A Great Day in the Mountains

It was a most excellent experience with a great tour guide named Simone. I loved walking around the lake and eating local fare nearby. The scenery was majestic and great lookout points were chosen for photos. I recommend this tour. I only wish I could have stayed up in the mountains longer. This tour packs a lot in.

Tour itinerary clearly includes Tre Cime but on that day itself the driver did not bring us there, citing a lack of time. We were brought to 2 towns (Cortina and Pieve di Cadore) and 2 lakes (Misurina and Auronzo). Lake Misurina is beautiful but still very disappointed that we did not make it to Tre Cime. It is a 20min drive from Lake Misurina. So close yet so far!

If the mountain will not come to you...

Tired of Venice, tired of life? Not so! One day in the glorious Dolomites with this superbly well planned and executed tour will convince you of it. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this very safe and relaxing adventure: the jaw dropping splendour of the snow capped panorama, the icy sugar coated Misurina Lake in high altitude, the unearthly blue lagoon turquoise of the waters of Santa Croce, the famous but intimate ski resort of Cortina, a sneak preview of the preparations for the forthcoming Olympics, Titian’s birthplace... But there is more! Many options were offered along the way. Would you choose a lake side walk, lunch on a sunny hotel terrace, or a simple sandwich break and a lazy chauffeured drive all the way? Our small group of strangers soon bonded under the gentle humorous guidance of our very knowledgeable driver, Simone. Le top!

Great tour
The Dolomites tour was a great selection. Such beautiful, awesome scenery makes you appreciate the magnificence of Northern Italian nature. Our guide Francesco was very good. He was informative with facts and anecdotes that made the tour up to Dolomites interesting. He also selected a very good spot for lunch at a lake on the way. All in all, we were very happy with the tour, and would highly recommend it.
