About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Mary K0 contributionsGreat experienceThe experience was great and our host was excellent! All of the food and wine was very good! We even bought some wine to take back to our hotelWritten October 7, 2024
- 78abbiem0 contributionsDo not book in advance with this companyBooked and paid for the wine tasting before travelling to Italy and the weather was forecast to be good for the day we had booked. Unfortunately on the day there was torrential rain all afternoon so I messaged the company more than 3 hours before the start time to ask if we could move the experience to a different day. They replied after 4 o clock and just said 'the tour has already started'. I replied that I was aware but had messaged well before the start but they completely ignored the message and did not respond to me at all. Over £60 wasted by booking this trip in advance but it is a lesson learnt!Written September 28, 2024
- 671scottb0 contributionsWorth it for the knowledge sharing aloneTour guides knowledge made the entire trip so much better. We wouldn't have stopped and known to notice the things that were shared with us. Great Job!Written September 18, 2024
- SaraUddevalla0 contributionsVery nice wine tasting! This was a nice wine tasting in a beautiful setting with views of the vineyard. We walked out in the vineyard and looked at the different grapes and were introduced to the vineyard history. The tasting was pleasant with tasty snacks to accompany the wine. The guide was knowledgeable. A plus would have been to have different glasses so one did not have to finish every wine before the next.Written July 15, 2024
- Seaside66chris0 contributionsEvening wine tasting BardolinoNice tour of the vineyard, then an over view of the 5 wines to taste and one olive oil, all of which is produced on site. We had a board of local meats and cheeses to accompany the wines. You can purchase wines at end of the tour but there is no pressure. This does not include a tour of how they make the wine or a pairing experience wine/food. The group overall consisted of 15 people. We were on foot and took a taxi from Bardolino , it cost €16. However, we were made aware of a shuttle bus that ran from Bardolino bus station to outside the winery, this is not on their webpage or Trip advisor. If you search shuttle bus Barderlino, It cost €1.30 per person each way, departed at 1624 towards winery and return was at 1830. Overall we had a nice experienceWritten June 20, 2024
- ronnie100000 contributionsMust do tour in VeronaSpectacular tour, incredible tour guide Maria Pia. Must do your, not only do you see incredible sights, you learn about the history, architecture and culture of Verona as well as the true story of Romeo and Guilett. - Patricia M0 contributionsLovely local experience in BardolinoThis tour of the winery was excellent with lots of local knowledge and information. Jack was very informative and friendly. He answered any questions from our group and also the food provided was delicious and was paired with the wines excellently. He also encouraged us to get the local bus back to Bardolino rather than the more expensive taxi run. A really good experience.Written July 31, 2023
- a3whd0 contributionsMaria out guide was brilliant.Arrived at 1.45pm for a 1 hour 15 min tour. We met Maria a lovely lady who was so passionate in her love for Verona. We stopped for several minutes at various places where she gave us a wonderful insight into the history of the arena and lots of other sites. There could have been a maximum of 10 but we were just a four. Another couple from Canada. We actually finished at 3.15. Would highly recommend this tour.Written July 3, 2023
- lourdesmM1111760 contributionsEnchantingI absolutely loved Maria’s story telling! She has a gift for bringing history to life. My mother and I loved listening to her! Highlight of our trip thus far!Written June 4, 2023
- Gerrycan20 contributionsCould have been betterOur guide was not the best we've had at different locations around the world. He liked the sound of his own voice. We were expecting individual headsets so we could all hear him talk through a mic , but no he had to gather us all together at different locations to give us a group talk.Written May 11, 2023

- slinda8820180 contributionsBest Way To Get To Know Verona On First Day!Our favorite part was getting to hear story behind the tale of Romeo and Juliet from Maria, our tour guide. She was a true story teller. Walking around the city to learn about different style of buildings based on centuries also very insightful. We highly recommend this tour if you want to know Verona in a nutshell within less than two hours.Written November 14, 2022
- 600sallieh0 contributionsWonderful Verona tourMia our tour guide was so nice and had great stories to tell. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. And she was kind enough to point out good restaurants to us as well. Highly recommend.Written October 22, 2022
- LaddiHelgason0 contributionsAn excellent tour around VeronaWe found this tour by chance and how glad we are we decided to give it a go! The tour guide (who’s name I’ve sadly forgotten) was excellent, spoke very good English and was extremely friendly, engaging and knowledgable about the city. She thrilled us with stories of the gladiators performing at the Verona Arena, showed us all the different architecture, told us all about the Scaligeri family and, of course, the story of Romeo and Juliet. I highly recommend this for anyone visiting Verona!Written September 25, 2022
