We got to visit 3 cities in our 7 hour van/walking tour. Our driver gave us fresh focaccia for lunch. Of course, our highlight was Aerobello, the village of the trulli houses. She showed me poligano a mare but first I went to the cave which was a good walk then we went to the beach area! beautiful! I didn't do coffee tasting as it had alcohol. but I didn't mind that. we went to eat at the most delicious restaurant and we chatted about all sorts of different things! Michaela is a lovely person very open minded very kind. I hope to have her for my future trips again. she is so nice and her price is very fair! unlike other tour agents!Written March 6, 2020

We had the chance to experience a very private tour in the most typical part of Alberobello, and also made a quick stopover in the CItta Vecchia of Bari, to see the "Mammas" prepare the delicious Orecchiette and tasted to most delicious Gelati of Bari. She did such a great job explaining the history of the area and answering our questions. Luckily Puglia tours offered a custom made guided city walk and really gave us the feeling to have experienced Bari. The guide was friendly, quiet (in a positive way), spoke clear and enthusiastic. The first we set out in the rain on New Years Day into the old city in Bari including seeing some of the ladies making the orechietti in their homes and learning about some of the history of the area and a visit to the churches. On the second day, Mihaela took us out of Bari to a small winery, a dairy farm where we had an incredible lunch and amazing experience with the master cheese maker, a drive to Alberobello which was also outstanding, and then a brief stop in Polignano where again we braved the rain and crazy wind to get a glimpse of this beautiful area. We didn't know much about the region and decided to do a day tour with Puglia Tours. Our guide Mihaela was incredibly friendly and made us very comfortable. She showed us lots of beautiful parts of Bari from the Old Town to the Fishermen's market. In addition, we went olive oil tasting and experienced numerous Italian delicacies and wine. Lastly we saw some Trulli buildings (highly recommended) and experienced the picturesque coast of Polignano a Mare. All throughout the journey Mihaela didn't act like a tour guide. She was just fun to hang out with and that made the experience extra special. I would highly recommend Puglia Tours to anyone looking for an authentic experience of Puglia :)Written June 15, 2016

We went through The Old Town of Bari learning about the history , traditions and culture. We had a fantastic guide called Mihaela who knew great knowledge about all. The tour was around 2 hours , we sampled food and wine at one of the local shops , visited many of the churches and castle. I had a lovely time and would recommend this tour to explore Puglia with! - Freek W0 contributionsAmazing tourWe booked a tour the first week of march for 6 people. We were picked up at 11:00 by the tourguide Mihaela at our appartment with a minivan which drove us around Puglia. Everywhere we visited Mihaela told us something about the local history and culture. First we visited an actual oliveoil factory and were able to watch the process and taste the oil. Next we visited Alberobello with the characteristic Trulli and had a winetasting with different wines from the area and homemade liquor, accompanied by delicious bites, afterwards we were able to buy some of these local wines. Next up was Polignano a Mare, a beautiful place on the coast of Puglia. By the time we arrived back at our appartment it was 19:00 and had had an incredible day. Especially since Bari itself is not the most amazing town we have been to, this really increased our overall experience. Thanks Mihaela!Written March 24, 2016
