- 1Bassano Del GrappaStop: 3 hoursDeparture from your hotel in Vicenza, Padua, Abano Terme. Guided visit of Bassano del Grappa, famous for the Grappa spirit production and for being the city of the Alpini Soldiers. One of the most beautiful monuments of Bassano del Grappa is the wooden Bridge, called The Bridge of the Alpini Soldiers (project of Andrea Palladio). The guide will take you along the narrow roads of this small city that is a symbol of WW1. Many Austrian and Italian soldiers battled in the mountains near the city of Bassano and, still today, you can see the “scars” of those battles. At the end of the visit, you will stop at the Grappa Museum Poli. The Poli Grappa Museum is the result of a long and passionate research, the Museum was created by the Poli Family in appreciation of Grappa. The Museum consists of five suggestive rooms and visits are self-guided. Finally, you will taste Grappa spirit, enjoying its different flavours. During or after the guided visit, you will have the possibility to stop at some of the many shops of Bassano, to buy souvenirs and handmade ceramics (yes… Bassano is famous for ceramics, too!). Availability, morning or afternoon (3 hours). Tour starts with minimum 4 passengers. Departures from Hotels and RWstations of Vicenza, Padua, Abano/MontegrottoRead more

- Raychxuu00GoodVicenza is a perfect place for art lovers. Its small enough to walk to many places and has excellent shopping choice on Viale Palladio. Sadly there are plenty of bars but the choice of restaurents is pitifully small, many offering identical menus.
- Peggy T00Artistry GiottoI went on this tour with my colleagues. Though it is a small place but it is filled with wonder. The church is so well preserved. Before you get into the church, you will be invited to watch a documentary about it. With the knowledge from the documentary, you can better appreciate the art work you see on the walls and ceiling of the church. It depicts the story of God, sharing also about heaven and hell. I kind of feel the difference of this church as most of the churches though may have the story of Jesus but this is the first one that also have an art piece on hell. Other than the main church, the remaining "castle wall" is another great attraction especially when it is filled with artistics piece/objects. Just outside the cafe, you can also immense yourself with the historical remains. Pieces of wall, etc. with short explanation are available for your further exploration.
- John_HFortSmith_AR00Ideal format to see the Scrovegni ChapelMy wife and I found this tour was a pleasant way to familiarize ourselves with Padua. The Srovegni Chapel is a must for Renaissance art lovers. The guided tour format is ideal for understanding Giotto's work as you are limited to a 15 minute period inside the Chapel. Our guide Tiziana used this time superbly to point out each panel and the important features. Great memories!
- Deedee852200Teatro OlimpicoSo amazing to see the oldest covered theatre in the world from 1580. What genius to construct those sets which appear to be 3D. I hope to come back someday to enjoy a performance there! The Basilica Palladian and the Chiesa di Santa Corona are also worthy of a visit. The views atop the Basilica Palladian are breathtaking and the beautiful altar and paintings in the Chiesa are a must to see. What a genius Palladio was! Make sure you see the facades of the Loggia Del Capitaniato and the Palazzo Chiericati.
- genevieve m00HistoryA fantastic mix of historical art and modern exhibitions in the one magnificent space. What ever the exhibition is you will also be amazed at the building itself. The story of the universe, sun moon and stars. Very enjoyable and worth the entry fee.
- gordonbE6409TS00Great (and tasty!) way to experience the historical centre of PadovaIn my opinion this is one of the best ways to experience an Italian city: food and culture combined into a walking tour. Simonetta was a very nice and knowledgeable guide and happily accommodated my request to see St Anthony's Basilica. For the tasting we started with a special coffee at cafe pedrocchi, followed by an aperitivo mixed platter and alcoholic drink, then a local pasta dish with duck and gelato for dessert. Highly recommended!
- Paolo C00Great tour of the Berici HillsThe tour of the Berici Hills is one of the most wonderful excursions in the area. Thanks to the presence of a private guide and a private minivan we felt hugged and welcomed. Vicenza is fantastic and its hills are gorgeous: we had a fantastic experience in a winery of the Berici hills - risotto, bruschettas, homemade cake and, of course, excellent wine! and the panorama of the Medieval Watermills... just amazing!
- Laurie56500MesmorizingThis church is an exceptional experience. Be sure to make an advance reservation since we did, and we were one of 15 people let in, as opposed to the group afterwards who were near 40

A lovely small town but do not go there on a Saturday morning which is market day (tatty stuff being sold, mainly curtains and cushions and rugs). Every square in the town was taken over by these stalls which meant that you couldn't see the buildings at all. The museum was overcrowded and we had to queue for a long time, because there were only three rooms inside to see and every room was full of guided tours being conducted very loudly which completely split our own viewing experience.

not so small city at northern part of Italy with several places around to visit, within a 30 min train travel . Has a historical center and one of the most prestigious pens of the world sold there: Montegrappa. Worth visiting, staying and enjoying.

A beautiful spot with magnificent views from their Ponte Vecchio, and many great places to eat. It's only 10 minutes by cab to Marostica, which is also definitely worth a visit.
