Francesca & her choice of Sardinian farm agroturismo Baccu Carda made our trip! 😍
We went with Francesca to a wonderful farm-based agroturismo Baccu Carda close to Cagliari. The whole experience was amazing, from visiting the animals with the landowner, to the beautiful setting, spotless facilities & delicious meal sourced entirely on-site. But most of all we loved Francesca’s company. She is sweet, funny and a great conversationalist. Francesca also went above & beyond to show us interesting architectural sights on the way & is extremely intelligent. She knows everything-from botany to archaeology to pop culture 😊 We travel frequently & she is one of the top tour guides we have ever had, anywhere in the world. If I could give her 100 stars ⭐️ I would!

    Magpie’s Magical Introduction to Cagliari.
This walking tour around the Castella in the old town of Cagliari was led by our guide Maggie. A good tour is dependant on a good guide and Maggie was a great guide. She has a deep interest in history and she shared her knowledge on this topic in a way that was both comprehensive and engaging. She explained the historical legacy of the Phoenecians, Carthagians, Romans concluding with the impact of the 2nd World War on the city. The architecture of the streets, walls and principal buildings were also explained. Her narrative was intertwined with interesting asides, witty observations and humorous interactions. Good suggestions were also given by Maggie on other places to visit, eat and shop and she handled all questions and queries in a thoughtful and respectful manner. Such was our interest that time flew by on this two-hour walking trip. A lovely introduction to the city, thank you Maggie.

    Walking Tour with Francesca
Our guide, Francesca, was well-informed and interesting, as well as a great source of recommendations for beaches and local restaurants for the smaller town we were based in. She easily adjusted her pace to suit our (much older!) walking speed. Highly recommend! Kay & Michael

    Totally worth it!
Totally worth it. I don’t take tours generally but wanted some expert help with the Nuraghe, and our guide Francesca was wonderful. Totally worth doing.

A great day at Su Nuraxi of Barumini
We had a very knowledgeable, friendly and communicative guide. In addition the car was very clean, almost new and the driver very good! When we wanted to stop for food they made sure to arrange that.

    Fabulous site and tour guide
It looks like this tour is the best and the cheapest. Francesca was a fantastic tour guide and told us lots of history we did not know. She was punctual and picked us up at our hotel. There were only two of us so we went in a comfortable car and she told us about the island as we drove through villages and the countryside. The site itself is not to be missed and most impressive. We realised, because of the bus times from Cagliati (afternoons) it would have been impossible to get there and back in a day and hard to reach. Francesca was like a friend showing us round and a lovely intelligent young woman. Do not miss!

Really good trip. Fabio was a great guide with perfect English. He pointed out interesting features on the road to Nora and even stopped so we could see the famous flamingos. His knowledge of the history of Nora was very in depth and he explained the site very well. Also cares for us well in the hot Italian sun!

    Fantastic Tour!
Be swept away in the rich history of this ancient city dating back to the Neolithic to its current modern day charm. Our guide Anna was as insightful as she was animated while guiding us though narrow pathways to spectacular vista views. History mixed with folklore made this tour extra special! Thank-you Anna!

To be honest for me the tour wasn’t worth its money, we were guided into 3 different tunnels, where we got some information first in Italian and then in English. So we had to listen to the guide speak in two languages because there were Italian people in our group. When arriving we had to pay 5€ per person extra, so we could enter the caves. It was written on the site, but I believe not really obvious, cause I didn’t see it.
Yeah so, I don’t think the price ist justified.

We booked the combined tour of underground an castello and spent more than 4 hours with Francesco, our guide. As we're not used to walk that much, our feet and those of our kids were a little hurting at the end of our tour 😅... but we were very satisfied because it was just amazing and very very interesting!
Francesca, our guide, was very kind and very professional and we could feel at any time that she absolutely loves her job!

Absolutely amazing! A completely different experience from what you might be used to regarding city tours. Francesca is a great guide and more importantly an amazing person, therefore spending a couple of hours with her was a great pleasure. We have learned a lot about the history of Cagliari and Sardinia in a very user-friendly form and there was a plenty of unexpected fun facts which were actually fun. We are very happy for this experience and we strongly recommend it to everyone.

Silvia was an excellent guide. The tour is well thought out and you see a wide variety of underground sections in Cagliari.

3 separate spots on our tour, spanning very different periods of time.

Silvia clearly very passionate about her tours and happy to answer our questions.

Would highly recommend if you’re in the area and interested in history.

If you’re a bit of a history buff I’d suggest visiting the Archaeological museum in the Castello the day before you go on this tour, as it will set you up fully to appreciate what Silvia is showing you.

Also the Cathedral is close to the Archaeological museum so double whammy.

Silvia was our guide, she was very friendly and knowledgable. The tour itself is very unique and interesting. My 7 year old was very engaged with the guide and she did a good job at getting everyone involved in the tour. For a walking tour it was the right amount of walking, not too much and too little. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the city who has some interest in history.

Our tour started twenty minutes late which was an issue for us and another couple as we had commitments straight afterwards and we were unable to see the final attraction. The guide was very knowledgeable however their English was extremely difficult to understand and after each point of interest everything was then repeated in Italian which delayed things even further, even though the booking advised this tour would be in English.
Despite this, the underground tunnels and crypt were really interesting and worth seeing.

A fascinating tour with an exclusive underground visit to a WW2 bunker under a school. Also a guided talk to other public underground exhibits. The guide was very knowledgeable though her English was a little difficult to catch at speed. You need good shoes and not suffer from claustrophobia. Would recommend.

I went with my boyfriend and we had a lovely tour guide (unfortunately we don’t remember her name) who was very informative and spoke English very well. The tour is a good way to learn more about the history of Cagliari as well as being a great way to see everything underground. Our tour guide also gave a great recommendation for a restaurant which was lovely.

This was our first time in Europe, and we had been shopping around for something that showed some art, history, and cuisine. We weren't sure what to expect, but this was definitely one of the highlights of our time in Sardinia. The tour was engaging and unique, and it ended with a food and wine tasting that definitely tied together the experience. From ancient Rome to WWII, this was an engaging and memorable experience. The tour guide was learned and kind as well. I would recommend this experience to anyone.
