Beautiful and educational tour of the city
Francesca embraced the cold/windy weather for us and provided an amazing tour of the beautiful city. She provided stories of how Florence came to be what it is today. You can tell Francesca takes pride in the amazing city she’s from (and rightfully so!) Walking by the historic landmarks of the city is breathtaking, I would recommend this tour if you really want to appreciate the city.

      Fantastic experience in Tuscany
We enjoyed all of it. The landscape, the food, the wine, the time for each activity, the guide Fabiana, who was very nice and capable, explaining every single detail with accuracy.

Very good experience. It is a long day but if you want to see 3 Tuscan towns and a winery in one day it is. Be prepared to do a lot of walking as well.

Good but the wine tasting/lunch was too much of a sales pitch. Should change their timing in Winter.
The tour was good and guide knowledgeable . The timing was a bit off for Winter I feel. We got to San Giminagno at 5pm as the Sun set which was pretty however we literally had 5 mins of light and you could see that it would have been a stunning view of the Tuscan landscape. The lunch and wine tasting was more of a sales pitch to buy his wine. It went on for far too long thus Impacting later sights. The wine was very nice and the meal very nice (a little small) however initially I thought he was friendly asking where everyone was from however it was made clear that in the end he was asking so he could say they ship it to your country (not cheap). The place was very new (nice and clean) and appeared to be in an industrial area. Talking of industrial areas it seemed like the bus took us through many industrial areas I don't know if this is due to Tolls or due to the size of the bus. I would recommend it, and we all enjoyed it however hopefully the tour company takes some of these points on board.

Comfortable easy way to see a lot of sights from Florence in one day.
Was a great and easy way to see a lot in one day. The bus was comfortable and tour guide & bus driver were great. Food was delicious at the winery and the wine tasting experience was lots of fun. San gimignano was my favourite place, a little ancient hill top town with spectacular views!

Great tour guide and fun wine tastings. Especially the second tasting; the employees there had a lot of information to share & were generous with portions. The views of the 2 small towns and during the bus rides were beautiful. My partner and I got very motion sick during the bus rides though, so I’d recommend taking some sort of anti-nausea medication if you are prone to motion sickness.

The tour was really good, our guide was amazing and the wines were really good. We tried 3 wines at each winery.
The first winery was kind of cheap with the amount of wine, they gave an amount enough for just about two sips. The second winery Poggio Amarelli was out of this world, they gave almost a full cup for each of their 3 wines and Tomaso the sommelier was super funny and full ok knowledge. The only down side of it is that I picked the tour in Spanish but there is no info shared in Spanish once you get to the wineries because the people there don’t speak Spanish (it is included in the terms and conditions of the tour, so they are super direct with it), but as a suggestion it would be good if you share some written notes before the tour about the process or if the guide in the bus shares more info not just about the region and itinerary, but also about the wine process itself while on the way to the wineries. Last but not least, to everyone reading; this is not a tour for little kids, so if you are traveling with small kids and you don’t know how to control your own kid, please do not take this tour and avoid disrupting the group.

Dear Luiza, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on the Chianti Wine Tour from Florence! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the tour and found our guide amazing, as well as the wines exceptional. We appreciate your feedback regarding the wine portions at the first winery, and we will certainly pass your comments along to ensure that our guests have a consistently enjoyable experience. It’s wonderful to know that you had such a great time at Poggio Amarelli and that Tomaso made a positive impression with his knowledge and humor. We also appreciate your suggestion about providing more written materials or additional information about the wine-making process during the tour. We are always looking for ways to enhance our guests' experience and your input is invaluable. We hope to welcome you back on another adventure in the beautiful Tuscany region soon! Best regards,

It was an amazing tour. Our tour guide, Maria Luisa, was very nice and was always there if you needed something. She did the tour in English and in Spanish.
The tour includes a huge bus with AC and they have water bottles on the bus, but they cost an euro, so maybe is better to bring some water. The trip to wineries was very relaxing, there were some amazing views. The bus driver, Simone, was incredible driving in those small roads.
The wineries that we visited gives you some snacks, like cheese, salami and bread. It is not a full meal. But when we went to a village in Chianti, Maria Luisa told us about a restaurant and we had plenty of time to grab lunch.
Overall, the tour was amazing, I would definitely do it again. If you are in Florence this is a great little trip to make, even if you don’t drink or like wine.

We did the Chianti Wine Tour from Florence. Although our guide and second vineyard were great, the advertising for this tour was incorrect. The coach was not air conditioned as advertised, which was an issue when 3 of the 5 hours was on the bus and it was over 30 degrees outside. No wifi, even though this was advertised. An intro to the wine making process was also advertised, but we did not receive this. The Greve stop off was unnecessary given we were on a wine tour (restaurant stop off only, no vineyards or tastings available). The restaurant recommended to us at Greve also tried to overcharge multiple people €10 - when we questioned what it was, it was subsequently removed. We felt rushed the whole trip without time to enjoy the vineyards, view and wine, and would have preferred more time at the two vineyards we visited rather than a quick 10 minutes post-tasting and Greve stop off. We really wanted to enjoy this but just don't feel that it was sufficient value for the price we paid.

