      Great, even in the rain…!
Anastasia and team were great…. Unfortunately, it rained all day but really enjoyed the experience. Would have skipped the wine tour to spend more time in San Gimignano… that part felt rushed.

      Waste of money
The person who was on the bus with us, a lady called Marina, was really disappointing. She seemed to be bored to death and really eager to see the end of the tour. On the bus, she made only the minimum effort to fulfill her duty. As we were driving along mountains and beautiful landscape, she didn’t care to make any comments on what we were seeing or explain anything. The least lively person I’ve ever seen in this kind of activity. She answered the questions in a very brief way, and immediately turned her back on us to do something else, as if we were annoying her. Anyway, the tour itself was a waste of money. We chose the low cost tour, but we could not expect everything would be so frustrating. We should have taken the train instead, at least we would have saved the money. We couldn’t even taken part in the buccellato tasting, because we had chosen the low cost tour. In other words, we just paid for the transportation and didn’t have the right to anything. Worst experience ever and a huge waste of money.

      Siena trip/wine tour
Claudia and Angela were great, helpful. We went to Siena and a wine tour. A lot of freedom and the bus tour was nice and worth it. The dinner was great.

      Tuscany tour
Great tour. Our guide Gabriele was very friendly, fun and had good information! He even organised a little train to Pisa tower so we didnt have to walk, and to be honest, it is so convenient that it should be automatically part of the tour. Anyway, we had a great day, very organised and the lunch was 1000% worth it!

      Beautiful day in picturesque Tuscany
Excellent itinerary, great learnings about the region and the wine of moltecino and brunello. We started the day at a monastery being introduced to the labor of monks of st Benedictine. Got to taste some local beer brews and then were taken to Moltencino for lunch and wine tasting. Both food and wine was exceptional making you feel wanting to come back in the future. The final leg of the tour was Pienza where one could learn about Pius II and the relevance of the Picolino family for the area. We choose to visit the palazzo publica for the picturesque views of the valley of D’Orcia and have some cheese tasting privately at a cheese shop around the corner (totally worth it). Day went quick and gave a great introspective of a small corner of Tuscany. Tour guide Maria Angela was funny, informative and created a relaxed atmosphere of discovery. Crazie Miele!

Tuscany in September with wine tasting and lunch
The views and weather are amazing, and we took a lot of pictures. There were 20 people in the tour which is just fine, our guide MaryAngela took good care of us. But this tour doesn’t include a visit to vineyard. It would be perfect if we can have lunch near a vineyard. If the tour can stop by the Val d’orca for us to take a picture, it would be even better!

      Three amazing places to see!
There was beauty everywhere you turned at each of these stops. Roberto, our tour guide, was wonderful--very informative and extremely kind. Great places with great wine. Cosimo guided us there safely. Exceptional day. Do note that there is no eating on the bus, so eat beforehand and start off on an amazing trip to three remarkable places with fun wine tastings.

      relaxing
relaxing trip and lots of free time to walk around & take pics. The tour guide is super friendly and helpful. Just the lunch portion was little smaller than expected, not enough to pair up with the wine.

      Tuscany is breathtaking
Excellent tour of the Tuscany the whole day flew by in a blink. All three towns we visited are spectacular and would have been much more difficult to explore on our own.

      Was a big disappointment
I can’t really review this because we booked it with trip advisor and then the company that does the cooking never showed up. We only had one day in Florence and we wasted a good three hours getting to the meeting place then waiting for an hour and then told there was none booked for us. We did get our money refunded but was a big disappointment. Not sure who was at fault…trip advisor or the tour company but was poor communication either way.

Lovely day but way too long!
We booked with CIAOFLORENCE Italian experiences. A very long day, 6.30 am till 7.15pm 4 villages was way too many for the day, which could have been reduced to 2 and done a wine tasting in Tuscanny on the way back as all villages were quaint but the same. The bus driver and tour guides were fantasic. The train ride between the 4 villages was overcrowded and became very uncomfortable as we were packed in like sardines. The boat ride was cancelled due to weather conditions but it was perfect weather, which was very disappointing. No toliets available in any of the villages other than the train stations ones which you had to line up for with the other 50+ people wanting to use them and were charging 1 eruo. The bus did do a pitstop at a service station on the way back so you could use there facilities which was much appreciated.

