Maria was wonderful

Try to get Maria as your guide if you do this tour. She was simply delightful, full of energy and full of knowledge. The tour is at least half walking City tour all around the San Marco square with visits to the Cathedral and Palace. Then you get a Grand Canal tour by boat (a regular water taxi). We opted into a free extension to a glass-blowing place in Murano which was great.
