Our tour guide, Michele, was absolutely fantastic! He not only gave us an extensive tour, but he also provided a multitude of very clear and amazing recommendations. He was the best thing to wake up to at 10am with severe jet lag! His energy and charismatic persona made the experience a 13/10. Could not recommend him more. Michele if you’re reading this we love you!! BOOK MICHELE!!!

We have been to Florence several times and have taken part to various experiences and tours over the years. I have to say the walking tour was the most informative tour we have ever taken. Our guide Fabio walked us through the city and told us the stories of the Medici family, power struggles, myths and legends. Highly recommend it.

My girlfriend and I had absolutely the best time in Firenze. We took the train into Florence and our first night we were only able to grab some dinner and get some sleep without really experiencing the city. Our first impressions were good but not great, but wait! There’s more! Booking with FlorenceTown was one of the best choices we could have of made and it certainly paid off! My girlfriend and I were a couple minutes late to our tour and our WONDERFUL guide Sara was so accepting of it all of our worries went away. Given COVID we got very lucky as it was only my girlfriend, Sara (our expert guide), and I on the tour. We had a ton of laughs and learned so much about the city. Seriously, if you’re tired of walking around for 9 hours, this tour is for you. We absolutely loved our tour because not only was it jam packed with history and beautiful scenes, but it was also a breeze to travel through. Sara kept our attention at all times and the complimentary Gelato was amazing. Sitting down for the ice cream was a nice small break and it gave some good time to have just normal conversation with Sara. All in all, Sara really knows her stuff and it certainly shows the quality and care that FlorenceTown aims to achieve. Look no further, FlorenceTown and Sara are the way to go when exploring the wonderful Firenze! I highly recommend her for any tour but especially this one!

Respectfully,
Brandon E. Shipley

It was a very pleasant experience to learn the history, architecture and politics of Florence from the knowledgeable and passionate guide. Lisa was delightful! She set up the pace to cover the subject and yet allowed our son of 6 years old to follow along. We couldn't have asked for better way to explore beautiful Florence. Thank you, Lisa.

I love the history of Florence and the Medici was a huge part of it. No one else signed up for the tour so I had my own private one. Lisa was wonderful! Full of so much knowledge and interesting facts. She even added little tidbits of quirky and fascinating details of Florence. I loved this tour and would highly recommend it!

We had initially booked the walk before the coronavirus pandemic began. When our visit to Florence finally happened, there was another cancellation. However, we eventually managed to have an excellent walk in the town with Frederica. She was a very helpful and excellent guide for our ‘private’ walk. With her recommendation, we visited Basilica di Santo Spirito, which was fantastic.
We were grateful for all advice and arrangements that FlorenceTown provided.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Walk & Talk Tour of Florence. Our guide, Lisa, was fabulous and her English was impeccable. She showed us many of the historical sites, including the palaces of the Medicis, Pitti Palace, Ponte Vecchio and so many others. She was very patient with me as I took several photos - even of the local street art, which she began pointing out some of the interesting art that I missed! The tour concluded with a scoop of gelato, which was made onsite. Lisa even pointed out some of the unique features of Florence, including the little wine windows where folks could purchase wine hundreds of years ago. There was so much to see in Florence, I'm sure we only scratched the surface. We appreciate Lisa's dedication and the city was beautiful and rich with history, intrigue and drama. I would recommend this tour to anyone who would like to learn more about both ancient and modern Florence.

Sabille was our excellent guide for a walking tour of just 6people on a cold winter day. We enjoyed the tour very much and it was a great introducti9n to the sights of Florence. We went back to visit lots of places again in more detail but with a very good background information of what we were seeing. Well worth the money.
