      Best Sidecar experience!
This sidecar experience was the highlight of our family Trip. Tommy and his guys were so much fun and taught us history on our way to the most beautiful vineyard. Stop what you are doing and book this excursion with them. You will love it!

      Exceptional
Fantastic! This is a must do tour! It was so much fun! The ride through Tuscan hills to Chienti was fabulous! Tommy the owner was a brilliant guide! The family winery and restaurant serves great lunch n wines! This is by far better than going on a bus wine tour with 60 others! Do this tour for sure!

Touring Chianti in a vintage FIAT! What a great time.
We had an incredible time touring the Chianti Classico with Gilberto and his classic Fiat. The wineries selected were great contrasts in style but both were incredible. We got to see the smaller villages around Florence in such a cool way. Seriously was a great time!

      Great Tour, Wine, and Lunch
We booked the day tour through Tuscany with a stop at two wineries and lunch; we also visited Greve. Our trip through the Chianti region with Giovanni was excellent. We booked a small group tour, but it ended up just being the two of us with Giovanni. Our guide is a sommelier and gave us great information about the wine and region. The wineries were small, family run businesses, and they were great. The lunch we had was probably the best we had during our entire stay in Italy. The wineries offered to ship the wine and olive oil that we purchased (for a small fee), which made traveling home so much easier. This tour ranks as one of the best we’ve taken anywhere, and I highly recommend it!

Wonderful guide, wonderful wine, wonderful tour!
We chose the Vernaccia and Saffron in San Gimignano tour based on my wife's love of white wine and after careful comparison of itineraries and reviews of tours from Florence. All that research paid off: Tommy is an outstanding, attentive & and informative guide with perfect English and extensive local knowledge. Both wineries we visited were beautiful and produced excellent wines, and our lunch was excellent (and I'm not a huge fan of saffron). San Gimignano is a gorgeous and fascinating town (be sure to visit the Dondoli Gelateria -- probably the best gelato we've ever had). We highly recommend touring with DeGustibus, and we will definitely be taking another tour with them on our next visit to Florence!

      Fun Family Experience
My husband and I took our two sons (8 and 6) on the morning tour with Tommaso and Gilberto. It was a great way to experience Florence as a family. I’d recommend this particular tour to get familiar with the city and see what lies just outside the busy tourist area. On our trip, a surprisingly strong thunderstorm rolled through and we took shelter in a church, adding even more excitement to the experience. Once the storm passed Tommaso and Gilberto outfitted us in raincoats and the ride continued! Such a fun time that our family will remember always.

Don't miss this fabulous wine tour
I can't recommend De Gustibus highly enough. Tommaso was the perfect guide, incredibly informative and great company. The wineries we visited were a very special experience, we didn't feel uncomfortable although we knew very little about wine and had never been wine tasting before. The choices of stunning scenery, amazing food and wine and great company made it a day we won't forget.

Start your wining -- don't miss the Chianti Classico experience!
Fun, informative, and full of excellent wine (and food!), the Chianti tour is well worth the day trip out of Florence and into the heart of the Chianti Classico region. Tommaso was our amiable guide, able to speak about the history of the region, facts about the wine (he's a sommelier in addition to a tour guide) and the sights we passed along the way. Before booking, I was hesitant about a full day trip that only included two (unnamed) wineries. But with literally hundreds of wineries to choose from in Chianti, it makes sense that Tommaso changes it up from one tour to the next -- it not only spreads the love across many different wineries, it also keeps his own interest. Moreover, the visits themselves are *immersive* and unlike the more corporate wine crawls one might experience in Napa. Both wineries were family-run affairs where you meet the winemaker themselves, tour the cellar(s), and stroll the stunningly beautiful grounds/vineyard. We also met some cows. It's worth mentioning the homemade Tuscan lunch was the best meal we had in Florence and paired with, as expected, equally incredible wine. Highly recommended and encouraged -- a true highlight to our trip.

Feel the wind your face and view Tuscany in a different light!!!
In my recent trip to Florence, I came across this Vintage Sidecar Motorcycle Tour. For anyone who is looking for a unique way to experience Florence and a wine tour in Tuscany, this is a must!!! I had the pleasure to have Gilberto as my tour guide, whose knowledge and history of Tuscany is outstanding. He was able to answer all my questions about Florence and Tuscany. Especially enjoyed the history of Chianti Classico symbol. Gilberto is a great person and tour guide. From the moment I purchase the trip to the moment I met Gilberto, he was in constant communication to ensure all my questions and concerns were answered. The winery was a treat, tasting local delicious wines and foods. Sit back, relax and enjoy the beauty of Tuscany in a unique and awesome way.

