About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- kahu7370 contributionsdriver was a mummythis is nothing more than a ride around olbia in the back of a tuk tuk w a loud pre recorded tour. driver was nice but never said TWO WORDS just pressed the button for the recording sounded at various stops. people dining or sightseeing seemed annoyed with the invasion. then a trip to the beach for an hour of “free time”. overpriced and no personal touchWritten September 29, 2024
- P4117EOlauraq0 contributionsSaw the sights and VIP yachts at Porto Cerbo!Porto Cervo and the surrounding area is what I wanted to see. Visiting Olbia without a car makes a trip to the Costa Smeralda very difficult. I joined this quick day tour and definitely got to hop in and out of tiny cities, coves and ‘calas’ very efficiently. We didn’t have a lunch stop so grab something quickly in one of the towns or bring yourself a snack. The tour lasted from 10am-2pm. It was worth the ticket price. Van had good AC. Very efficient tour agency.Written September 4, 2024
- X7549BWjeremyb0 contributionsLovely, but pricey.A lovely experience, nice ride around the narrow streets before being taken to the winery to enjoy small samples of locally produced wine accompanied with cheeses. But, it is very pricey for what you get, I think £70-80 per person would be acceptable.Written July 22, 2024
- Travel439970 contributionsGreat Overview TourWonderful way to get an overview of the area. The information is pre-recorded so easy to understand. Driver and assistant were very helpful and the communication before the tour was excellent. We were on a cruise, so this was a great option for us.Written July 16, 2024
- 933lilianak0 contributionsExcellentA fun way to see some of hidden gems of olbia. Our guide was amazing. Greeted us with a genuine friendly smile. Very informative and good company through out the trip. We were so pleased to have sone thisWritten June 27, 2024
- Nicci3540 contributionstuk tuk olbiaIt was quite pleasant, nothing to write home about , most places were well within walking distance if you are on a budget, but okWritten May 22, 2024
- Frances L0 contributionsDescription was misleadingThis tour was not what we expected based on the description we assumed this was going to be a tour around the local wineries in the area. It turned out we paid for a tuk tuk, ride from the port to one winery where we sat down and the hostess brought us, three different kinds of wines with a plate of some cold cuts, and then we rushed through a small tour of the winery got back on the tuk tuk and drove back to our car. This tour is not worth the value it felt rushed we could have taken an Uber for have the price of this tour. The winery hosted was very nice that’s the only reason we give this 3 stars instead of 2 for poor!Written May 18, 2024
- KarinW19700 contributionsA great way to explore Olbia! The Ape Romantic Tour tour is a very enjoyable way to explore Olbia, especially if you only have a few hours. We only had one night and one day in Olbia before flying home and had already returned the rented car. We chose the long tour so that we could also spend some time at the beautiful Pittulongu Beach. Alessio was punctual and very friendly, he was also a good and careful driver. We always do tuk tuk tours, where available. It's a excellent way to explore new places, especially places with narrow streets or places you cannot go by car. This is the first time we had a tour using an audio guide to explain the various sites. Also great way to do it! It was just the right amount of information and you could choose your language. We would have preferred to make a short stop or at least slow down more at the sites to listen to the information, as things fly by and the engine of our tuk tuk was really loud, so we couldn’t always understand everything. Other than that, everything was perfect! We very much enjoyed the tour with Alessio and can warmly recommend it!Written May 17, 2024
- Terryooo0 contributionsTuk. for an hourDone the Full Island your before so rather than many hours on a bus again or an open top bus tour we booked a Tuk Tuk for two people _ the Tuks will hold three people and the company appeared to have a second vehicle which did have three people on board _ we went in convoy and visited some back street places that would be hard to find _ it's only an hour-long and there is some commentary as you go but extremely good value for about £15 each when we booked it _ if you want to do something jusa little different _ the Tuks will normally be waiting at the end of the port terminal where the shuttle buses drop off the cruise customers _just acrosś the road from the Local Town Hall where you can also catch the little white road train.Written April 16, 2024

- Cora C0 contributionsGreat Corsican food! And a nice way to get to know the area. The tour was great! The food was extraordinary! As English speakers with very little French, it was a little difficult to understand information presented. There was some confusion about the posted meeting point. We were waiting at the address provided for awhile before learning our guide was waiting for us about 150 meters down the hill. It all worked out perfectly in the end!Written November 3, 2023
- Guide6805000 contributionsok. The information provided for pick up in Olbia wasn't very good, we were questioning the location and weren't really getting much help. The vineyard was good however we were rushed out at the end so unbale to purchase any wine. We asked the tuk tuk driver to help us find a taxi to head back to San Teodoro and we were dropped back in car park of the pick up location and told that a taxi rank was there and is wasn't. We feel the tour company could have been more helpful.Written October 10, 2023
- Antonia B0 contributionsFun and informative!Had a great time on the wine tour. The tuk tuk was a bonus and gave us a little tour around Olbia which was really interesting.Written September 22, 2023

What a lovely fun way to spend an hour and learn a bit about Olbia too ! Alessio was charming and funny and showed us some of the lesser known sights as we zoomed round in his TukTuk - highly recommend as a great way to see a bit of the city ! Mxx
