    Long wait
Had to wait in a very long line - 45 mins - for a ticket that was sold as "skip the line." The Duomo is more impressive outside than in, although the dome is worth seeing

    Beautiful views, lots of history
Our guide knew everything about Florence! The ride itself was a bit more strenuous than I had expected, as I live in a flat city. I was fine, but you may want the ebike if you are not a regular rider.

    Loved it
Great tour! We did the last run of the day and I loved seeing the sunset at the top of the dome. Our guide did a great job choosing strategic places to pause and talk about what we were seeing (places not as crowded, with seating, on landings, etc.) The climb isn't that bad. Yes, wear sneakers and prepare to be winded, but the guide stops at landings and there are times you pause for another group ahead so you have a chance to catch your breath. It's not a continuous 500 steps.

Long line at Duomo in October.
The entrance line to the Duomo was extremely long. Being able to skip it was wonderful. If we hadn’t done the tour, I don’t know if I would have waited that long. Probably 1.5 hrs. We are visiting in mid October, I can’t imagine a summer line. The museum was ok, but the Duomo was incredible. It is beyond impressive. I would definitely take the tour if you’re planning a trip to Florence.

    Excellent tour - loved it
Really enjoyed the bike tour - a great introduction to Florence and cycling really does give you the opportunity to see so much more. It was busy but no problem riding on the small streets. Our guide was friendly, welcoming and being born in Florence had great local knowledge and there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions - particularly liked the use of headsets to hear the guide. We used e-bikes but very gentle riding so just a standard bike would be good too. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

    Great Tour & Guide
Our tour of the Duomo skip the line was made extra special by our amazing tour guide Guido he was friendly and also funny and made it very enjoyable. His English was excellent and he was extremely passionate and knowledgeable of everything Italian. He gave other useful information about places to see and things to do around Florence, we I would highly recommend this Tour and it was definitely skip the line as the queue were huge and we sailed through, also their is not many Tour Operators that they allow to climb the Duomo so we feel very privileged.

    Do the Duomo Tour
Guido was amazing! This tour is worth it and I highly recommend that you go on this tour. Be aware that this is not for those who are claustrophobic or afraid of heights. Climbing up the Duomo can be challenging, but it is worth it! Thank you Guido :)

    Good Overall Experience
Good tour, especially because you climb the Dome first, before everyone else. Tour guide did a good job explaining things before hand and on the tour.

Rainy and lovely ride in Florence
On a rainy and lovely morning we took on the central tour with CJ as our guide. It is great fun to ride through the traffic and tourists and experience the history and architecture of the beautiful city - former capital of Italy. Thank you and see you on a fat tire tour in another city.

463 steps is doable and worth it!
Excellent tour, knowledgeable tour guide. We did the 9 AM tour, which got us into the Basilica before it opened. The private Northern terrace had good views over part of the city and gave our legs a rest 1/3 way up. The views from the top were totally worth climbing the stairs.

If you need English-speaking, you might want to make sure you're getting a clear speaker.
The tour was worth it to skip the line. Our guide was very hard to understand and did not make sure the entire group was around her when she started speaking about particular sites.

On our recent trip to Florence my girlfriend and I decided the best way to see Florence was to eat it. We both work as caterers so this would add to our repertois as far as food knowledge was concerned giving us ideas and inspiration.
Our main goal was to sample real italian food. Not the touristy high priced pap but food that Italians eat. Neighborhood shops where locals hang out, and this tour was right on point.
Our guide Francesco made this tour an engaging lesson not only about real food but about Florence in general. Giving us the history and genesis of what we were seeing and tasteing. Our tour was organised by course starting with a lesson in aparatif where we didn't just stop at a bar and grab a drink, we had a lesson in how the aperitif came to be and a hands on aperitif making lesson where the owner led us in mixing and enjoying our first course.
And so it went with every course. We walked to shops and restaurants eating and learning from Francesco and the restaurant owners who welcomed us like family into their kitchens like a chef's table episode. In our opinion Francescos knowledge and relationships with the restaurants and neighborhood made our food tour an experience we will never forget.

We had a great time with Brian! We were the only ones in the group, and so he spent time focusing a bit more on our interests. He shared his sommelier knowledge with us at the wine tasting shop and even shared the best places for shopping and dining. We were able to spend a wonderful evening with a specialist in the area!

I love food tours and I always try to do them while visiting a city. This was my first one in Florence and didn’t disappoint the expectations!
We did several stops, ate different things (ham, salami, bread, pizza, pasta and others), drunk two different beers and one typical Italian cocktail (negroni). Veronica, our guide, told us about the venues and the main spots of the city; she was friendly and knowledgeable and totally recommend a tour with her.
I also recommend this evening tour as Florence doesn’t offer so many activities in the night and this is a very nice way to spend an evening in the city!

A great great tour to do, informative, enjoyable (both for the tour guide and the company you will meet on a tour such as this) and you get to see A LOT in a short space of time. The food was all fantastic of course being in Italy and the guide being Italian means you wouldn't get taken to a bad place. It leaves you full of ideas of places or an area to go back to the next day afterwards and it gives you the confidence to explore a bit more and practice your Italian. Only tip I would make is to take a bottle of water with you. There's a good deal of ground covered and whilst there's plenty to eat and drink you will find yourself a bit thirsty purely because you work up a thirst packing in all the great places and great drinks and dishes. Would definitely recommend this tour.

This tour was lots of fun. Our guide (Marzia) was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and showed our small group of four a great time. We got a real taste of several local establishments away from the touristic areas, including both beer and food. There was only one glitch - one of the restaurants was very busy and did not have our reservation, so we missed out on the pasta part of the tour. But there was plenty of other food and beer during the 3 hours, so we were overall very happy and satisfied.

Hi Cristopher, I am sorry that we had to skip the pasta tasting but I hope you enjoyed the other food and drinks you tasted. Come back to Florence and join our food tour in the morning, you will have a complete view over the Florentine cuisine! Regards, Marzia
