If you I could give Walk Around Sicily a higher score, I would. We were in Catania for an all day cruise stop. Alas, all of the ship’s excursions to Taormina allowed for just three hours or less in this most awesome destination. We have been to Taormina many times and anything less than six hours is criminal. Time must be allowed for savoring the wonderful food, the great Etna wines, the sea and volcano views, the charming architecture, the shopping, the pretty Churches and the historical sites. Our driver from Catania to Taormina was outstanding. He was a very safe driver, always on time and very pleasant. We shared our van with five other people from our cruise ship so the price was very modest and an especially huge value when compared to ship pricing. Walk Around Sicily is highly recommended.

We were greeted at the Airport by Max, very nice and got us to our destination happy to start our Sicilian vacation. The return ride to the airport was also wonderful, right on time for the scheduled pickup at the hotel. Excellent trip. (I selected friends, but it is a family - 3 adults.) Our train from Naples went as far as Catania and we needed to get to the port in Pozzallo to catch the ferry to Malta. Alfredo met us on the platform at the train station and took us on our way in a very comfortable van. He was incredibly friendly and informative about Sicily. The trip is approx 1 hr, 20 mins. We wanted to stop for a bite to eat before the ferry and didn't have enough time for a full restaurant meal. He was able to recommend "fast food" (Sicilian style). We loved it!!! We tried a few different types of dishes at a pizzaria and even some Sicilian beer. Fabulous. We made it to the ferry terminal with time to spare. A 7 hr train ride may not be for everyone, but the scenery was fantastic. The train was fast, clean and comfortable - I'm so glad we did this instead of flying, but the car service was necessary to get to the ferry on our schedule. I was very impressed - the price was right and it was like having a private tour guide thrown in. Highly recommended!!!!!

This guy name Massimiliano,is driving better than God! He driving very careful,relaxing,safe,he knows every single spot in all sicily !!!!! Always avalable every where anytime,very honest guy,he drive a nice limo Mercedes clean like hell luxury car,but very honest price. When traveling in a new or unknown area, arranging a driver as professional as Max and his staff is a must! He was patiently waiting for us as promised, it was beyond a comfortable ride with stretch-out space, and he knew the area so well. Once I booked, my credit card gave me the contact details to arrange pickup directly with this company. Massimiliano responded quickly, and confirmed all details. As the date got closer I contacted him again, and he again reconfirmed and reassured me all was in order. Top tier car service that I recommend highly for any Sicily travel! Online booking was easy, with reasonable prices and good communication. Massimiliano was an excellent, courteous, and professional driver. The van was comfortable, roomy, and air conditioned. He even provided us with chilled water bottles on a hot day. We had a trip to Lipari and were thinking about various combinations/iterations, specially given the many public transportation options out from Catania to get us to Milazzo and then the ferry. We finally decided to use private transfer and Walk Around Sicily was the best team to do it with. Driver met us in terminal on arrival and vehicle was conveniently right outside the terminal building. Drive was smooth and we were able to get a good night's rest in Milazzo before taking the ferry the next day and making the most of day 1 on the island. We also used the same service on the return part to Taormina where we spent another week. Highly recommended
