We had a great day, just the three of us. Claudio was a great driver, very friendly, funny and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful lunch in Modica at da Ignacio trattoria which was recommended by Claudio, lovely food typical of the area. The three towns were beautiful, great baroque architecture, very fine churches, but the best part of the day was just the scenery, both from the towns and the drive along the way. Highly recommended.

I returned to Sicily after nearly 3 years and wanted to visit a different part of the island. Giovanni kindly organised a fantastic tour to the Valley of the Temples and the surrounding area. We enjoyed this tour of the Baroque Towns. Giovanni is an excellent driver and we felt safe during the whole trip, both on busy highways and in traffic-congested towns. It was extremely hot on the day of our tour. Giovanni kept up a supply of chilled bottled water, which we appreciated. We booked a day with Giovanni to tour the Villa Romana del Casale. From the moment he greeted us, it was an adventure. When he learned it was our 53rd anniversary, he had a table booked for us for lunch, complete with a bouquet of wild flowers, followed up with a celebratory cannoli in Caltagirone. We visited a ceramics studio, where we met the “Maestro”, one of their most talented artists. Thank you, Giovanni, for making our special day, so memorable. It was the highlight of our trip to Ortigia.

We made a beautiful tour with Claudio and Margherita to Savoca, Forza d’Agrò e Castelmola. At Savoca and Forza d’Agro we took a walk and we visited the locations where the Godfather movie was filmed and had a lunch at the Bar Vitelli. At Castelmola we watched the sunset from the terrace of Bar Turrisi. Finally we enjoyed a very good dinner at Giardini Naxos. Splendid day! Claudio is a good and save driver and a perfect host. Highly recommended!

Wouldn’t really call it a tour. It was more or less a designated driver, taking you to the three different locations and dropping you off to explore on your own. We were a party of four and there was another couple that was also with us. We were jammed in this tiny car and it was extremely uncomfortable and hot to spend a day driving around, pressed in between other people for hours. I was not a happy camper. Driver took us to a restaurant for lunch that he said if we didn’t like our lunch, he would pay for it. Well i certainly wasn’t going to ask him to do that. However, it seriously was the worst meal I’ve had in Sicily. I ordered the swordfish and it was horrible. Long day, glad i saw the three towns but was rushed. Might be better off doing it on your own in the comfort of your own space.
