I have always thought that visiting museums (especially an amazing one as Uffizi) without knowing each single detail and understand all connections and art evolution in different centuries might be almost useless.
Our private FRENCH guide "GUYA Toninelli" was able with is extreme passion to engage us in an amazing "Renaissance" experience.
From our point of view, having a directly and human relationship during cultural visits (that you might do once per year since you live abroad)
will be always more valuable than any audioguide and, for this reason, worth the whole price.
Something absolutely we generally suggest to do! Even more with this company and GUYA as FRENCH speaking guide if you want to be sure about service quality.

This museum is the best in Florence. It is located near everything else you want to do.. eating shopping Ponte Vecchio. Our tour guide Francesco was perfect. So much information and he made it fun for my husband with his wonderful storytelling. We got right in. Saw the birth of Venus , every important piece of art. Book this tour you won’t be sorry.

We were lucky enough to be the only two people on our tour with Elisabetta. She met us promptly at the agreed time and arranged this at short notice for us. She was friendly, informative and succinct. She was able to adapt the tour to our requirements of what we wanted to see. Her English was excellent as were her explanations of the artwork, their technical details and the small features that the un-trained individual would not notice. She also kindly gave us some helpful recommendations of extra things to see in Florence after the tour and local eateries to try authentic dishes.
It's worth noting that you can pay the tour in advance including the Uffizi ticket, saving a considerable amount of time of queuing.
Overall highly recommended.
