Also told me that we would leave in 20 minutes. 45 minutes later and having to deal with an angry and aggressive driver makes this a nightmare

We did three tours with Tourist Dream. Firstly the customer service was exceptional. Karim and Fabiana in the office were extremely helpful with a lot of local knowledge and couldn’t do enough for us. We were even able to store luggage for a small fee. The tours themselves were so good.. Marco and Raphael were very good drivers and we loved Franco’s serenading and sing alongs on the way back to Catania. We loved the places we visited, Siracusa, Ortigia, Noto, Taormina, Castelmola and Isola Bella and all of Catania. Would highly recommend using tourists dream for tours in Catania. 💯

We went on the Tourist Dream Catania city train tour. Despite being told it was in English and the driver asking us if we were English, it was not. We were therefore stuck on a noisy uncomfortable trip in lots of traffic and learned absolutely nothing. I understand that mistakes happen and the driver forgot to put the correct audio on but what was really shocking was the way we were treated when leaving the train. I raised with the ticket seller what had happened. His first response was to say that it was in English and that I had just not been listening properly! If I’d paid attention like other people I’d have heard it in English! I was completely shocked at his rudeness and said that I would like a discount ( not all of the money back) as we had learned absolutely nothing and actually sat through a pretty uncomfortable ride. The ticket seller continued to say I was wrong and that it had been in English, even when the driver came over and apologised for not putting the English audio - I actually felt pretty sorry for him and would have left it at that if the ticket seller had not continued to call me a liar and ‘woman’ repeatedly. Eventually he sent me to the main office to speak to them. They said that tickets were ‘non refundable’ and did not grasp the concept of not getting what you pay for. I was offered another trip the next day but I was leaving for the airport straight after and quite frankly did not want to sit through another uncomfortable journey breathing in traffic fumes even if i wasn’t. Rarely have I encountered such rudeness and shocking customer service when so blatantly had not got what we had paid. Having read lots of reviews about this company on here it seems that customer service is of no concern to them. They don’t care about poor trip advisor reviews, they told me to go ahead and review. I have only ever done this once before but am so cross at their disgusting behaviour towards customers that I have been so compelled to write this. It seems like it’s a common story with this company sadly.

The day before the tour, I checked to see that all was well. Was told it was - and then two hours later you cancelled me by text! I was unable to do this tour at all during my stay! I did a different one but your driver took us to the Valley of the Temples for three hours in intense heat instead of going there earlier in the day. My other tours with other companies were far superior and I shall be telling everyone to avoid you. All these advertisements - BOOK NOW - FILLING UP SOON - total rubbish.

in all my trips i have never seen something like this-- THIS IS NOT A TOUR!!!!!!!! only a taxi!!!!!! make your maths and take it if you need a shared taxi,which what it is!!!! the driver ,who has not introduced himself, never said hello or goodbye, does not care about anyone just write on a paper the hour you must be back...... those people has to work anyhing else but not in tourism!

It's just a taxi! Awful driver Franco who does not mind the tourists, just puts loud his music as he had a transportation of potatoes! Those people must not work in tourism! Please have in mind, this is not a tour, no explanation provided, no nothing.... Only a tough man minding his business.....

I had a total bad experience with this tour company. First of all, they show you a bus with windows but although I arrived 15 min before take off, i had to go on the very back seat which didn't have windows. As soon as I got on the bus i expressed my disappointment to the driver but there was no solution. I was going to get off and ask my money back but later i thought, on the way back i can come to the bus earlier and at least on the way back i can see around. And that's what I did, on the way back, i sat on a seat with window, like everyone else did. But the last arriving person got crazy because the only seat empty was on the back. That ignorant crazy lady came close to my ear and started shouting me in Italian. The driver just wanted to calm down the situation so he begged me to go back and he told me it was her seat. But no one actually owned a seat. I went back, to not be part of this community who solve their problems by shouting even if they are wrong. When we reached Catania, i went to the tour office and explained my bad experience, and also cancelled the other tour i booked. All they could do was to apologize again and again, but they did nothing else for a customer's deserved compensation. Besides this bad experience, the audio guide consists of music in general, very few information, and the indications are not in the correct place. Not recommended!

We loved Taormina, beautiful town. The full trip is great when staying for a few days in Catania. On our stop at Isola Bella some people from the group complained about the stop being so short. It was a total misunderstanding, the driver was very kind and flexible on how we wanted to stretch our stops and we appreciated that. Very well organized by Tourist Dream, a big thanks to Michela for taking us through all the options on what to visit and helping arrange our return home on the last day.

Loved the fact that we were allowed to explore on our own and go where we wanted to go without any pressure to adhere with a group. Comfortable bus with a great driver.

This is just a bus ride, there is no additional information, or guidance recieved. I was told by the people selling the tickets that information would be provided with an audioguide as we travelled and I would therefore learn something about where we are going but upon asking the driver about this he acted like didn't know what I was talking about. He took us to each destination, dumped as at the roadside and gave us zero information about where to go or where we even were (although we could decipher that ourself). There wasn't so much as a "This is Taormina." You are better off renting a car for the day and taking yourself on the tour, or better still, using a different company who care about what they are providing to their paying customers. When I went to the ticket office when we got back to Catania and explained to the, the driver pretended that there had been information coming out the speakers, so yes, he then tried to gaslight his customers. The only thing coming out of the speakers was painfully bad elevator music. They offered a discounted tour for the next day, but I politetly declined.

The van was nice, we had some information through the speakers. Practically there was a driver who took us to the places to visit with no guide. The driver drove like he was carrying a sack of patatoes, not humans. It was a good experience because we visited 3 places in just one day.

We experienced a misunderstanding, causing us to pay for the cable railway to go to the top of mount Etna without using it. The bus driver, Alessandro, was extremely understanding and helped us to get the money back. Top service and a very nice experience.

Our trip in Siracuse was great ! We have traveled in a big black Van like a boss! Ortigia was fantastic and clean city's. The tour that offer this company is very cool we have stayed in Siracuse Ortigia and noto. thanks to our Driver Robert very cool and friendly driver!

They sold us a tour to Mt Etna, Taormina and Isola Bella. They finally skipped Isola Bella, because they poorly organised their timing and it was dark by the time we arrived at Isola Bella. I contacted them after the tour and they pretend that they replaced that stop by another one, which is not true. When I replied to tell them that it wasn't true, they said that the driver still played the audioguide of Isola Bella on the radio, even if we couldn't visit the site. I'm sorry, but hearing an audioguide is not equivalent to visiting a site. Very poor after-sale service.

We took a tour from Catania to Taormina, but instead they took us before to mount Etna and we spent pretty much all of our tour in that horrible place. By the time we got to Taormina we only had time to eat something quick and go back to the meeting point. I would suggest to spend a lot less time in mount Etna and much more time in Taormina or not going to mount Etna at all.