Tour starts at the bus stop.. on time.. good guides.. 1 tour leader and then 2 local guides.. all great..

Decent bus.. parks a bit away from Pisa and you have to walk but the guide ensured we were safe..

Don't take the tour if you want to climb up Pisa (now allowed) - that needs more time..

Lucca was a surprise.. the local guide was charming and had a passion to show us around.. enjoyed the experience...

Great tour guides and a well organised day. Would not recommend if you have any mobility issues. It's a lot of walking and very full on. Members of our group with mobility issues really struggled. Also, for the Pisa visit, women need to cover their shoulders and knees for some of the monuments so think carefully when picking your outfit. Toilet stops were available but few and far between and as is common in this area, all came at a cost of €1 each unless you were a customer of the café or bar.

Packed a lot in during both visits through the day, Roberto was very organised and informative which made for a smooth visit. It was very hot so the Lucca visit didn't seem to have everyone's attention which wasn't the best mix when the individual tour guide for Lucca (Anna) delivered a stream of reasonably interesting facts in a very matter of fact way - could have been more engaging tbh but we felt sorry for her as the group were clearly tired. Nice coach with indispensable aircon! Pisa was nice but really just confined to the square with Tower and Baptistry - top tip you only have 30 mins to grab something to eat before departing to Lucca if you chose to go up the tower so bring a packed lunch as we did

Paolo and Roberto were wonderful! Roberto did a great job taking care of us and making sure everyone knew the expectations and information. This was very important when there are a lot of people to keep the tour on time. Roberto was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond giving us the tour in Lucca. He should get a raise! Highly recommend!

The Pisa trip was really good with a nice balance between the guided tour and free time. Sara, the local Pisa guide was very knowledgeable and made it an interesting tour.
It may be unfair to compare this with the Lucca tour (i.e. the leaning Tower and Cathedral v the whole of Lucca) but the latter felt too rushed. The guide was great but it was a bit of a sprint and another 30 minutes would have made it much more enjoyable.
The pick up arrangements were good and our coach guide, Sarah, was very friendly and explained everything clearly.
If you have time for this tour from Florence I would recommend it.

We did the tour by Walkabout Tours. The tour guide was an amazing person and explained the history behind the architecture interestingly well. He kept us engaged in the discussion. Also, the places are worth repeat visit for its shopping, restaurants and historical significance.

Trip was very smooth and enjoyable. There was sufficient time in Pisa and our guide was good. We enjoyed our time in the very charming town of Lucca too with plenty of time to take pictures, eat lunch, and have some gelato before returning to the bus. Everything was perfectly planned and coordinated thanks to Roberto and our bus driver. Top notch expetience.

Meeting location needs to be updated. We missed the tour because location took us to an apartment building. Guide called, but provided same directions as were being followed. Failed to call again to let us know they had left without us.

Dear Customer, We are sorry to read that you couldn’t join our tour. Piazzale Montelungo is Florence’s bus terminal and it is pretty easy to find since it is just behind the Santa Maria Novella train station. We suggest everybody to use the GPS direction or to go there the day before the tour just to be sure to make it easier the day of the experience in order not to be late and not lose the activity. We hope that you will choose us again during your next trip to Florence and finally enjoy one of our tours. Have a nice day, Ciao Florence Staff

Aldo and Roberto provided a safe and informative ride to and from our destinations. Roberto kept us organized and on time. Anna provided a good tour of Pisa. Without it, I’m not sure what we would have done beyond photos of the tower. Her tour was informative and she kept us engaged. Lucca was a beautiful town with more to offer when it comes to walking through town with shops, cafes, etc…. This tour was a little dry. Still enjoyed the trip overall.

Well executed Tour. Prompt with timings which was very appreciated. Bus host Roberto was very good. Driver, sorry I forget his name, was pleasant as well.

Local tour guides were appreciated at both Pisa and Lucca as they brought their own life experience to liven up the tour information.

Note: lost a star because we are very used to navigating cities and connecting easily with tours, however finding the location of the beginning of this Tour in Florence was more challenging than anticipated .. as the pedestrian walkway was not accessible from the terminal where we were turned to walk outside by station staff to navigate on the streets. With the heat and with this confusion it started the day out rough.
