The trip canceled hours before it was scheduled to happen. We had so little notice that a replacement wasn't available so we had to scramble on trains to get to our favorite city in Italy. We had planned to show our son and his wife and 4 grandchildren what was so wonderful. But instead we spent >4 hours on trains and missed Pisa altogether. Very disappointed. Will avoid this any Viator tours in the future.

Nice excursion coming off our Royal Caribbean cruise for the day. We had a chance to explore Florence on our own for a few hours, and Pisa for an hour. There’s a lot of walking from where the bus leaves you to get to the touristy areas. Not great for my elderly parents, but fine for the rest of us (adults and teens).

This is a good tour if you want reliable transportation- like we did because we were on a cruise ship schedule - but prefer to explore on your own. We had a decent amount of time to see the highlights in both Florence and Pisa. The tour guide also offered tips/itineraries for both. Our only issue was that they had apparently moved the meeting time to an hour earlier, and we were not informed. We were lucky that they didn’t leave without us but another group was not so lucky and ended up missing the tour. Hopefully they got a refund because it definitely wasn’t clear that there had been a change. The tour itself was exactly as expected though.

I chose this for me and my family because we definitely wanted to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa and Florence even though time would be tight as we were on a cruise and had only a few hours. This tour picked us up right at the dock, they explained everything to us on the way to Florence so that we could maximize our time by deciding what we wanted to see in the short period of time we had. We then went to Pisa and took all the fun pictures. History was explained to us on the way there and pick ups and drops off went smoothly. It's cheaper to buy this excursion directly from the tour operators when you arrive at the port but I wanted the experience guarantee that Trip Advisor offered so I had no problem paying a little extra. Highly recommend!
