Really interesting tour of Verona would recommend to others! Was great to see the city without the crowds

María our tour guide was magnificent. Polite and informative and very passionate about the story. Totally gorgeous I would 100% recommend it to anyone.

Seeing the city lit up at night is something we always love to do. This tour was better than many others we have taken in other cities. Our guide Maria was EXTREMEly knowledgeable about little things embedded throughout the older part of the city that we had walked by several times and never noticed the significance. Our tour went over the allotted time and with the permission of all she continued to show us things for another half hour. It was really fun.

This was absolutely amazing, Maria took us through each step of the tour engaging us all the way with her knowledge and passion explaining the history of Verona. It was a memorable day and she definitely helped me pop the question in the best way possible. Towards the end of our tour we both were truly sad to leave Maria and actually wanted her to come home with us. Made us feel at ease the whole way and truly connect with Verona.

Amazing! 10/10 would recommend. We were led around Verona by Maria, who taught us all about the history, architecture and stories of the arena, the buildings in Verona and of course, Romeo and Juliet. Maria was an incredible storyteller and a fountain of knowledge, she answered any questions we had and taught us so much that we hadn't heard about before. Such a fantastic tour- it actually ran over the hour a little and we didn't even notice! I can't recommend you book this enough! We learnt so much and enjoyed ourselves so much more than we would have if we hadn't picked this tour.

My niece and I had the most fabulous tour with Maria Pia in Verona! Maria is an incredible storyteller and really brings the history alive. She is very knowledgeable and engaging - we remember more facts from this tour than many others we went on in Europe! Maria went above and beyond to cover all of my niece's interests and questions relating to Romeo and Juliet, which she is studying at school at the moment. Maria also generously gave up her time the day after our tour to go back to one of the sights we visited to take a photo we forgot to take. This was just the kind of walking tour we love! Maria provided great stories blended with real historic facts. Her enthusiasm and animation made it really fun and interesting. Good tour with enthusiastic guide. Nice pace and good length tour with interesting stories about the city and it's sights. Guide was accommodating to the groups interests and took everyone into account equally.

This was such an insightful and refreshing tour of Verona city center. Our tour guide was a great story teller: he was able to give just the right amount of history without getting boring, enough walking around to keep us engaged, and enough comedy to keep it light hearted. Obviously the city center can get very crowded, so our tour guide did his best in navigating us away from the crowds. He also let us know all the great restaurants to eat and where to get the best gelato. I would recommend this tour for anyone who wants a different spin on the story of Romeo and Juliet.
