We cannot say enough about Valentina and the Tasting Italy experience. During the planning of our trip to Italy, my wife and I decided to do something solely for us. We wanted to renew our vows in the land of my wife's dreams. After several nervous conversations through email and a personal welcome in the lobby of our hotel in Florence, Valentina put together a beautiful location near San Gimignano at a vineyard called La Mormoria. Seriously, the location was like being on a movie set. She arranged a wonderful minister named Daniel that conducted a beautiful ceremony in front of the vines waking from their winter slumber, back dropped by the wonderful town in the distance. The photographers, friends of Valentina for over 30 years, were amazing and didn't miss a thing! It was a beautiful ceremony that we will not forget. More importantly, we were so impressed by Valentina and her ability to put us at ease as well as her welcoming demeanor. After five minutes, it was like we had known each other for years! She was so professional and really handled each and every detail with precision. I would highly recommend her and her company for anyone that was thinking of this type of service.

My wife and I had a great experience working with Valentina and the rest of the wedding team. Through the planning and the ceremony itself, everyone was extremely professional and helpful. Planning a wedding 4,000 miles from home, we had to trust that everything would run smoothly when we arrived, and it absolutely did.
The ceremony was set on the rooftop of the Hotel Astoria where the photographer captured the events with the beautiful backdrop provided by the city of Florence. We ended up with nearly 700 photos including a half hour of shots taken after the ceremony around the city. Valentina even filmed the ceremony and sent us the video to relive the experience. Included after the ceremony were a champagne toast and an excellent lunch at the hotel restaurant. My wife also used their hair and makeup service and was very pleased (as was I--she looked beautiful!)
The one omission from the ceremony was a bit of personalization. The officiant conducted a very nice ceremony, but it lacked the personal touch we expected it would include considering that we sent our story at their request.
Overall, though, the the wedding experience was very affordable and stress-free, which is exactly what we were hoping for!

We found Tasting Italy's vow renewal service through getyourguide.com. Valentina was well organized with her set options for this booking. The price is competitive for the services provided. Our event was at the terrace of the Astoria Hotel so if you are looking for some remote Tuscan villa venue in the countryside, this package is not for you. However, the terrace did have nice views of the Florence Cathedral and some surrounding landscape. The hotel itself is apparently historic and the somewhat precarious ride of the small elevator up to the terrace may be an indicator of that. The hotel staff, namely Sabina, was very supportive in their partnering with Valentina. The staff exclusively with Valentina included a photographer (Fabrizio), an officiator (Pastor Stefano - we chose Christian), and support (Daniele). Stefano did a great job with a heartfelt ceremony. We were the center of attention - just make sure you have your own vow exchange. After a nice farewell we came back later for the included dinner and wine. Food and service were great!

Valentina did an absolutely amazing job planning our perfect day. I loved that I didn’t have worry about a thing and that it was exactly as I dreamed it would be.
She not only helped with the ceremony, but also arranged our transportation to the venue, photographer, live streaming, music, flowers and hair. Everything was exactly like I envisioned.
Highly recommend her for all your wedding needs.

I'm a travel planner in California and I collaborated with Tasting Italy for the first time to plan a week-long trip for 14 people to Tuscany. We stayed 4 nights in Florence, 3 nights in Siena and did multiple day trips, excursions and tours. The guides and transportation companies they selected were excellent, and so too were the excursions they recommended. The only struggle we had was in finding good hotels at our desired price point, but overall my experience working with Valentina and Daniele was superb. They are both incredibly warm, wonderful people, and extremely professional and responsive. I would 100% recommend them to plan your trips or events in Tuscany!

Pakco and I had a great wedding ceremony with Valentina and Daniele. The hotel terrance has a great view of Florence. The ceremony goes smooth and we had a really enjoyable and unforgetable time there.
Valentina is a pleasant, considerate and responsible wedding planner. Although the documents required for a civil wedding for Hong Kong citizen is really a complex, Valentina dealt with the occasions and always provide with clear guidence. We are also appricated about Valentina's prompt reponses to our questions raised.
Valentina also asked me for our live story before our ceremony. I am superised by the officiant that he has incoporated our love story in the wedding speech!
All in all, Tasting Italy is such a good wedding/tpur planner and I am sure Valentina could provide all you need!

We had the most beautiful holiday in Italy this year thanks to Valentina and her team. Everything was great! The hotels, locations, the excursions,our guides, our whole itinerary was perfect.
We spent 9 days touring Tuscany including 2 days in Rome( which was obviously short but Tasting Italy planned it in such a way that we got to make the most of it!). Florence was our base and we stayed at a lovely hotel by the river Arno right next to the Uffizi Gallery. The location couldn't have been more perfect. We did day excursions to Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca and wine tasting in Chianti. I would definitely recommend staying a night or two in Siena and San Gimignano. They're beautiful little towns and have their own special charm with so much history and culture.
Our guides Vittorio, Anna and Emma were amazing too. Emma actually went out of her way to try to get us a good deal for some leather goods which wasn't part of her job. So that was really appreciated. Michele, our driver, who took us on all our excursions to Pisa, Lucca, Chianti, Siena and San Gimignano was so cool too. He kept us entertained throughout with stories of Italy and was such a fun guy. Vittorio, our guide in Rome had such a good sense of humour. Actually took our mind off the heat! Anna we hardly spent any time with comparatively but she was a very nice and warm person. Valentina was lovely. She was very helpful and accessible whenever I needed to ask her anything. She was there to see us at the airport when we landed and again to see us off at the station. It was the small gestures and the personal touch that made so much of a difference.
I would definitely recommend Tasting Italy to anyone planning their trip there. Our excursions and sight visits were all planned amazingly well. Also gave us enough time to explore the city by ourselves. We will be coming back for sure!

I found this company accidentally while searching Google. Was planning symbolic wedding for just two of us. Valentina was responsive and patient with me. I changed the plans few times until I came up with what i want, so thank you for that. The prices are competitive. The choice of places are great too. Florence is soooo amazing town that you don't need anything extra to make it special. The photographer that Valentina provided us was Fabrizio Gaeta and he made our day. He worked so hard to make photos look amazing. I never seen such a dedicated photographer. I hope one day we will meet again and I ask Valentina to make a tour for us or something.

Valentina at Tasting Italy organized the officiant for our wedding ceremony at a private villa outside of Florence in September. The stressful process of planning our entire wedding from New York made me very much appreciate Valentina's easy-going nature. She was efficient, informative, responsive and helpful; all traits I really want in someone I'm working with on such an important event. With Valentina's guidance we chose Stefano as our officiant and we couldn't have been happier. He was very sensitive to our thoughts on how we wanted the ceremony to unfold. He even allowed us to edit his sermon & readings to better fit us. He spoke English very well which I actually hadn't considered early on, but ended up being very important to me. Valentina had us write the 'story of us' ahead of arriving in Italy. It was an amazing exercise for us as a couple, but it also gave Stefano lots of information about our relationship that he folded into his sermon. Valentina and Stefano met us a few days before the wedding to walk us through everything and assure us that our ceremony would be exactly as we wished. And it was! Our wedding was truly everything we hoped it would be. It was very personal and extremely tailored to suit us. Thank you Valentina for making that happen! In addition to being a service-oriented professional (something that is not so easy to find abroad), Valentina is warm and kind and I was glad to have her by my side on such an important day. She also gave us a wonderful gift after the wedding that I am truly appreciative for. Thanks so much! Baci, Kimberly & James
