Everything about our tour was perfect. Martino was a warm and considerate tour guide and driver. He picked us up at our hotel promptly and kept us updated on what to expect throughout. He was very considerate of us as passengers and tourists and it was a pleasure to spend the day with him. Luckily we had a perfect day to see the craters (no rain and no clouds while we were there). We stopped at the honey “farm” before heading to the Gambino Winery for lunch and a wine tasting. As with the tour and driver, the winery was beautiful, food and wine good, and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. An overall wonderful day!

We could not ask for a better host than Riccardo. He met us on time and drove us to each location. He was full of history, but also helped us with food tips, places to visit, and willing to answer at length any questions that we had. He gave us plenty of time to explore each site and was always available for logistics. You really can't get lost with Riccardo. He explains drop off points and pick up areas perfectly. We would highly recommend this adventure. But ask for Riccardo if you want the fullest experience!!

Our driver was excellent! He got us where we needed to be quickly and safely. He was very professional yet still personal. A wonderful experience.

We have visited before several years ago. Now the place is very touristy and expensive ! A lot of stairs made it impossible for two friends to see all the mosaics.

Our private taxi journey of more than 9 hours took us around all the major locations used in the TV series. Our driver Ricardo, was very knowledgeable both of the TV series and Sicilian life. In our journey we touched upon about every subject of modern Sicily as well as the history with Greek, Roman and Arab heritage. This tour is not just a change to experience the sets and locations used in the 1990s series, it's a chance to see inside Sicilian life. We thoroughly recommend it.

A personal tour with attention to detail from being picked up at our hotel at 8.30am through to being dropped off at 7.30pm- it was fantastic and worth every €. So much fitted in to one day with Giuseppe our guide a fountain of knowledge giving us a real local insight and knowledge of the geology, history and culture. A truly amazing experience. I'm from Rome, so I know very well my Roman art, architecture, etc., nevertheless, these are the most incredible mosaics I've ever seen. Definitely a must-see, well-worth travelling to Sicily just for them.

If you come from cruise, don't book from this website. They will still charge you in full, even you inform them the cruise ship cancel the docking cause of the weather conditions. Sure they 24hrs hours cancellation policy. But the cruse docking can not be sure even it is went to the last minute. This time I got inform by the captain of the cruise ship in the evening, so I contact this operator right away to cancel the next day tour. They insisted that is in 24hrs can not cancel the tour. So they just got the easy money with no any service provided! I wrote here, hope you will not get into the same situation.

Personal attention in comfortable sedan, local knowledge of sites and peoples of Mt Etna, casual conversation with locals, Martino was a gracious host, Bravo. No Cruise line queues!! Plenty of time for shopping in Taormina.

Very comfortable and safe ride. Riccardo was friendly and cordial. He knew a lot about different areas we passed during our ride. He also made some recommendations about some things that we can do during our stay on the island.

Never take a taxi in Sicily. They are just scammers! We had a 5min drive from our B&B until the Central Station and the taxi driver charged us 20 euros! It’s absolutely a scam! The whole island is like that. They just want to screw you up in any ways. To go to the airport is usually between 25 and 35 euros! How come a 5 min drive cost 20 bucks ? I would recommend to take the public transport, bus, instead of taxi. In addition to that, Uber is not working. Would have been nice to know the price before. For real the reason why Sicilian don’t want Uber is because they are just scammers! To be honest I will never go back to Catania ever again

Richard from Taxi Catania NCC, provided a perfect day for our family in Sicily. By the end of the day, he seemed like one of our family. He drove us to Mt. Etna and stopped at his favorite place to eat arancini along the way. His expert driving skills made us feel safe and his sense of humor and willingness to share his experiences kept us entertained. He also took us to Castelmola and Taormina, which are beautiful beyond description. If we are lucky enough to return to Sicily one day, Richard will be our guide of choice. His love for Sicily was evident and he taught us so much about this enchanting place. We enjoyed the Granita in Castelmola, the Pasta Alla Norma in Taormina and we would not have found any of these culinary delights with Richard.