Dear Emily, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely appreciate the kind words you shared about our tour leader and the wineries during your Chianti Wine Tour from Florence. Your positive feedback means a lot to us, and we are delighted to know that you enjoyed those aspects of the tour. However, we are sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during the tour, such as the lack of air conditioning and wifi on the coach. We took our time to verify your comments in depth and we know from the operational department that the air conditioning was working properly. Although this, we experienced weeks of unexpected and unusual weather conditions with extreme high temperatures. The air conditioning system therefore may not seem to cool the temperature more than a few degrees less compared to the outside. Talking about the Wi-Fi, we know that sometimes, in some specific locations within the Chianti area, there is a lack of signal we can not manage. That being said, we assure you that is a temporary loss of signal. Regarding Greve in Chianti stop, is indeed a charming medieval village, and we usually receive positive feedback about it being a highlight of the tour. Your observations are essential to us, and we will take them into consideration to improve our services in the future. Our aim is to offer a more fulfilling and enjoyable experience for all our valued customers. Warmest regards

The 1st vineyard, Tenuta Riseccoli, was only okay, good to see the processing of the grapes given it was harvest time, enthusiastic guide but the wine tasting at the end could have been more in depth. Although good wines. The stop in Greve didn't add much - just enough time to have a quick look in the shops and grab an ice cream but that's all that seemed on offer anyway. The 2nd vineyard, Poggio Amorelli, was cracking! Really knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, good detail about the vineyard and winemaking process. Then talked through each wine, how to taste wine, tasting notes, recipes and pairings. Seemed to have more time at the 2nd vineyard to relax and enjoy the experience. The final stop in Castellina was much more picturesque and bustling than Greve - it would have been better to spend more time here and drop the Greve stop. All together worth a great experience but would have been better to allocate more time to the 1st vineyard and not stop in Greve.

The views from each vineyard were amazing. We took a few photos but most of the time we spent being fascinated by what we were being taught and of course - wine tasting!!! A really good value trip for the price per person - no hard sells at the end and some superb flavours.

Aaron was a great tour host and Marco an impeccable driver 👌

Maxcimus our bus driver was a professional driver, although the weather was so hot BUT our bus was well air conditioned and so cold. We enjoyed the drive. The tour depart in time and got back in time. Tasted 8 or 9 different type of wines and you could have more than one glass of each wine if you ask them for more. A walk in the vineyard was not included in the tour so dont expect to experience it with this tour.

Wonderful guides with Alexandra and Messimo our driver. Weather was perfect for December, sunny and about 57F. Great ride in the mountains, scenery was so picturesque. Our first stop was a small winery where the young lady met us at the drop off area right by the vineyards. Perfect setting to start off with. So many photos were taken that my wife got the perfect photo of us ‘Under the Tuscan Sun’. We tasted wine, bought wine to ship home, and were entertained by the cats and the funny small barking dog. They also had roosters, which is a symbolic of the regions wine. We then journeyed to the 2nd winery where there was a very long and steep hilly and rocky driveway we had to climb. The bus could not make such a drive, too difficult and steep. Once up top, the panoramic views were priceless. The sun just strategically lowering over the mountains creating the perfect effect of half orange sunlight and blue gray sky, which you have to see it. In this winery we learn more about the process and sleeping wines, their development into what’s in our glasses. The young man here was more animated and showman, it made the experience fun. Now the first stop, the young lady was good in her style, but this guy seemed more comfortable with the public. We bought wine, ate the cheese, salami and bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Had wine shipped home. Great tour. Highly recommend you go and experience this region and enjoy. Chow!

We’re absolutely delighted to hear that you had such an unforgettable day in Tuscany. It’s wonderful to know that our tour leader Alexandra and the driver Massimo made the journey even more special, and we’re thrilled that the stunning scenery and warm, welcoming atmosphere of both wineries left a lasting impression on you. The picturesque moments, like the perfect photo ‘Under the Tuscan Sun,’ are truly what make this region so magical, and we’re glad you were able to capture such memories. Your thoughtful feedback about the guides and the unique features of the wineries is much appreciated. We will certainly pass on your kind words to them and the rest of the team. This overall wasn’t a bad tour if you’re only looking to get in, take a couple pictures, and get out. After each tasting, we had only FIFTEEN minutes to enjoy the winery, purchase a glass of wine if we’re going to drink it quickly, and purchase any wine or goods. We were literally running to the bus after every stop because the time was so short at each. Even one of the winery employees made a comment he didn’t have a lot of time to go over the wines with us. Then at the end, we got back FORTY FIVE minutes earlier than the scheduled 8pm end time. Those 20 minutes at each winery would’ve been a game changer.

I would recommend booking a trip with more time or just a different trip in general to enjoy a couple of Tuscany wineries.

Dear Jamie, Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback about your recent tour with us. We genuinely appreciate your feedback and want to assure you that we take every customer's experience seriously. We are sorry to learn that you felt having limited time at each winery. The itinerary for this particular tour was designed to showcase the beauty of the Chianti region and offer a glimpse of its renowned wineries within a 5-hour timeframe. Your suggestion about extending the time spent at each winery is something we will carefully consider as we continue to improve our offerings. We aim to strike a balance between giving our guests ample time to enjoy the wineries while also ensuring the tour stays on schedule for everyone's convenience. As for the return to Florence, it was clearly specified on your voucher at 7:30pm. We have a wide variety of tours available, some with longer durations, that might better suit your preferences and allow you to fully immerse yourself in the Tuscan winery experience. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience you encountered during the tour. Please know that we are committed to constantly improving our services based on customer feedback, and we hope to have the chance to welcome you back in the future. Our best regards

The trip was great! The winery’s were lovely/picturesque, the wine was good and everyone was very nice.

The hosts were very accommodating and their Knowledge of wine was great.

The coach ride is 1 hour each way (winery’s to Florence and return) with a 30/40 mins drive between each winery. This might put some people off however the coach was comfy, spacious, air conditioned and had WiFi to keep us entertained.

Maria-Louisa was especially great as I proposed to my partner at the last winery and she was great liaising with the winery staff to make the experience/proposal the best it could be!

    All in all, would recommend!
