our vacation!

DO THIS COOKING CLASS
Oct 2019
Was visiting Florence during my fall break while studying abroad. Me and 3 friends signed up for this cooking class and it was easily one of the highlights of our entire abroad trip. You cook with a real authentic Italian Mama, who although didn't speak English, was still very fun and silly to work with. You also have a guide there who translates what to do as well. The views from the kitchen are marvelous and the food prepared was easily the best meal I have had in my life. In this class we made a dessert, a pasta, and chicken pancetta; each thing better than the next. You prepare the entire meal then sit down and eat as a group, which was just as fun as preparing the meal. The entire experience was blissful and I wouldn't change it for the world! Definitely do this cooking class!!

Wonderful day, delicious food!

We had such a wonderful time in the countryside with Alexa as our guide and chef.
Everything we made was delicious and after the class I feel like a really can recreate the recipes at home! The location was beautiful and rustic and felt like it was out of a movie! The cantina visit was an added bonus! I really cannot recommend this tour enough! Thank you Alexa

Bucket List Ticked
Alexa! Your warm personality and knowledge of cooking is awe-inspiring. We booked this course for my mom - her biggest dream was to learn how to make pasta in Italy and today she ticked the list! Love your recipes and cannot wait for you to sell your aprons 🥰 Great tour loved every moment of it! And oh my goodness the wine 😱 Love love love all the way from Sunny South Africa 🇿🇦

Excellent tour including learning about the winery, tasting different wines, making pasta, chicken, and cake. Everything was delicious! The guide Alexa was fantastic and fun to be with. Francesco, the owner of the winery, was knowledgeable and very gracious. Lastly, the grounds of the winery were lovely. One of the best tours we have been on! Thank you!!

Amazing and Fun Excursion
Aug 2019 • Friends
I traveled with my brother - we are both adults so I chose the”friends” category for type of visit.

Anyway it was so much fun! First a 35 minute ride to the countryside. Then a tour of the winery which has freaking Etruscan tombs under it?! Sorry for the spoiler there but it was amazing.

The Alexa, who not only created the class and picked out what to make, took us to a cute house that is literally attached to the winery to cook. You step into this classic Tuscan house and are greeted by frescos on the wall that are just want you didn’t know you wanted to see! Then into a kitchen that is out of Under A Tuscan Sun and your cooking experience begins. About a bottle of wine into this experience, the house table wine, Alexa pretty much ran the show lol. But the Florentine cake was delish! Making your own pasta was so much fun and damn the chicken at the end was mouthwatering. I highly recommend this excursion. Alexa was such a great guide I wand her as my BFF now. The tour ends with a delicious surprise which I won’t spoil. You won’t regret this tour!

Great day out
We have 2 teens (19, 17) and we all enjoyed this tour. Approx 45 min drive through the countryside to a small winery. We enjoyed making pasta, chicken wrapped bacon and cake and had an interesting look around the winery itself, tasting the wines with our lunch. Alexa and chef Patricia were very friendly and made it a lot of fun. Thank you!!

This was a great experience. Loved the tour/history of the grounds - including Etruscan ruins. The wine on the estate was also delicious. We learned how to cook with Alexa and had the best time chatting with her as well. Would recommend this to anyone who likes wine and eating pasta.

Amazing!!
May 2019 • Couples
The tour began with a drive through scenic Tuscany, which was gorgeous. Our tour guide and chef, Alexa and Patricia, were incredibly friendly and helpful in teaching us authentic Italian cooking. The tour of the winery cellar was a great learning experience and the food that we made was some of the best homemade pasta and chicken-wrapped bacon that we’ve ever tasted. I would highly recommend this tour if you are looking to get out of the city-area for a bit and experience authentic, rural Italian cooking.

Fantastic experience!
May 2019 • Couples
This was my favorite activity of our trip. We were transported to a wine estate with roman ruins underground and given a quick tour. The hillside scenery was beautiful. Then, my husband and I broke off from the rest of our group into our cooking class. Lucky for us, we were the only two who had registered for this activity among our larger group. We were lucky to have Alexa as our instructor, who was great at teaching us everything we needed to know. The tour was also very accommodating of our vegetarian diets, and we made fresh pasta with a vegetable sauce along with a salad and olive oil cake. We also sipped on some local wine of the estate during our class, which was delicious. Not only were we able to eat what we prepared for lunch, but we received recipes to take home. Overall this was an experience my husband and I will never forget. It is also a great activity if you want to see some of Tuscany's natural beauty without renting a car.
