Tremendous amount of history to be seen!
Ricardo was great - the most passionate ambassador for Bologna possible! Learned so much history from him and appreciated his love of the under-seen and less known sights in the city. Really learned a lot and saw many impressive things we would not have otherwise.

The tour operator can’t tell time
Do not book this tour! We booked the tour for 10:30 and received 2 confirmations saying so. We arrived at the meeting place and were told the tour left at 10 and we were out of luck. Unprofessional to say the least.

      Interesting tour, would recommend.
Great tour had a really knowledgeable tour guide and it was great to learn the back ground of the city. It was a big group but headphones and audio packs provided which was great and easy to listen too.

      More talking than walking…
An interesting tour, but not strenuous by any means - the first hour plus was spent in an around the Piazza Maggiore! But I learnt some interesting nuggets of information and our guide was thorough and clear, with excellent English.

We had an amazing tour with our guide today!!! I’m not sure whether his name was Ricardo, I should have asked, but this guide had so much enthusiasm and knowledge we were blown away: Thank you for the perfect afternoon!!

      Walking tour of Parma
Excellent tour although there were times when we could not hear our guide. She has a soft voice. The information we did hear, however, was very good. She answered all of our questions.

      Famous for cuisine and culture
Bologna is an historic city that is famous for its cuisine and culture. It's capital of Emilia-Romania, a province in Italy's north-east. It's remounted for its artisan cuisine. The food is said to be the best in the country. The lauded University of Bologna was founded in the 11th Century, it is the world's oldest university in continuous operation. Bologna is interesting to walk around.

Great overall history of the city
Maria was a wonderful tour guide. Very knowledgeable and answered questions from individual group members as we walked. The only down side is the audio equipment. It was difficult to hear through them, full of static and voice was mostly muffled. Luckily, our group was small enough that we were able to stand close and hear her just fine without it.

      Great thing to do
Absolutely recommended. If you don’t want to wander around with no purpose and if you want to avoid looking at the sculptures with zero knowledge of what’s in front of you, this tour is super recommended . Very nice experience. Great guide.

A great overview of Bologna and its history
We loved this tour. It was excellent value to spend time with such a knowledgeable guide who gave us an overview of the City layout and history. Also touching on food and where to eat. Great fun and very happy we did this tour!

If you love Ferrari then you must do the full day
I’m so glad I did the Ferrari all day which was the original museum and Enzo home and then the track and factory and another new museum. It was very emotion seeing the two together. I was on the fence about buying one but I will for sure now. There truly a dream car to own.

      Very worthwhile: thanks Balthasar!
I’m grateful for Balthasar! Friendly, knowledgeable, interesting- great guiding through a great place. I’d taken a tour of Bologna before but Balthasar had a few tips and tricks I’m surprised the other tour missed.

Maria is a terrific guide. Her knowledge about a wide range of topics is deep. The walking tour was an excellent way to begin the trip.

Great informative walking tour of Bologna
The walking tour was great. Very informative. They split the tour so ours was all in English and the others were maybe in Italian (I think)
