We visited San Gimignano for about an hour and a half then did a tasting and lunch at a winery. The pours were very generous (had about 10 tastings here!!) and the lunch was delicious (had about 4 courses! We were stuffed after). Ended the day at one more winery that had more of a local feel. Rami our guide was really great, such a lovely guy and took great care of us on the strip. The Mercedes mini-van was spotless, very comfortable and cool. Rami gave us all an itinerary of the day which was great and explained where we were going and what we could see on the way. Cinque Terra towns visited are beautiful, especially Manarola. The sea was choppy so we needed to go from town to town by train which ate into some of the time, but again Rami was always there and we both felt very comfortable. The trip is definitely 5 star although it is a long day and there is a fair amount of walking if the ferries are not running. Our lunch was very good and the whole day is a memory well worth the money spent. I would 100% book with Truescany again, I got regular txt updates before I even left UK and the whole experience was superb! Thanks Rami!

On Friday 8th September we did this trip with Mateo , from the booking onwards it was brilliant, I was well informed of the content of the day, Mateo our driver and guide was fantastic, he was a great driver , friendly, knowledgeable about the locations both along the route and at the attractions, he looked after the whole group very well , made us feel welcome and was an all round terrific bloke.
The van was a modern , comfortable Mercedes with good quality air conditioning, tinted widows.
Overall the day was an absolute highlight of our trip to Italy and would highly recommend this company to anyone considering a trip down the coast to a beautiful area.

I feel so fortunate to have had Rami as our guide for this full day excursion to visit Cinque Terre and Pisa. His warm personality is contagious and our group of 5 was quick to pick up on that. The day was long but you would never be able to tell because the time was managed so well. I felt we had ample time to visit each of the sites and Rami made sure he was always accessible while giving us our freedom and own time to wander. Hiking is possible if you choose. Full disclosure, this tour is for 3 of the 5 Cinque Terre towns (Riomaggiore, Manarola, and Vernazza) however, I do think this was enough to get a good feel for the region.
Tours are often the best way to maximize your time and we were so happy with our experience. I would not hesitate to book another excursion with this company. There was clear communication the night before the tour regarding the meeting point, and I received a text in the morning letting me know that the guide was on the way. It’s little details like this that make all the difference when traveling in a foreign country. If you do choose to book this adventure, I highly encourage you to request for Rami if you can. He’s the best!

Cinque Terre is beautiful but the tour spots are a bit too crowded and it is a tourist trap. For a whole day tour, we covered 3 villages, boat ride, train ride and they also threw in a trip to Pisa. We got to see beautiful views of the villages along the ocean but heard no stories about the places because we were dropped off in each stop to explore by ourselves.
This tour is probably not worth the time and money even though our tour guide Esam was good. Esam knew how to manage the group, provide some helpful information and even navigate a day with bad weather.
These are cute villages with a ocean view but the tour feels a bit repetitive after the first village. So, you might choose to focus on one village but take a longer hike and stay out of crowds. A tour is probably not needed and you can just take a train from Florence for a much lower cost and enjoy the same.
If you get to go to Amalfi, one can probably skip Cinque Terre altogether as the views in Amalfi are similar in nature but much more spectacular.

It was a very well organized and executed day trip, meeting all of our expectations. We were especially impressed by the level of professionalism of our driver and guide, Andrea, who went above and beyond to ensure that our time is most efficiently spent everywhere we went. He was always courteous, mannered and polite and he provided us with great details and interesting facts about the regions we visited.
It is very obvious that the company takes pride in their services and no detail is forgotten. We strongly recommended this company.

This tour by itself was fantastic, but our tour guide Andrea made it even more special and memorable. He was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and passionate, and the experience he shared felt like I got the best of what each location had to show. He kept a great pace for the group to move the trip along in a timely manner because there is already so much being covered in this tour. The timing was enough to see some special monuments and take photos, I am not sure if the other 2 villages in Cinque Terre could fit in without compromising anything else. I ended up doing the hike from Riomaggiore to Manarola and Andrea communicated clearly where I should meet up with the rest of the group on the other side. The hike was great by the way - there is plenty of warning about the trail being a challenge being nearly all steps and uneven ground, also in the sun, but since it's one of the first things done on this trip, it's still pretty early in the day when it's not so hot. Also, the views from the hike, much like the rest of this trip, was so worth it. Thank you Andrea!

If you want a comfortable hassle free way to see Cinque Terre and Pisa, I highly recommend this tour. Truescany handled every detail of our day and we rode in a nice air conditioned vehicle with a capable driver.
Our guide and driver, Mateo was fantastic! He is knowledgeable and friendly. He was specific about each of the three towns we visited and gave us plenty of time in each. He even made our lunch reservations in Vernazza so we did not have to waste our time waiting for a table. And the restaurant was delicious - try the white wine from Vernazza. First class tour!

We had a wonderful trip! The driver guide is so nice, acommodating our pickup and dropoff changes and being on time for the whole trip. The timing for each transition is perfect, not too long and not too short, we had enough time to enjoy each villiage and pisa, and don't feel boring. He also helps us book a very nice restaurant for lunch, it was sooo good. I will definitely recommend people to take this trip.

This was a semi private tour that ended as a private tour of just the 3 of us with the very professional & friendly driver/guide Fabio who speaks very good English. He gave us good tips about the villages that we visited. Every minute was very well spent to cover Pisa & the 4 villages that we visited.
I like the fact that the tour was very customizable. My knees are not strong enough to hike, Fabio ended accompanying me to take train while the other 2 hiked from one of the villages to the other.
I had a very enjoyable & fruitful 12 hours day that was money well spent.
With Covid 19, I wish the tour operator would require vaccination for tour participants, since they will be traveling in a vehicle (especially a small car) together for at least 4-5 hours of traveling time in total.

Hello. Some parts were more challenging than others. However, you can walk at your own pace and/or simply avoid areas where there are narrow steps and steep hills. Despite avoiding them, you will still get great pictures and experience the surrounding beauty and landscape.

Does the cost of the semi private tour cover entrance to the National Park and the fare between towns? Will the trains be running in February? Are all of the stops on the scheduled tour open on Monday, February 20, 2023?

Hi, I can only answer part of this question but yes the tour cost does cover the fees between all the stops. It does not include lunch but they will make the reservation for you to eat lunch if you chose to do that. I don't know about the trains or stops in Feb. We went in July and they were all running.

The guide is going into the town with you because he sets up the boat ride from the first town to the second and sets up the train ride from the second to the third and then the train ride back. He is moving with you the entire time. He will even make your lunch reservations for you. He is not hanging out at the van waiting on us and he is not taking the van from town to town.
