About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- DragonflyFarm0 contributionsBest Shore Excursion of Florence & PisaWe had a marvelous time on this shore excursion! Our driver, Diego, was wonderful! He was an excellent driver, entertaining, informative and very helpful. My husband had some mobility issues and Diego always made certain my husband was accommodated. We loved Diego! The tour guide in Florence was excellent. In spite of the inclement weather, lots of rain, she made Florence come alive for us. The visit to Accademia was fantastic! There were few of us in the area around Michelangelo’s David so our guide did a 360 degree explanation of the impressive sculpture. She noted that it is rare to be able to see David’s backside! What a view! Our guide directed us to more sights before she left us and suggested a nice cafe where my husband could settle in while the rest of us wandered around Florence. He thoroughly enjoyed people watching as well as drinking expressos! Diego gave us many interesting facts about Pisa and the leaning tower on the drive to the famous landmark. Diego was able to get us very close to the tower and told my husband about a cafe where he could still see the view but not walk. The rest of us wandered around the site to view the tower from all sides. All too soon it was time for the return trip to the ship. Diego shared so much more about Livorno and Tuscany during the drive. He had us laughing uproariously when he told us stories. Everyone of us were sorry we had to leave Diego at the side of the ship. What a driver and guide - he’s one in a million!Written January 8, 2024
- Trench500 contributionsSea, Volcano & HistoryTour knew our port was changed right when we did and adjusted the itenirary. Guide was very knowledgeable about the different areas. She also went out of her way to take us to the theatre in Taormina. Was one of the top days on entire trip.Written November 21, 2019
- rivergate10 contributionsWill be backMy tour guide Giovanni was by far one of the best tour guides I have had on any guided tour I have taken. He was so full of life and love for the history of Taormina and Catelmola. He made the trip extra special for all of us. He really made us feel like a family as she called us all day! I am so happy I decided to take the tour with Catania tour and got a chance to meet Giovanni while he showed us the true beauty and history of TaorminaWritten March 27, 2019
- alexiapendergrast0 contributionsGreat tour and great serviceOur cruise ship docked in Catania and we had just few hours to explore the suburbs. We decided to use this company and we have not been disappointed. Sergio took us to Mount Etna and to a fantastic winery and after we visited Taormina for a couple of hours. Everything was smooth and easy and Sergio is very knoledgble and friendly. Best tour of our cruiseWritten May 9, 2017
- VirRed-USA0 contributionsGreat tour of Etna and TaorminaMy husband and I arrived in Catania via cruise ship the past november and Mario was waiting for us with a big smile at the pier. It was an all-day tour and we really enjoyed every minute of Mario's commentary and knowledge and the overall his enthusiasm and sense of humor. When we first met Mario, he took a few minutes to get to know us and from that was able to quickly tailor our day. He hit a great job for use, especially because my husband has a mobility reduced an walk with a cane. Of our 9 days Mediterranean Cruise vacation our favorite day by far was the day we spent with Mario We cannot thank him enough for such a memorable day!Written January 20, 2017
- anaramirez20160 contributionsGreat experience with catania Tour and SergioThis was for shure the best shore excursion of our Mediterranean cruise. Our drtiver was Sergio, he is very informative and kind and moreover showed us something was not included in the main program. We visited first the Volcano Edna and than Taormina, before Sergio took us back on board he offered us a quick city tour of Catania. He moreover offered us soft drinks and some local pastries, very yummy. Price is more reasonable, especially compared with the shore excursion provided by the cruise company and the service is much more customized and fun.Written December 27, 2016
- fredbusques0 contributionsBest tour of the cruiseMy husband and I were with 16 others friends part of at tour in Sicily and we so pleased with the service Catania Tour provided on our cruise stop in Sicilyy. Thanks to the excellent service of Sergio and Mario we were able to see mount Etna, taormina and the amazing little village of Castelmola. I am so happy that I discovered them thanks to Trip Advisor. I highly recommend them.Written November 22, 2016
