- Jet56666600Fun way to explore Tuscany!Did this tour with my husband. We had a great time. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We explored 3 different vineyards all with food/snacks. I’d highly recommended doing this tour if you want to explore the Tuscan area and you’re short on time.
- Culture6074608908300Best Florence TourI would highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Florence. My husband, 21 year old daughter and I attended. It was such a fun and memorable night for all of us. The meeting point was within walking distance of our hotel and the coach ride to the farm has some amazing views. When we arrived at the Tuscan Farm, we were greeted by Angela who was the perfect host. She also was a great teacher in making gelato which was easy and fun to do. Arla and Tiziano were a great pizza making team and we had so many laughs as they taught us how to make pizza dough and delicious pizzas. We finished the night enjoying the views of Florence, eating our yummy pizza and gelato, and drinking some wonderful Chianti. This was a really special highlight for my whole family. A huge thank you to Angela, Arla and Tiziano for making the night one we will always remember.
- alan m00Great intalian experienceGreat tour , we’ve experienced an authentic italian food at a Vine Yard in San Geminiano . The lady who owns the vine yard prepared the gor all the tourists. She served us her own wine product both red an white. It was a great Italian experience. Big thank Jan carlo and the driver very knowledgeable of italian history.
- Q7755EMpeterh00Walkabout tours to San Gimignano, Siena and PisaExcellent tour, the tour guide Claudia was one of the best we have experienced. She was relaxed and very informative added with a real Italian sense of humour and warmth. We felt very safe with Pablo at the wheel. Great day spent exploring the delights of Tuscany.
- Maria pia Q00Highly recommend! Great adventure. The hostess Lavi was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and outgoing. My husband and I had a fabulous day, highly recommend. Have to mention Nando our driver who took great care in getting us to and from all the wineries safely.
- Domenic C00Beep beepGabriel, jakobi and Santiago were great hosts and guides. They made sure all riders were safe and confident on the road. Great sense of humour with interesting facts also along the way. We loved the new vespas and lunch was a nice bonus. Grazie Mille!
- Cynthia G00Fun & Fabulous in Florence, Italy!Beautiful atmosphere over looking the Tuscan valley, wonderful food and easy to understand Italian chefs with engaging personalities. Luca and Carmela were great! The people in the class, men and women, age from, mid 20’s to upper 60’s; all of them were very positive and friendly. I took this class with my adult daughter who is in her mid 30’s. We would definitely take more classes like this, it was such a fun & fabulous experience!
- 4kathrynl00Fabulous trip! This trip was wonderful! Alice the guide was so friendly, knowledgeable and super organised, we were in very good hands. Roberto was an expert driver and Marta, the guide in Siena was also excellent. I highly recommend this trip, you fit so much into the day and at no point do you feel rushed. The lunch at the farm was very special, loads of delicious food and enough wine to sink a ship. Bravo walkabout tours, I'll definitely be back and thank for making this the highlight of our time in Tuscany.
- Doug H00Beautiful TuscanyFirst, Tony was 5 star. Very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a wonderful visit to the 2 Tuscany towns and the lunch at the winery was excellent. Not sure short visit to Pisa was worth the time. Two hour bus ride for a 30 minute visit. Only had time to visit tower and no time to see the cathedral. Breaks for restrooms were rushed or nonexistent and not really factored into the schedule.
- Kelli B00Highlight of our trip! This was the highlight of our trip to Florence. Angela, Thomas and Tiziano were all so personable and made the evening entertaining. The Tuscan farmhouse was stunning and the pizza, gelato & wine were all decadent. We definitely recommend!
- MarciaB1000Perect day with smaller group tourWe did a smaller shorter day trip with Walkabout and it was AMAZING!!!!! Our guide Stephano was THE BEST !!! Informative, friendly and a very good driver!!! I had originally booked the longer trip that included Pisa, but then decided that might be a little too long for our group, so messaged walkabout to ask about a smaller shorter trip. It did cost a little more and skipped Pisa, but for us that was perfect. We first drove to San Gimignano, spent some time there, then had the most wonderful lunch at a beautiful organic winery with amazing views. We got there early before all the big busses, and the best seat in the house, with very few other being there. After we went to Sienna, where we had a small city tour, and tour their church. All in all it was a perfect day!
- teagueank00A perfect day trip tour from Florence! This tour was a long day, but very much worth it. Our guide for the day was Manolo and he was excellent. Our visit to Siena was nice and our local guide was knowledgeable but the tour she led was a little rushed. We finished our tour with the local guide at the Duomo in Siena which is a must-see and glad we had extra time to explore it after the tour. We stopped at a local Winery and enjoyed a delicious lunch and lots of good wine. The views were also outstanding. Our next stop in San Gimignano was short but necessary. The history and preservation of this city is unbelievable. We had enough time to do a little shopping, hike up to the second tallest point in the city and then get some of the back-to-back world champions gellato. Our tour finished with visiting Pisa, climbing our way to the top of the leaning tower. An extra touch that was much appreciated was Manolo spent the last hour of our bus ride back to Florence visiting with everyone individually and answering any questions they might have about the tour or just about Florence and Italy.
- K5000SBalana00Must Do!This is a must do! You will get tested before the tour even if you have experience. If you they don't think you can handle the Vespa, for your safety and everyone else, they will not allow you to ride. For the most part, everyone is able to pass the test. Aside from that, the tour was amazing. Great views and being on a Vespa is the way to go! The tour guides were all super friendly, informative, and funny. Most of all, the entire ride, they look out for your safety leaving nobody behind. The food too was great with amazing views from up in the hills. Do NOT pass up on this tour.
- polyanab21000Fantastic Tour to San Gimignano, Siena an PisaIt was an excellent trip, Gabriel and Enrico made it all happen to the best! They were amazing, a plus to your company indeed!
- S4639IZtarah00Loved itWe had such a great day. Kiara and Victoria were fantastic tour guides - very knowledgeable, interesting and humorous. Would 100% recommend.

