Overview
Have only a short amount of time to explore Florence? Make the most of your stay, and see more of the city in less time, on this introductory tour. Meet your guide in the city center and venture to the Accademia Gallery: with skip-the-line entry, you’ll head straight inside. Discover Michelangelo’s David—an icon of the city—and learn more about its history from your guide. Then, continue on a walking tour of Florence’s major landmarks, from the Ponte Vecchio and Santa Croce Basilica to the Duomo.
What to Expect

Florence is one of the most visited cities in Italy. There isn’t a single day in a year Florentine streets are completely free of tourists. Most of the time, the queues to enter the city’s busiest landmarks are incredibly long and unforgiving. Moreover, there is so much to see! Often, it’s hard to decide what things to do in Florence when your time is limited.

Buying our Florence walking tour with Accademia Gallery guided tour will not only give you a thorough insight into Florentine history but also a fast-track access to Michelangelo’s David in the corridors of Accademia Gallery. Our guide will help you discover why David became the symbol of Florence; where the statue was originally meant to stand; how did it end up in the Accademia… and more!

In a nutshell, our tour combines the best of Accademia as well as an excellent overview of the architecture and history of Florence city center. With us, you can enjoy one of the most wholesome Florence guided walking tours while still have some time left to explore on your own. If you are staying in Florence longer, the tour will give you a good idea of things to do and see in the following days. Furthermore, if your travel plans change you cancel with a guarantee of a full refund (given you let us know at least one day in advance).

Erudite, educational, informative, and exceptional

Our tour was the "Skip-the-line Accademia Visit and Florence Walking Tour" in English at 1415 hours. We were late bookers for the tour, the night before, and were really only interested in seeing David once again, and didn't want to line up. Julia, our guide,...More
