      Amazing intro to Tuscany
I had such a fantastic day, it’s an amazing intro to the beauty that is Tuscany! Our guides Sandro and Fabiana were very kind and amazing and I loved that they kept their energy throughout the day. I also loved that they told us about the region’s rich history. I especially loved San Gimignano, I wish we had more time there! It was such a great start to the day. Lunch with the wine tasting was also such a fun experience - the lunch itself was delicious and hearty, I was so full. Our guide for the wine tasting was also very witty and fun. I’m so thankful for the experience that I had today, it’s one I will remember for a long time! If you’re too lazy to book train tickets like me, BOOK THIS TOUR!

      Great day of highlights
It was a great tour, we got to see the highlights of 3 different, beautiful towns. San Gimignano was an absolute highlight, we could have spent longer here because we loved it so much. Our guide Sandro was also excellent - we were very impressed with his ability to switch between languages fluently, he kept us well informed and entertained. The wine was delicious and the guide here entertaining as well.

A very good one day experience
Excellent experience for a one day trip. Marta, the tour leader explained the places where we are heading beforehand, leaving free time for each one explore in its own way. Of course it is a bit rushed, it's 3 places for just a few hours, but gave us enough time to at least see the main places. If your dream is to visit this region, it is probably better to book one day on each of the 5 lands... But, if you want to have a taste and tips for the best places, food, views and a pinch of culture, this trip is very good!

      Must see it in person
The trip was amazing. To see these fishing villages on tv or in print is one thing but seeing them in person was so impressive. Everywhere I looked there was a better view of the cliffs and family farms and waves crashing. Martha and Alessandro were outstanding even in the face of adversity that they could not control (weather and traffic delays). Martha was able to coordinate the day around the changes and really made our day special. We were extremely happy with our visit to Cinque Terre.

We did the Chianti Wine Tour from Florence. Although our guide and second vineyard were great, the advertising for this tour was incorrect. The coach was not air conditioned as advertised, which was an issue when 3 of the 5 hours was on the bus and it was over 30 degrees outside. No wifi, even though this was advertised. An intro to the wine making process was also advertised, but we did not receive this. The Greve stop off was unnecessary given we were on a wine tour (restaurant stop off only, no vineyards or tastings available). The restaurant recommended to us at Greve also tried to overcharge multiple people €10 - when we questioned what it was, it was subsequently removed. We felt rushed the whole trip without time to enjoy the vineyards, view and wine, and would have preferred more time at the two vineyards we visited rather than a quick 10 minutes post-tasting and Greve stop off. We really wanted to enjoy this but just don't feel that it was sufficient value for the price we paid.

Dear Emily, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely appreciate the kind words you shared about our tour leader and the wineries during your Chianti Wine Tour from Florence. Your positive feedback means a lot to us, and we are delighted to know that you enjoyed those aspects of the tour. However, we are sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during the tour, such as the lack of air conditioning and wifi on the coach. We took our time to verify your comments in depth and we know from the operational department that the air conditioning was working properly. Although this, we experienced weeks of unexpected and unusual weather conditions with extreme high temperatures. The air conditioning system therefore may not seem to cool the temperature more than a few degrees less compared to the outside. Talking about the Wi-Fi, we know that sometimes, in some specific locations within the Chianti area, there is a lack of signal we can not manage. That being said, we assure you that is a temporary loss of signal. Regarding Greve in Chianti stop, is indeed a charming medieval village, and we usually receive positive feedback about it being a highlight of the tour. Your observations are essential to us, and we will take them into consideration to improve our services in the future. Our aim is to offer a more fulfilling and enjoyable experience for all our valued customers. Warmest regards

The 1st vineyard, Tenuta Riseccoli, was only okay, good to see the processing of the grapes given it was harvest time, enthusiastic guide but the wine tasting at the end could have been more in depth. Although good wines. The stop in Greve didn't add much - just enough time to have a quick look in the shops and grab an ice cream but that's all that seemed on offer anyway. The 2nd vineyard, Poggio Amorelli, was cracking! Really knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, good detail about the vineyard and winemaking process. Then talked through each wine, how to taste wine, tasting notes, recipes and pairings. Seemed to have more time at the 2nd vineyard to relax and enjoy the experience. The final stop in Castellina was much more picturesque and bustling than Greve - it would have been better to spend more time here and drop the Greve stop. All together worth a great experience but would have been better to allocate more time to the 1st vineyard and not stop in Greve.

