I made an account to do this because I never write reviews so let that tell you something. This was the best thing I’ve ever done on a vacation. Simone is the best! He was so knowledgeable, considerate of our amateur skill level, and funny! He gave us recommendations for the rest of our trip and Etna Tribe will have my business next trip because of him!

I had an amazing time on the tour! The sights were stunning, and Enzo, our guide, really knew how to make it both informative and fun. He kept things lively and interesting the whole way. Definitely worth it!

This is a great trip that was a lot of fun with a fabulous guide, Simone. He was a very energetic, knowledgeable, and attentive guide who made this trip a lot of fun. We were picked up and dropped off right at our Air B and B which made it easy for us. The ride up to Mount Aetna is so beautiful and Simone was full of stories and information. The views from the parking area at the top are breathtaking. While there is an option to hike around with the guide, we choose the Quad bike tour for an extra 135 Euros for the two of us which was out on the lava fields and down some paved roads. There is also a cable car to the top for an extra charge as well. I would recommend that you plan to spend the extra money on one of these options. The lunch and wine tasting was excellent with high quality food and excellent wine. We were a bit concerned initially as we were grouped together with a large work tour from Romania so there were 2 vans with 14 colleagues and us. Both the 2nd guide Giuseppe, and our guide Simone did a great job of helping us to feel comfortable with this larger group, and the work group were very kind in having conversations in English with us. It was a truly remarkable day and we can highly recommend it.

The private Mt Etna and Wine tasting tour from Taormina was fantastic! Our guide Cali_Allessando was great. He spoke excellent English and was so knowledgable about the volcano, the history, the land, and the people. He gave us information all day. We went to a large cave and he provided helmets and lights. We went by transport to the top where the cable car ended. The cable car was not working due to wind when we arrived. From there we walked up the mountain. We went up as far as we wanted. At one point our guide went up to one side of the peaks to let us know how the visibility was and if we should hike up. During the tour we were able to see all sides of the mountain. The wine tasting was great. We were not prepared for the amount of food they would serve with each wine. It was a full meal. The cannoli was the best I have had in Sicily. We visited many small villages and were able to go to many locations. This tour was booked through Viator but I think you could book it through Etna Tribe. I would request our guide. If you want a great day long tour this is it. Expect a whole day tour.

This was really an unforgettable day. We had a day that started at a pleasant river that we waded in and were able to take very cool pictures from there. We continued on to Etna where we had an amazing time with the trek up. This was followed by wine tasting and tasting of various olive oils and delicious spreads. We met some very nice people from different places and this also made the trip more enjoyable. Our guide, Guiseppe Barbagallo was wonderful He clearly takes his job very seriously and has a passion for what he does. He was incredibly knowlegeable about the volcano and also about a variety of other topics regarding Sicilian dialect and culture. He had a very large English vocabulary that he clearly worked on and was a very warm gentleman.

We had an excellent guided trip from Catania to Taormina (and more) with Simone as our guide. It was a really informative and entertaining tour where he provided explanations of everything around us, was incredibly friendly, and created a great atmosphere during the drive. We received tips for restaurants and more in Catania, where we are staying during our holiday. Communication and service were top-notch. Warm recommendations from us. This trip was amazing the guide was exceptional and we had the best day ever. The guide Lorenzo made the trip amazing, we could not go up to the top on the cable car due to the weather, but he took us on a great walk around the lower craters and then off to the cave and Toarmina. He have us so much information on Etna the area and Volcano's we cannot thank him enough for making the day so special.

Incredible 1/2 day on the boat with Joelle and the Captain Giovanni. Joelle is smart and very well informed who seemed to really enjoy teaching us about the history and area as we sailed. We stopped at Ali Costello and swam while Joelle made us snacks and drinks which we enjoyed before we began our sail back to Catania. Very relaxing. Boat is very comfortable for sailing, and enjoyed making new (international) friends on the trip. Highly recommended would do it again if we stayed longer!

I recently took a tour of Mount Etna in Catania, and I couldn't be more impressed with our guide, Alessandro. His extensive knowledge of the volcano’s history and geology was unbelievable. The breathtaking views of the landscape were complemented by insightful commentary. This tour was a highlight of my trip, thanks to Alessandro. I highly recommend!

Great day trip, and Lorena our tour guide was so friendly and knew so much about all the places. Beautiful cities and nice to see more than one place. Very well organised and easy transport throughout the day.

Lorenzo was our guide and he was amazing! So informative and helpful! Would highly recommend! Views of volcano were great. It was very windy Definitely need a jacket!

We had a great time! Nando gave us so much information and background on everything we saw. The places were beautiful with so much Sicilian history! We got lots of time to visit in each place and I look forward to bringing my friends back to enjoy this tour next year!!

Excellent experience! Staff were really friendly and made sure everyone was having a good time. The snacks provided were amazing! Drinks were also nice. Would definitely recommend this experience!

This tour is basically a transfer from Taormina to Mt Etna with forced add ons in mt etna from their partnered companies. It's nice that the guide picks you up from the hotel but that's pretty much where the praise ends. Basically once you get to Mt Etna, you have to pay for ANOTHER excursion to explore Mt Etna or else you are in the visitor center for 2/3 hours without a guide. Instead of even saying that you can ride the cable car without a tour the guide basically only gives you 2 overpriced 2 options with other tour companies, an $80~ euro tour per person with the cable cars or a $65 ~ ATV ride. The guide recommended the best the ATV guide, saying you can see the most with it but basically you are in an incredibly bumpy ride with no seatbelts to the bushes of mount etna. You don't get to climb up or see anything. By the time the tour was done we did the wine tasting portion in a souvenir shop. While the wine / oils were good the portions were tiny and we got 10 minutes to see the crater and that was it. The tour didnt do a good job at explaining wether or not we should bring lunch or what to expect until you book it. I felt a bit ripped off- for this price it should've included the excursion in Etna and was upset the tour guide highly recommended the ATV trip over the cable car since it was a terrible way to see some of the park. My recommendation is to skip this excursion and either find just a mt etna transfer so you can walk around on your own time and not be ripped off by random tours, or do a different tour that has no add on costs. There was potential in this tour but this basically ruined our entire day.

We had a wonderful day trip with Etna tribe! Special thanks go to our guide Lori, she was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and made our day memorable despite the unfortunate weather conditions. She even organised an extra food tasting for us on Mount Etna since we were unable to spend that much time walking around.
