This was such an insightful and refreshing tour of Verona city center. Our tour guide was a great story teller: he was able to give just the right amount of history without getting boring, enough walking around to keep us engaged, and enough comedy to keep it light hearted. Obviously the city center can get very crowded, so our tour guide did his best in navigating us away from the crowds. He also let us know all the great restaurants to eat and where to get the best gelato. I would recommend this tour for anyone who wants a different spin on the story of Romeo and Juliet.

Thank you. Yes, they say Juliet's House is the most visited single monument in the whole word ... I don't know if this is true, but undoubtly it's one of the most visited sights in the wonderful city of Verona ... but of course there's much more than the balcony and this tour puts the story in its historical background and at the end you come to understand a lot about the city in a pleasant and involving way.

We had a wunderfull walk through verona with our guide which we highly recommend! She was very knowledgable and did not only tell us about romeo and giulietta but also about veronas broader history. You could feel her passion for the city and its history and she kindly offered to take pictures of us whenever we got to a sight. We would have forgotten about taking pictures because we were so captured in her stories. Further she could answer all our questions and was just a lovely person to spend time with. We highly recomend the tour and the guide!

Last week I visited Verona for the very first time, and I must be honest: I was not sure about booking a city tour with a guide, because of my previous experiences in other cities, but then I changed my mind. I had the tour with Francesco and the result was that I fell in love with Verona, the city of love. If I could go back again, I would totally repeat the tour: it was worthy of every single penny spent!!
It felt like I was exploring the true spirit of Verona while listening through the history of this town, and that is all because of Francesco’s addiction and affection to the places. I am absolutely sure that I wouldn’t have discovered many of the gorgeous places we’ve been to without him.
His passion for the history, all the curiosities of the city that he told me and, on the top of all, the endless love-story of Romeo and Juliet are a precious souvenir that, thanks to Francesco, I will keep in my heart forever.
He really made me feel like I was a local girl!
Totally recommended!

Lovely experience with our guide, Maria. We opted for an English tour. We were kept very captivated by her stories and style. We learnt so much about Verona that we would not have been able to do so without or guide! She helped us to take many lovely photos as well.
Excellent tour and thoroughly recommended if looking for a guide to help learn more about Verona and its history and stories

Francesco was our tour guide and gave us the absolute best experience of Verona - we learned so much about the history and structures we had previously passed on the street time and time again. Francesco reminded us that the floor and sky of Verona all have a story to tell. His story telling is beautiful and he captivates you with his personality - a great experience in Verona and a must for those wanting to learn more about the history and culture!

This was the perfect tour and guide for us. We met our guide, Maria Pia, at the designated fountain meeting spot - finding her with her guide nametag was easy. Maria was super friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the sites and history and stories of Verona. Maria was able to navigate the streets and sites of Verona and provide a great tour without being hampered by the crowds or stuck in long lines. It was a thoroughly enjoyable tour; we highly recommend Maria and this tour.

I loved discovering all the layers of history behind Verona's monuments. Maria Pia took us from the Cretaceous to Contemporary History. She is a fabulous storyteller and already had us at Juliet's place when she revealed a surprise love letter from one of the ladies' husbands - Aww!

If there was six stars we would give six - Maria was absolutely amazing, charming and informative. Captivating throughout, we were led on the most beautiful tour of all the key spots of Verona. We are only here for two days but felt we had the full experience of the city within the space of 2 hours with Maria. We can’t thank you enough!!!
