We have had the chance to try the tasting experience at Alagna Vini in Marsala and I have to say it was well worth the visit.
Starting from the place: there is a large parking space available for cars and buses, facilitating those who come by themselves or with organised tours.
The structure is very typical and interesting, with cellars being both above and below ground: we have been amazed by the historical wine cellar located below ground, excavated in tuff and bringing us back to how wine used to be made in the past.
The tasting room is spacious, well kept and the experience is nice: we have tried several wines, paired with snacks to better taste notes and flavours.
To top it all off, staff is professional, kind and available to accommodate requests where possible.
Bottom line:
- If you are in Marsala, we would recommend a visit
- Pro-tip: they produce a very particular type of Marsala wine, called “Vergine”: we had never had the chance to find it in any store we have visited, so we would absolutely recommend to get your hands on this bottle if you can!

If you are around Marsala, a stop at Alagna Vini is highly recommended. Great wine and great host Antonio- the best reasons for you to try one of their wine tasting experiences.
