The tour was really fun. The guide was professional and nice. We saw stunning and breathtaking views. We looked down on the landscape from above and also toured the cave and saw the sunset

Such a beautiful and unique experience we had today. Our guide, Monica, was so passionate and engaging throughout and clearly has a strong love for Etna and Catania. It was really lovely getting to know everything about the volcano and the little interesting stopovers along the way! An enriching experience and one that was worth absolutely every penny. We had a great time at the tour. We are not big fans of guided tours coz they can be boring but our tour guide Giuseppe was very passionate and knowledgeable and explained everything in a fun way with his drawings on the ground and making little volcano shapes in the sand. It was good fun as well as learning a bit about the area. There were only 4 of us which made it even better and more personal. I would highly recommend 😊

Really nice 6 hour round trip up Etna! Stopped for a wine and honey tasting on the way! So many nice views and photos all the way up the mountain, just a shame we go caught in the clouds and couldn't see the top! Tour guide was fantastic! Gave us displays and descriptions along the way on the history of the volcano!

It was a trip I will always remember! I went with my two girls ( 11 and 7yr old). We loved every part of the tour. Our guide Giuseppe shared so much information on the volcanoes. The more I learned about Mt. Etna, the safer I felt about being there. Meaning there are plenty of signals and time before you need to react to its type of eruptions. And learning our guide lives pretty close to it put me at ease also. I enjoyed the views of older lava flows and the stories of the more recent eruptions. The walk uphill is moderate and coming down Giuseppe was more then willing to assist anyone who needed more balance as we walked and slid a little down hill on the loose lava terrain. A walking stick may be preferable for some people. I would recommend this to everyone who wants to explore a part of the Earth that shows so much evidence of its power without getting too close to the top! Thanks again Giuseppe!

I contacted Etnavic re a sunset tour of Etna. Ludovico texted me back very quickly confirming he would be able to do the tour on our requested date and time. I chose a tour which didn’t involve too much walking as I was recovering from a broken foot. Sebastian was our guide. Part of our tour was a visit to a magma cave which was a bit challenging but worth it. The view of Etna and the valley was awe inspiring and the sunset was amazing. Sebastian was a really good guide, very knowledgable and passionate about his job. We felt that this tour was perfect for us. Communication with us was very good and we were picked up near our hotel on time.

Our guide Monica provided excellent background information on Etna and explained the chronology of the major events in Etna's history. Although it was cloudy on the evening of our tour so no sunset to speak of she made the trip interesting. The trip into a lava flow cave was really good and when one of the group didn't feel comfortable in the cave Monica ensured her wellbeing was a priority.

Very pleasant tour, I recommend this light version for those who have health problems or are not used to long walks.
