Very friendly guidance from Guide Roberto, who took the time to update us on the history of this handsome island during the tour. Also took enough time to teach us how to master the Segways, much focus also on safety.
The flamingos are indicated as the highlight of the tour, but the number we could spot was somewhat disappointing (about 15). But hey, you can't control nature...
But the experience was sometimes worth it.

Amazing time with Luca who was very patient until ensuring we were ready to ride the segways. His general knowledge is fabulous and obviously passionate about Sardinia which was fabulous. Great time and saw plenty of beautiful flamingos as well as the port area and surrounding places. Amazing.

We were spoilt by Andreas who took us to see the flamingoes. We were carefully trained and helped round the city as we left and then mostly travelled on cycle paths alongside the marina and then canal into the ex-sea salt harvesting area/now bird sanctuary. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and interesting and knew where to stop to show us the best bits. Taking photos, answering questions and taking us for a drink on the return journey (part of the standard tour) - Nothing was too much trouble and we would highly recommend. Great way to see the flamingoes and see Cagliari and the ex-sea salt industry in what is now a bird sanctuary. My teenager loved it.

We selected the Flamingos tour because my wife wanted to see the flamingos but thanks to our very friendly guide Andrea we got several info about the city and Sardinia’s history too. We rode around 20kms with the segways, had a small break with coffe and bevarages included in the price. We also saw the beautiful flamingos in several places. I can definitely recommend this tour. Even if you never rode a segway you can go as there is a small tutorial at the begining so you quickly get the hang of it.

Great time riding on the New Way Segway tour. We went for the Flamingo tour and it was really great fun. Good instructions are given and you feel confident before you leave the port-side that you can handle the Segway. It is pretty flat, some great scenary and great to have the commentary in your ear. Thanks.

Hardly any flamingoes, despite assurances they were there 'all year round'. Guide suggested we zoom to see them better and was slightly offensive regarding age, nationality and competence with the segway. Using a segway for the first time should be fun for everybody. It's a great business for Ivo, he prefers payment in cash and organising via whatsapp.. The online description generated an expectation which wasn't matched by the experience; it is not worth the price.

Thank you for leaving your review.
I have been offering segway tours since 2009 and we do it with great passion. After two years of closure forced by Covid we are restarting with great difficulty but a lot of enthusiasm and we are sorry to read that you were not satisfied. Flamingos live wild in the park and we often see them very close ...
I am the first who would like to see flamingos always very close but this is the charm of nature, sometimes a little unpredictable! They are animals that live in freedom, we cannot know when they are close to the shore of the lagoon but we can only enjoy their beauty every time we reach the park.

We have just enjoyed two Segway tours with out guide Ivo. He was amazing, very knowledgeable and found the best places to stop to take photos. Out first tour was around the town. With a full 2.5 hrs we went up, down and around the old and new town. The best way to see it as there is a lot to see and quite hilly so this is the quick and easy way and by far the most enjoyable. Was a. It nervous at first as we have never been in a Segway but we had tuition before hand and was confident in no time at all. It was so good we went out again the next day to see the Flamingos and the beach along with the port. So my fun. Would recommend definitely.

Luka was very informative and helpful. You start from city centre and go all the way to molentargius. Guide even brought binoculars to watch flamingos. Very fun couple of hours.

Hallo, wir kommen am 02.09. 13 Uhr mit dem Schiff an. Ist der Ausflug auch ab dem Hafen möglich? Ist die Führung auch in deutscher Sprache möglich?

HI
is there any flexibility on departure times please?
our cruise stop is 9am - 5pm so neither time really works with that, as by the time we allow for any delays and also disembarking from boat we would miss the morning start time, and the afternoon one doesn't give enough time to get back and on board.
thanks
Alice