The Fiat 500 self drive tour was one of the best experiences on our Italy vacation. Driving with the cute vintage Fiat 500 through the streets of Florence and out into the countryside was just amazing. Our guide Alberto was entertaining and gave us some key info on the area and the Chianti wines. We drove through quint little streets which felt like a Tuscan movie. Then stopped for great views and photo opportunities and thereafter for a nice lunch consisting of pasta, meats cheeses, bread and local wine and returned to Florence. Great morning out!

We went on a Vintage Fiat 500 tour with our teenage sons and my wife's family in April after her brother had said it was the highlight of their time in Florence in 2019. The group met up in Florence at 8.30am, walked a short distance to a luxury bus which drove some 15 minutes into the countryside to the warehouse where the company operates its Fiats and Vespas from.
The 7 of us were driving in the Fiat 500s whilst the rest of the group were doing a Vespa tour.
We left in 3 cars with Christian our guide in a fourth up front. We drove up and down narrow, stone walled road and villages through the Florence countryside, stopping at a vineyard, some viewing spots, a wonderful church and finally a lovely lunch overlooking a view of the city.
Christian was a great guide and he shared stories of the Chianti wine region. We would highly recommend this 5-hour tour.

Christian helped make our Florence experience memorable! My husband and I traveled throughout Italy with our two young children ( 8 and 5 years old) and they were so excited for their Fiat tour. They were the only kids on the tour but Christian made sure it fun and educational for them. The whole group was inviting and it was great to get to meet people from all around the world! My kids can not wait to travel more and still talk about how awesome the tour was. I highly recommend this tour with or without kids. We were taken to scenic views throughout Tuscany and even had to maneuver through the streets of Florence in a super fun classic Fiat. Everywhere we drove people would stop and wave because of the group of Fiats brought joy to everyone! This was the best tour we took in Italy and when we come back for a visit we are definitely doing it again!

We took the tour on August 31st 2020 and what a wonderful time me and my mom had driving around Tuscany with the vintage Fiats. Chris was a great guide. He was very patient and informative. It took a few tries to finally get how to turn it on and actually drive it, we laughed the whole time. We are huge Fiat enthusiasts, so it was incredible experience to drive an original one. We stopped at their farmhouse and Carmela made a DELICIOUS lunch of pasta and meats, she is an incredible cook. I took the cooking class back in 2017 and every year I make Carmela's pork recipe for Christmas. Walkabout continues to be the most incredible tour company. Every time I come to Florence I take one of their tours and its always an a life changing experience. See you next time!

If you want a true Italian activity you need to do this tour. Driving a manual vintage Fiat is a truly unique Italian experience.
Cris our tour guide was outstanding with his energy, interaction and knowledge. If you get Cris as your guide you won the lottery!
Our tour was a mix of Fiat and Vespas. We were the only Fiat driving all the rest were Vespas. The drive along the narrow stone wall lanes made the experience so much better!!
Stops were an olive grove /Chianti vineyard and then onto the oldest church built in 1004 high above Florence with views that are second to none….A must location if you want a full painting picture of Florence .
At end of tour you go to their private property where they also have pasta making classes. We had a superb lunch - pasta, charcuterie , fresh mozzarella and Chianti- WOW! This is not your standard tour lunch it was delish and came with a view.
Do this tour you will be happy you did!

This activity was fantastic. Highly recommended. From the moment we were introduced to Stefano, Chris and Alex they did their best to make the trip enjoyable for all. The cars were great fun to drive and with the convoy of vintage Fiat 500s and Vespas was a lovely thing to see and be part of and loved equally by the locals. Lunch was tasty (although make sure you wear insect repellent on your legs). Views and countryside are stunning.
We enjoyed it so much we would do the whole trip again in a heartbeat. You won’t be disappointed.

We both loved the Fiat 500 tour. After visiting Rome and experiencing three walking guided tours that ranged from great to good we wanted more than a wandering lecture and story telling.
Alessandro and Stefano were brilliant hosts good natured, great communicators and very knowledgeable about the Tuscan hills just outside of Florence.
There is nothing better than driving those tiny fiat 500s through the narrow, winding hilly Tuscan hills. It's the perfect way to explore the region. It was such fun both my wife and I were grinning and laughing the whole time.
Just a warning these are manual cars but Alessandro spent some time assessing everyone's skills at driving and helping some Americans learn 'stick shift'.
Can't recommend this enough.

Fantastic day with the “Walk About Florence” team! Can’t say enough good things about our experience. Our guide Alex was excellent — personable, knowledgeable, polite, funny, considerate. Driving the Fiat was fun — even though reverse gear was a bit elusive! I would not hesitate to tour with them again and you shouldn’t either!

Tre cars are all manual.
In each car a maximum of 3 adults can fit, so you will need at least 2 cars.

What is the difference between the "solo use" and "group"?
We are a company of two, me and my wife, and we would like to experience the tour.

Hello,
'solo use' is one person (just the driver) per car, 'group use' is for more than one person per car and drivers can still swap during the tour.
