Great couple of hours taking part in Italian cooking! See as it was during Covid-19, my partner and I were the only participants. We were greeted by Luca and offered coffee while they prepared the kitchen for us. We helped make bread, learnt how to make macaroni and of course, pizza! we had 2 breaks - and at each, we ate what we made and had a litre of house wine! The macaroni was made into '"pasta alla norma'' and it was my favourite dish of the course. They even emailed us the recipes after. I highly recommend doing this class, it's a cool way to experience with locals.

Giovanni was an amazing teacher, his English was very good and he just loves food. He also taught us pasta making and bread making, which we never expect. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

My friend and I feel so lucky that we signed up for this class! The entire staff works to make you feel welcome, the class is organized and fun. In addition, breaks are built in to enjoy bread, cheese, wine and the new friends you’ll make. Luca was our instructor and he showed patience and humor. We culminated our class with a feast of the pizza and handmade noodles we created. The class was topped off by being able to take our aprons home. A definite winner for money well spent!

Fun and interactive workshop learning how to make macaroni pasta, and later, our own pizzas! Nicely spread out over 3-4 hours, with a few breaks and plenty of food/wine/drinks for everyone.

You can be as generous as you want with your pizza toppings, and you can bring your apron home too.

The class itself was lots of fun. We loved making, and eating, our pizzas and would recommend. The problem was the poor- no, non-existent- communication. We started contacting Viator via the information listed 3 months early asking if we could do it this tour via cruise ship. No response to multiple requests. So we finally booked it a few days before hoping then we could get through. No response. We finally got information from the cruise ship indicating that the Porta Messina where we meet it not the same as the Porta Messina where we dock so tried to cancel but by then it was too late. Sooo, we went for it anyway. We got off the ship at 9:30 am, walked to the train station and bought a ticket for Taormina, after the 1 hour train ride (17 E) we took a taxi to the meeting point (15 E) turned on our phone (10 E) and called- finally receiving an answer that the restaurant Porta Messina was right there at the arch. We walked in at 11:40, having missed the pasta making but in plenty of time for the pizza class. Had a great time and an adventure to boot so a good day.

Hello Customer, SAT Group is always available for information and clarification on all different matters such as timetable and meeting point. We are sorry that Viator did not answer to your question. It is not depending on our company. We could have asked to postpone the starting time of the class for you only. Next time, please call us or send mail directly to us to get more info. All the very best. Guest Relations Manager SAT Group

Had a great time learning to make pizza, macaroni and bread, which we got to eat after. There were lots of laughs and a lovely way to meet others. Very generous with meats, cheeses and wine too! Would definitely recommend doing for anyone visiting Taormina!

We had an amazing time - we booked onto the evening session from 18.30 - 21:00. We booked via Airbnb experiences. Stefano taught us to make macaroni pasta with dough and a pizza base, which we then rolled out and put our own toppings on. They were super kind and knowledgeable and funny. In between we had a break and they were welcoming, feeding us antipasti and garlic bread and wine and water. Amazing good energy. It was also just the two of us since no one else had booked on. Best thing we have done in sicily.
