      Lovely introduction to Sardinia!!
Wonderful itinerary planned for us so we could spend some time in a city( Cagliari), time in the countryside at a Nuraghe, and beach time (Golfo di Orosei). It was well planned, the hotels they chose for us were great, and our week in Sardinia was perfect!! Highly recommend their services!!

      Expensive
Motus travel is outrageously expensive. I was quoted 600 euros per day for a driver his accommodation and his food. I still have to add my accommodation, food and activities. Am I missing something.

      Sardinia, the Undiscovered Country
We were so fortunate to meet Mario DeIitala of Motus Travel through our good friend and travel guide, Sabrina Scaglianti. Mario arranged our entire 20 day April trip in Sardinia creating an wonderful itinerary that included city tours, a mountain hike, spending time in the Blue Zone, two boat trips and lovely accommodations. Our trip planning started last November when we initially contacted Mario via email. He developed an initial itinerary based on our interests and we refined it together during several Zoom calls over the next few months. Mario's advice made our first trip to Sardinia a wonderful experience and one we will not forget. And, we will definitely use Mario's services for our next trip to Sardinia!!!!

      Sardinia, the hidden gem
We spent 11 glorious days arranged by Travel Motus. We are an active senior couple who want a bit of adventure, and who don’t want to deal with travel logistics. Mario, the owner of Travel Motus, produced a great vacation. We visited a Blue Zone family, had a romantic beach get away at Santa Maria Navarrese, swimming in clear blue-green water, and a sailing day in Alghero. We stayed focused on our vacation. Mario booked hotels and arranged fun guides and drivers; and he handled changes easily. For two days, a Blue Zone family showed us how they work, the town they live in and how to make bread, pasta and ravioli. We ate dinner with 20 relatives, friends and whomever. It was great fun.

An Amazing Tour with an Amazing Guide
After unsuccessful attempts to find a reliable travel consultant to tailor a personal tour in Sardegna, I was fortunate to find Motus Travel. My main interest was to visit the Garibaldi Museum on Isola Caprera, but I wanted to take advantage of learning as much as possible about the art, culture, history, and foods of Sardegna. Within a very short period of time, Manager of Operations, Paola Marras, designed an amazing, rich, meaningful, comprehensive 4-day tour, greatly exceeding my expectations. Guide/driver Laura Sedda, an archaeologist, provided information and insight to help me understand and appreciate the culture and history, while meeting Sardegnians and experiencing sights, sounds, flavors, and aromas encompassing the natural beauty of the land and the people. Laura is the perfect guide: passionate, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. I left Sardegna with wonderful memories and the hope to return to pick up where I left off!

      Fabulous trip!
Discovering Sardinia and Corsica with Travel Motus was wonderful. We were sailing to Malta from Naples, Italy, and thought should visit Sardinia while we were in the area. I contacted Travel Motus via email to see what they suggested, and thus began a correspondence that resulted in my husband and I visiting both Sardinia and Corsica. We asked for 3-star hotels located in town so we could walk to dinner and shopping. Delivered beautifully with lovely hotels perfectly located. We asked for a private tour with a car and driver. Delivered with a wonderful guides, one of whom was also an archeologist. We wanted to not only see both islands but experience the culture and people. Delivered with wonderful itineraries, breathtaking sights, and unforgettable experiences with local people. We could not have asked for more. Really. These folks are highly professional, very knowledgeable and experienced -- and also very thoughtful and attentive. We give Travel Motus our highest and strongest recommendation.

      An unforgettable experience
Most memorable potion of our Italian trip. Contacted Motus Travel to arrange a 5 day trip prior to joining a group tour in Amalfi. My wife and I were led by Francesca who gave us an authentic experience of Sardinia which we would have never been able to attain. We stayed two nights in Alghero, the region with a beautiful shoreline and the red coral capital and stayed two nights in Aritzo a mountain village of 1000 inhabitants. We experienced cooking local dishes and visiting ancient Nuraghes which exist only in Sardinia. Grazie mille Travel Motus

Amazing travel agent!!! Motus made our trip!
Mario from Motus Travel helped us put together and book an amazing trip to Sardinia this summer. The service was absolutely fantastic! Mario is extremely knowledgeable, and recommended such beautiful hotels, great restaurants, and experiences to us. He booked two different boat tours for us, and three very different and special hotels that were exactly what we love most. In addition he was so flexible to accommodate for our time zone difference of nine hours. He worked with us, and got on the phone during his off hours to answer all our questions. We still dream of this vacation, and can’t wait to return to Sardinia. We will definitely book with Mario again next time, and we recommended Motus to all our friends.