      Amazing Experience
My husband and I did the wine and food sidecar tour with Tommie. I can honestly say this food and wine tour was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Tommie was absolutely wonderful. He was full of information and exceptionally kind and professional. The places he took us, the scenery we saw was breathtaking. He took us to a little winery where we did a tour and had the most delicious homemade lunch. Maurizio and Loretta were the sweetest people. The wine, the food... oh my! If you are in Florence, the sidecar tour is a must!!! At the end of the day, my soul felt revitalized. We plan on going back to Italy just to see Tommie and do another sidecar tour.

What a way to taste Chianti - fabulous and fun.
If you love the wind in your face, the sun on your back and an exhilarating way to get around the local Tuscan hills. Then this is the tour for you. Tommy was a wonderful host and driver taking us through the landscape, stopping in historic squares for coffee and on to the vineyard. Excellent winery tour of the family cellars, great plater and wine flight. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience and a different way of getting out and about then this is the tour for you. We would thoroughly recommend.

      Chianti & its villages
I love these turs. Second time for me in 2020, the second one was in 2019. The first one was a great way to explore Florence, this one a cool way to getout of the city and heading to Chianti. Tommaso is a great and patient driver, while seating comfortably you can learn about territory and traditions. Will do it once again for sure

Doesn't get any better than this
I own a sidecar touring company myself and must say that Tommy nailed it with his tours in and around Florence. It felt like touring with a friend rather than a guide, I felt like a traveler and not a tourist, I got to get away from the touristic traps and get to some authentic off the beaten track places I was hoping to find. Tommy is the key to Florence, seen and lived by italians. and HE LOVES WINE! Ladies, marry him. Guys, book this ride! Grazie Tommy!

Our tour guides were very informative and made the experience so great that we will remember this for a lifetime. Plan on buying some wine to have it shipped back to your country. Don't pass on the grappa, it's really light and complementary and ilthe end of the tour.

This was a great day. Our guide, Simone, was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, all of those. We learned so much from him.

The first winery—organic and small—was just terrific. Again, the owner/winemaker was terrifically open and knowledgeable. His wines are really lovely. His farm stay was so inviting that I’m sure we’ll be back.

The second winery was good, not great. The lunch was quite nice, and the wines were also very good (albeit a bit expensive). It was a good experience, just not as personal as the first.

I really can’t say enough good things about this company.

Highly recommend this wine tour in Montalcino! Gilberto, our tour guide was wildly enthusiastic as well as an excellent guide. He was even able to book us dinner reservations post tour at a local restaurant. Mamma mia! We would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in learning more about local wines without the crowds!

Had a wonderful tour with Gilberto to Montalcino for a winery tour. We were lucky enough to witness the bottling process prior to starting the tour of the castle and cellars. Lunch was outstanding and afterwards we drove to the Fortezza for additional wine sampling. Lovely day, lovely tour.

My wife and I booked the Brunello di Montalcino tour as the last hurrah of our vacation in Firenze. We had an amazing time touring two different small and off the beaten path producers of amazing Brunello. At the second vineyard, after a very informative tour of the production process, we had lunch prepared by the grandmother of one of the ladies working at the vineyard. The food and hospitality was just amazing.

Gilberto was our driver and tour guide. He was very friendly as well as knowledgeable about wine production in Tuscany. De Gustibus Tours was easy to work with and very reliable and trustworthy. I would 10/10 recommend this experience to any wine lover or anyone looking for something fun and unique to do in the beautiful Tuscan countryside.

We had the most perfect trip out to Montalcino from Florence. Gilberto was an excellent host! The wineries we visited were lovely, family-run wineries with high quality, small batch brunello production. We would absolutely recommend others to try this tour (especially if Brunellos are one of your faves).

Gilberto of De Gustibus Tours was our guide for this amazing tour into the Tuscany wine country. We were met at 9:00 in Fiesole, then to Florence to pick up the other guests, and off to wine country! It is quite a drive from Florence and Gilberto provided us with some very interesting history as we made our way. Our first visit was Monteriggioni, a medieval fortress village where we wandered briefly and had a coffee. We then visited Tornesi, a very small family winery where we toured their facilities, and where they also make olive oil. We met an additional group of guests here that joined our tour. It was a very interesting and enjoyable mix of people. We were served fabulous wines and a very special 5 course lunch. It was such a beautiful day and we were so satisfied, no one in our party wanted to budge! But we had more to see... Our next stop was Cuccio Rubino, another very small winery, where we toured their facilities and tasted their beautiful sparkling Rose and Brunellos. We eventually wound our way home and it was an 11 hour trek in all.
Gilberto was wonderful, we enjoyed him and everything he provided for us, and thank him for making our day so memorable.
