      Wonderful day of touring!
Due to flight delays, we only had 1 full day in Venice and I am so glad that we had planned this tour with Riccardo. Our family group of 5 walked over 6 miles and saw much of what makes the city so unique. Communication via email and WhatsApp was very smooth. Riccardo was super in explaining the history of Venice and what we were seeing as well as make unique stops like the Libreria Acqua Alta bookstore. He picked out a great place for a traditional cicchetti lunch and made advance reservations for the terrace overlooking the city. When our plans to see St Marks the day before got cancelled, he added in the square and the exterior of the Doge's Palace so we didn't miss those highlights. At times, he spoke very quickly and could be a bit hard to understand, but overall this was not an issue for any of us. If you want a fantastic overview of the city (complete with a long list of restaurant recommendations) or just have a short time like we did, a private tour with Riccardo is money very well spent! We look forward to another visit and another tour--grazie!!

      Very enjoyable
Alice showed our group around the Dorsoduro district. Very interesting. Very well done. Wish we had the time to do the afternoon tour. Maybe next time.

      Do Meet Southern Venice
Southern Venice Free Tour Highlight of 5-day Venice trip was this tour booked through Freetour.com. Alice, our guide, invited us into the intriguing and informative history of Venice, its citizens, its triumphs, and its geography. She was such a pleasure and made the 2-hour walk such a rewarding experience, I couldn't help but increase my tip: well worth every minute and Euro. Southern Venice tour focuses on Dorsoduro district, while Northern Venice tour focuses on Castello and Cannaregio districts.

      Venice with Alice
We took the Northern Venice free walking tour with Alice just hours after arriving in the city for the first time, and it proved to be a very useful introduction - not only did Alice display her wealth of knowledge about the history and culture of Venice, she also gave us very valuable tips (stay to the right, tourists) and recommendations that served us well during the remainder of our time there.

Amazing tours by friendly and fun guides
We did 2 tours during our stay in Venice, one focused in Dorsoduro, and the other on the highlights of Venice. Both amazing, full of an interesting historical context, anecdotes and great recommendations. Two of the best tours we've ever did, definitely recommend to anyone who want to better understand the city beyond its beauty.

      Gems and anecdotes of Venice
It was a fantastic tour of the city held by a beautiful person. Federico walked us through Dorsoduro and San Polo and showed us some hidden gems of the city. He also provided us with some marvellous anecdotes. We will always remember this experience and highly suggest you to go.

Southern Venice Free tour, 12/6/21, 10h with Maria Laura. professional lovely guide, very well chosen points of interest beside the classic sightseeing spots, considerable remarks about the fragility of Venice as a mass tourism hotspot. Perfect tour, absolutely worth it!!

      Northern Venice Free Tour
I did the Northern Venice Free Tour and Alice was my tour guide. We started our tour in the Castello district and finished in Cannaregio. These neighborhoods are mostly residential and often unexplored by tourists. Alice gave lots of interesting information about important sites (schools, churches, monuments, bridges) and famous people from the area. You get to travel off the beaten path and see the city through the eyes of a local. You can tell Alice is very passionate about her city and enjoys sharing her knowledge with others. I highly recommend taking this tour if it's your first time in Venice, and even if it's not, there's always more to see and explore!

Free walking tour - north and south 👍🏼👍🏼
Did both the north and south walking tour the same day - and it was really great! It is a good way to see the city and see some sights and hear some stories that you wouldn’t have found by yourself.

      Great tour around Dorsoduro
We did the morning tour in Dorsoduro, south of Venice, with Anna and it was great. Anna explained us the origins and history of the city, but she also told us some interesting facts and gave us many recommendations regarding restaurants, visits, etc. We definitely recommend her tour and if we're back to Venice, we'll go for the tour in the north of the city.

      Surprized by a walking tour
Marialaura (our tour guide) was very knowledgeable and nice. She took us inside true Venice history and culture. She also gave us advice on everything we asked. On this tour, you will walk and learn a lot about Venise with a nice and good looking guide.

Marialaura took myself and several other couples on a half day morning tour of Venice. We really didn't know what we would see , just that we did not need to see landmarks or churches instead we wanted to learn about the history of Venice and to get insight into life in Venice. We all loved the tour. Thank You so much!
    Highly Recommend .

I attended two tour here in Venice, a photo tour and this one, both led by our guide Riccardo, a photographer but also a licensed tour guide. We loved his attitude and the way he made us feel comfortable! We saw hidden stunning places and finally we learned about how Venice was built, super interesting and chilling!

We recommend Riccardo as a tour guide and a great guy, be sure to do the tour the first day here since he's going to give a precious list of suggestions!

    Thank you Riccardo!