      Tutti perfetti
Paolo and Mario arranged for me an absolutely perfect itinerary for my requests. Everything went flawlessly including all the car pickups. They chose hotels well and were both quick and efficient. I cannot recommend them highly enough, especially as I was in their business once and have been traveling for 57 years. they're the best!

      Beautiful Sardinia!
We contacted Travel Motus several months ago, to help us plan our 9 day visit to Sardinia. We just returned home, and are pleased to report Paola, Travel Motus and Sardinia exceeded our expectations in every respect. Our trip was just for my wife and me. Two days in Cagliari (with the help of Francesca who picked us up at the airport and showed us the highlights of this wonderful region). Beginning the third day we retrieved our rental car and were on our own (aided by our detailed itinerary, carefully annotated map, daily lunch recommendations and dinner reservations for every evening). To summarize, Sardinia is among the most beautiful places we’ve ever been. The people are friendly and always anxious to help, the food is amazing, the prices lower than we expected and the beaches among the most beautiful. Easy drives on good roads, well directed by Waze and Google Maps. Wonderful opportunities to see examples of arts, archeological sites and learn the fascinating history of this glorious island. We requested small upscale boutique hotels and couldn’t be happier with Paola’s recommendations. Each was unique with friendly and helpful staffs. We had no difficulty either finding English speakers or even more fun - communicating with gestures and making ourselves understood. We are happy with our decision to schedule our visit in early September - weather was spectacular every day, but the summer crowds were absent. Italy is our favorite country to visit, and before this trip Sicily was our favorite destination. That’s now changed - Sardinia tops our list.

Tour of Sardinia and blue zone
Mario of Travel Motus was very responsive and put together a private tour of the Sardinia blue zone with an excellent tour guide Claudio and wife Beata who went above and beyond expectations. The tour included the classic blue zone village of Villa Grande where I spoke with a number of residents including a centenarian of 102 years. I had a visit to the town hall where detailed records of the births deaths and marriages of the residents were kept and a visit to the Blue Zone Cafe. We ate at a restaurant with excellent food locally. We visited the countryside where there were spectacular views as well as old historic Stone Towers from up to 2,000+ years ago. Sardinia is an incredible place with fabulous food clean air and and very friendly people. Next we visited a historic town Mamoiada where there's a museum which showed the history of the people of Sardinia and the long-standing tradition of Carnival that still occurs in February. We stayed at a hotel that was very comfortable and had excellent food and fantastic wine. We visited a Vineyard and had wonderful wine tasting. A highlight was lunch at the top of a small Mountain where traditional Sardinian food including sickling Pig, mutton, cured meats, cheeses and wine along with Entertainment of traditional Sardinian music took place. We visited a historic town which stood up to the Italian military from taking their land unjustly for a military base with lovely small shops where one can buy souvenirs and lots of wall murals depicting the historic struggle against the military. We took a quick detour to the seaside then went on to another Village where I participated in making pasta and learned about the way they make the traditional Sardinian flatbread called Pan carasau. I had the pleasure of meeting the tour guides mother and father who ran this Bakery and had the opportunity to have a home cooked meal which was of course delicious! The hotel we stayed on the Mountaintop had a spectacular View with fantastic food which also cater to german-speaking visitors. I was able to see their cheese making process. All in all, it was the most wonderful tour experience I've ever had! I took a small camera with me and took the dots of great pictures however don't have many pictures on my phone for this review. Just a few pictures of delicious food at the restaurant near Villa Grande.

The cooking course takes place in a beautiful B’B in cosy Banari. The day was adjusted to our wishes. After a very warm welcome we went to a paneria and heard a bit about their business. Afterwards we started with making pasta. We had such a great time. The whole family was involved. Even the nonna joined at one point and showed us how to make Banari Gnocchetti. Our son Jona was entertained by everyone. We felt so welcome and learned a lot. The food was great. We can definitely recommend the course and a visit to the B&B s’Asilo. Thank you so much.
