      Tasty authenticity!
We came for a tiramisú lesson and left with so much more! Vallí is not only a superstar in the kitchen, she and her partner Dave are also wonderful human beings! Their authenticity elevates the cooking class to a whole other level; by the time we sat down to enjoy the fruit of our hard work, we felt like we were doing so with friends! This felt very different from classes we've taken at bigger cooking schools in other cities--much more personal and intimate. Vallí genuinely cares about sharing her passion for food and her culture, and she is very generous with her time, knowledge, and attention to detail! We'd love to be back someday for her other cooking classes, but in the meantime, we highly recommend them to anyone looking to learn how to make pasta or tiramisú, or simply to learn more about Italian culture or connect with locals through food. Do it! Any reason is a good reason!

      Super fun activity
Vallì and her husband Dave were both accommodating and fun. The class was super fun, educational and located in a lively area of Verona. It's very close to the main train station if you are hopping between areas/cities within Italy. Glad we booked this class! It was only about 2.5-3 hours and we get to eat what we made. If you are looking to do some more planned activities, I highly recommend. If you have dietary restrictions, this may also be a good option as Valli specializes in cooking with little to no salt, sugar, etc so very clean and fresh ingredients. You get to the location and Valli or Dave will meet with you & lead you up to their place and then the cooking class begins! Overall great experience.

Great way to learn how to make tiramisu
Fantastic way to spend an afternoon. My friends couldn't come with me since they had other plans, so I went alone, and was actually the only one learning how to make tiramisu. 😁 Vallì is great and patient teacher and Dave is funny person with many practical jokes (the nice kind of jokes). Both warm, friendly and welcoming people. I had great time! Learned and laughed a lot. And now I know how to make excellent tiramisu.

      Excellente!
A friend treated me for my birthday to a homemade pasta lesson. What an experience! Valli is knowledgeable, an amazingly teacher of the art of pasta making. Once more, she prepares a dinner using the pasta you've made during her class! if you want to discover pasta and enjoy an amazing evening, Valli is a must stop when you visit Verona.

It was delightful to come to Vallí’s home and learn from her granny’s techniques to produce delicious pasta. Vallí is a natural teacher with a clear passion for her craft. The class was further enhanced by her partner Davide, who cracked jokes throughout the evening; and their opera singing cat Spileu. This class was the perfect addition to our trip to Verona and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

This was such a fantastic evening! Valli is so experienced and a fantastic teacher - we learnt so much! We learnt how to make about 4-5 different pasta shapes, different coloured pasta and had a wealth of Italian nonna tips! Valli & Dave welcomed us into their home, we shared a delicious meal that we’d created the pasta for and we were treated as friends by them! This experience really is special and we’ll be recommending to anyone who comes to Verona! Thank you Valli & Dave!

What a fantastic experience; our evening with Vallì ( and Dave :-) ) was an absolute highlight of our trip to Verona. Our 8 year old grandson had a wonderful time making , and eating , the pasta and Vallì was so kind letting him be so involved with all the activities. We all highly recommend this wonderful activity and cherish the opportunity to have spent time with this couple learning so much about pasta, and their family.

Valli and Dave are so delightful. We would have had a great time just hanging out with them, but we also got to learn pasta making and eat a fantastic meal.

If you like to cook, or even just eat good food, this is the Verona experience not to miss! Can't wait to get home and start putting our new skills to work.

What an utterly lovely experience! From the moment we arrived and Valli met us on the street, we felt very welcome and at home. We had a lovely group and Valli spent time making sure we were all happy, chatting to us individually and as a group. We learned great techniques for making pasta traditionally (manually), as well as shortcuts with machines. You get a great and thorough understanding of the Italian traditions (mixed in with Valli's own family tips and tricks), all easy to replicate and remember. David is a real treat too, coming home to clean up our mess and eat with us. It was an all-round brilliant evening and highlight of our Verona trip. Hope to see you in the UK, V & D! X

What an awesome experience! It made our Italian trip so special! Valli is very knowledgeable, amazing at the job! Cant wait to go home and make pasta!
Also her partner Dave that joined us in the end transformed the evening from a cooking class to an eating around with friends in an Italian home!
Already recommended to people we have met on the trip and can’t rate it high enough! Thank you Valli and Dave

The best authentic experience! We made tagliatelle and ravioli and got to enjoy it afterwards. Valentina is an incredible teacher with so much knowledge and Dave is an awesome cohost. This was one of our favourite things in Verona, would recommend for couples/families and friends!!

We were the unfortunate winners of a delayed train which resulted in us being 50 minutes late to this 3 hour activity. We were refused to join the class as the host felt that we would disrupt the class. We were quite disappointed by this. We understand the inconvenience, but felt that we could have been accommodated in some way or another. Perhaps just joining for dessert, a glass of wine or a take away. We paid full price for an experience we never had.

Amazing evening last night at Valli and Dave’s! The class was so informative - Valli taught us loads of techniques and helped us to understand how to ‘listen’ to the pasta! The dining experience afterwards felt so friendly and personal, and the food was delicious, of course!
    Thanks for a lovely evening!

Highly recommend. Valli and Davide were excellent hosts and we learnt how to make pasta confidently firsthand. Just need to get our own pasta machine now!