This overall wasn’t a bad tour if you’re only looking to get in, take a couple pictures, and get out. After each tasting, we had only FIFTEEN minutes to enjoy the winery, purchase a glass of wine if we’re going to drink it quickly, and purchase any wine or goods. We were literally running to the bus after every stop because the time was so short at each. Even one of the winery employees made a comment he didn’t have a lot of time to go over the wines with us. Then at the end, we got back FORTY FIVE minutes earlier than the scheduled 8pm end time. Those 20 minutes at each winery would’ve been a game changer.

I would recommend booking a trip with more time or just a different trip in general to enjoy a couple of Tuscany wineries.

Dear Jamie, Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback about your recent tour with us. We genuinely appreciate your feedback and want to assure you that we take every customer's experience seriously. We are sorry to learn that you felt having limited time at each winery. The itinerary for this particular tour was designed to showcase the beauty of the Chianti region and offer a glimpse of its renowned wineries within a 5-hour timeframe. Your suggestion about extending the time spent at each winery is something we will carefully consider as we continue to improve our offerings. We aim to strike a balance between giving our guests ample time to enjoy the wineries while also ensuring the tour stays on schedule for everyone's convenience. As for the return to Florence, it was clearly specified on your voucher at 7:30pm. We have a wide variety of tours available, some with longer durations, that might better suit your preferences and allow you to fully immerse yourself in the Tuscan winery experience. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience you encountered during the tour. Please know that we are committed to constantly improving our services based on customer feedback, and we hope to have the chance to welcome you back in the future. Our best regards

Great choice of wineries with fair prices. Our tour included some incredible balsamic vinegar and olive oil samples! Our guide (Keiko) had a great sense of humor and kept us entertained during the drive into wine country. I didn't anticipate buying anything, but we ended up shipping some wine back home from the second winery at what I thought were reasonable prices ($5 Euro extra per bottle with a 6 bottle minimum).

To have a wine tasting in the Chianti area was always in my mind since we visite Florence. We chose this organized tour because the price ratio for the offer seemed very reasonable for us. And we can say we loved this tour to the Chianti área. The first stop in a winery was not so special, but then after a good lunch in Greve we went to a second winery, which was really amazing, with panoramic views and the presentation of the winery was perfect done by the representative there. Overall we enjoyed the trip also very much, because Maria, our guide always gave us during the trip a lot of information about the área, the history and in general, but always in a decent and sympathic way, which made the trip a real value. Conpliments to the Team, Maria for the competence and friendlyness and also Andreas the driver, who managed the narrow streets always in a safe way...

The meeting point was as described and easy to find. There were many busses parked across the street when we met our blue t-shirt clad tour guide. There was a pay toilet nearby. The ride was scenic. The first winery was nice. The second winery was more generous with their servings of cheese, bread drizzled with olive oil, and a few slices of salami. Great wines. Jovial company. We enjoyed walking around Greve in Chianti in the afternoon tour. . We took some lovely photos. As we only had maybe 45 minutes there, we opted to buy pastry at the bakery in the central plazza and eat on a bench. Some of the folks who ate at the restaurant were rushed. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience.

Our original tour was cancelled due to below minimum clients so CAF tours right away contacted us about the situation and suggested this tour. We were so thankful for their promptness and had a great experience! First and foremost, our guide/driver Guido was amazing, courteous and a wealth of knowledge - history of Florence and Chianti! He took his time driving to certain locations in Florence with background info before embarking to Chianti. We went to two wineries that truly hold on their roots and passion to wine making. The winders staff from both were welcoming and had as much as fun as we did! Highly suggest this tour!

The trip was well organised and the staff/families were friendly, informative and really passionate about their wine. The tour guide was clear and well organised too. The vineyards were pretty, with olive trees lining paths up to the farmhouse.

A couple of things might have made it even better. Would have been nice to stop for a photo opportunity of the tuscan countryside. We were sitting on the wrong side of the bus to take in the beauty of it all. 5 mins stop would have been great. The stop in Greve was a nice break in the tour but we only had 35 minutes which wasn't enough to get our bearings, get everyone something to eat and find a toilet etc. We felt rushed there and would have liked more time.

All in all, would recommend. Made a nice addition to our trip to Florence and bought home some amazing wine to save for a special occasion 😊

Constantino was our tour guide for our all day Tour in Tuscany. He is so very knowledgeable about the history & culture. He is very articulate, and has the perfect blend of historical expertise, humor & provided the perfect amount of info in easily digestible bites.
Highly professional & Constantino made this such an enjoyable & educational day.

Maria gave us an excellent orientation to Siena. I found her presentation so interesting & very well presented. Bravo ! And thank you!

Very much appreciated both expert tour guides. CAF is very fortunate to have Constantino & Maria on board as they very positively represent CAF, Florence & Siena.
