Ciaoflorence is a very professional company. I booked with them before the pandemic and I was supposed to go on this trip in 2020. They promptly provided a refund when I requested it as I couldn't go in 2020. Fast forward to April 2022, I finally made it to Italy and I re-booked this tour.

Constantino, our guide and the driver (I think his name was Alessandro or Sandro), were brilliant. Constantino is a very patient, courteous and well-mannered gentleman with a very good, amiable and pleasant nature.

Constantino answered all my questions during this long day and we had a massive traffic jam coming back into Florence due to all the people returning to the city from the Easter long weekend. We ended up going way over the return time (I think we returned at 8.30pm when we were supposed to get back an hour beforehand). He remained calm and courteous all that time and the driver was so patient and calm too. It was a great team and partnership. I felt a bit sorry for both of them as they had such a long day and must have been tired. They did a great job and I hope the company rewards and recognises them.

I highly recommend this tour. Yes they are not typical destinations for the first-time traveller to Florence but if you are looking for a competitively priced great tour to see some beautiful Tuscan towns, this is it. A couple of wine tasting venues were included even though I opted not to go as I wanted more free time.

I couldn't fault this company. They were so well organised and all their staff from the people on the phone, the people checking you in at the meeting point, and the guide and driver were all top notch. Best value for money and I'd go with CiaoFlorence again any day.

This tour was amazing! Really good value in this package. Our tour guide, Alfonso, did an amazing job communicating with us despite how large our particular group was (42 people) and was extremely informative in the tour. Our driver, Antonio, also gets a huge round of applause for his incredible driving skills. Overall, the experience was well mapped out for us and we had a reasonable amount of time to explore the villages to shop, eat, or even chat with the others.

In the wineries, if your party is too large and you don’t feel comfortable asking questions out loud, you can simply pull the actual wine cellar tour guide worker to the side and have a more one on one conversation on the wine. I personally enjoy that more, and throughout the entire tour, all of the workers were very accommodating and passionate. The pecorni cheese was fresh and delicious and you can purchase the wine bottles or cheese at the shop right after you’re done with the individual tours. Very impressed.

Oh, and the bus was comfortable and large with AC. Only thing I couldn’t find was a charging dock for my phone so choose wisely when to use it. Fortunately for us, we brought our own in a bag.

Wonderful day spent touring the Tuscan country side. All 3 towns were lovely places to explore without the usual throngs of tourists. The 2 winery tours were informative and the wine and cheese pairings were delicious. Our tour guide, Renata, worked tirelessly to share her knowledge of the area as well as translating between 3 languages effortlessly. Kudos to our amazing driver, Franco, who negotiated hairpin turns and roundabouts with ease and care. I highly recommend this day trip!

This is an absolutely magical tour.

We were toying with the idea of renting a car and driving through Tuscany ourselves, but elected the tour so we could also do wine tasting and we’re so glad we did.

Marco was a revelation, such a positive and helpful tour guide, he really made the trip with his joyful explanations on each area.

You never felt rushed on each location, with just enough time to explore and relax, without getting being bored. All the different small towns we explored were beautiful, as well as the different viewpoints throughout the Val d’Orcia region and the wine tasting super interesting.

The stories behind the wine were great and in amazing settings, one in a 6th century BC cellar and the other with a breath-taking view overlooking the Tuscan hills from a vineyard producing wine for 27 generations. There was also no hard push to purchase, which so often ruins these tours.

We’re so glad we chose to do this tour and would recommend it to anyone wanting the full Tuscany experience from Florence.

Excellent tour, we got to visit some beautiful places and sample some delicious wines and cheeses. Our guide Constantine was excellent, full of charisma and knew all the answers to our groups questions. Paul our coach driver navigated some difficult terrain but we felt safe at all times. Overall we felt we were in good hands throughout the entire 12 hour tour. Definitely recommended as you experience the beautiful Italian countryside and UNESCO protected region with stunning vineyards, olive and cyprus trees, which you wouldn't normally see on a city break.

If you want to experience genuine Tuscany I recommend this tour. It does not include major cities but rather small picturesque litle towns in the heart of Tuscany. The scenery along the way is unique and spectacular. Our quide Constantino was amazing, funny and informative.

Our guide Valentina and our bus driver Paolo were an absolute dream team. Our guide was personable, funny, and informative. She has honed the amount of information, guidance, self exploration, food and bathroom stops to the perfect ratio. I came home delighted and not tired. I get motion sick and Paolo drive with such care my stomach was like a placid lake. The natural beauty of the region is something you will not soon forget. If you take one day trip from Florence, pick this one.

The bus they allocated for our group of 33 was too small.

My husband and I had to seat separately the entire tour because the first 2 window seats was occupied by the guide and the person assisting her.

The bus seats were small & cramped.

There was no cheese tasting and loads of walking.

Probably more value for money if lunch was included.

The Val d’Orcia tour is the perfect opportunity to explore the authentic beauty of Tuscany. Great views, stops in picturesque villages and tasting of a selection of fine wines. Pienza was my favourite stop with its charming little streets. Also, our tour guide, Constantino, was very funny and provided us with the essential information we needed to know.

This tour was amazing. Special thanks to Marco our driver and Constantino our guide for the day. Constantino was very friendly, helpful and went out of his way to make sure that we visited the main attractions in all of the locations. Constantino knew a lot of the history of the places and kept everyone entertained. We visted Montepulciano and took a tour of the Nobile wine cellar, later visited Pienza and Montalcino and finally was given a Brunello wine tasting in a castle. 5-star experience. Definitely recommend it!
