Value for money experience. Strongly recommended
The guide was superb. She had great knowledge of Venice and it’s history, speaking very clear English, helpful, answering all questions of the group. We enjoyed going to less crowded corners and places of Venice.

      Must have walking tour
One of the most informative tours I've ever had. You must have it to know the real Venice. It's 2.5 hours all in walking and it really deserves your time. Just take care in case you have kids that there is no toilette stop.

      Best walking tour in Venice!
Great tour, fantastic guide. Small group size made it much better Valentina our guide was very knowledgeable, welcoming and fun! Couldn’t have been any better

      Great tour
We had a great time on this tour. Aurora was very knowledgeable about the food in Florence. We took a stroller and two little ones and she was very accommodating for our needs.

      Great introduction to Venice
We are a family of 4 and booked this tour as an introduction to Venice. Because it’s off-season there was only a total of 7 people on the tour. It was a great way to start our visit, to learn more about Venice’s history, and to understand better what we were looking at. We were also fortunate to have the highly rated Daisy (who has a PhD in Venetian history) as our guide. Daisy took us to intriguing places we would have otherwise missed and was happy to provide practical information about Venice (including as to restaurants) that we then relied on. Having now done a few such tours in different cities this was easily the best. Just note this tour seems to be sold by a few different companies.

      History, and a love story.
It was lovely to see all the sites, and the history - there are SO many buildings with different historical times all mixed together - 12th century, next to 16th century, next to 14th century next to 20th century, all very close to a Roman arena and not far from a Roman amphitheatre. Also amazing for me was to hear that there was an element of truth in Shakespeare's play, even though he did not travel overseas ie there really were two families of Montague's and Della Capella, seeing the sign of the Cap, (denoting Della Capella household) at what is now known as Juliet's house, and hearing that a family Montague lived in what is now shown as Romeos house. It made Verona even more fascinating. The price was quite high for a walking tour.

      Would not recommend this tour.
We were contacted the evening before, stating that we could not get into Saint Mark‘s basilica . That was the only reason why we had scheduled this tour. The name of the Tour was changed on the day that we had the tour. It was an hour and a half shorter than originally scheduled, we never received a refund for the tickets that we had paid for to visit Saint Marks Basilica, and the guide was very difficult to understand. While on the tour, I was able to listen to some of the other guides, and their groups were given much better explanations, and details. When the person called to inform us that we would be unable to have the original tour, she was not very kind, she was very short tempered, and said that this was the best Tour that she could provide. I think we should receive a partial refund for this tour, it was expensive and the price we paid did not reflect the quality of the tour. , I would not recommend the agency that provided the tour.

      Verona a hidden gem
Our tour was like a private tour with only 3 of us... which was great. It meant we could ask questions of our young guide as we went along and she had time to stop and tell us about the building/monument. Verona is a beautiful city and our guide showed us the best spots. We especially liked seeing the Adige river and hearing the history of the buildings on the opposite side of the river. I was surprised to hear the local delicacy is horse meat stew with Polenta! I would recommend this tour

      Good tour and food recs
4/5 stars for the tour itself plus one for the recommendations for restaurants at the end - lots of different options and its hard to know where to eat in a touristy place

      Great Tour
Our guide was fantastic. She had a PHD in history and was able to give us insights we would have never figured out on our own. Also took us to a couple of sights like the Scoula San Rocco that we would have never discovered without taking this tour. She was very engaging and happily answered all our questions. Also gave us some recommendations for food, pizza & gelato. Great experience. Highly recommended.

      Change of tour
Guide cancelled, and TripAdvisor took action to complete the tour. They notified us the day before if we were willing to convert our private tour to a group tour, refunding the difference in price. That would heave been ok, but the tour guide spoke too softly and stop at each stop. I could learn more on my own. The group ended up not being large.

      good small group tour
We booked just a couple of days before. Laura was great. The small group truly was small, us and another couple (sometime "small groups" are a lot larger). As a result, we had a pretty tailored experience (e.g., we didn't want to oh and ah at "Juliette's house," so the stop was kept to a minimum). Piazza Bra can be crowded/overrun. We asked at our hotel where the Piazza Bra clock was which is the designated meeting place. (Locals know that it is a clock in an archway over one of the streets into the Piazza.) That could be better described on the booking. We did not book on this occasion on "Get Your Guide" but when we booked a different tour in a different city with that, its app had a useful feature telling one how far you are from the meeting place. The tour also might have mentioned the Porta Leoni, the other roman wall remnant that we stumbled onto in town.

We had been on a cruise with various pots and multiple tour guides. This by far the best experience of all. Romy was very knowledgeable and brought us into each stop with background and interesting facts. This was the highlight of our three weeks in Europe. I recommend this to anyone who wants more than just the scenic tour of this remarkable city.
