    Escape from main Venice tourists
Lovely boat trip. Morono glass blowing is amazing. Nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of Venice. Not quite long enough on each island had to rush our drinks and snacks .

    Gondola ride near Rialto bridge
This was the only activity out of so many thet I would not recommend. First of all we paid too much online while both of us could have taken a gondola ride for 80 dollars. They promised us 30 minutes but it was a lot shorter and the Gondolier was not friendly. He did not sing and kept talking to other gondoliers in Italian while passing by. It was no way near a romantic experience in the beautiful city of Venice.

Well rounded tour and great tour guide.
Great tour with insights into the city and things to observe about the buildings. Palace and Basilica are two top sites and worth seeing, but the city tour adds a lot to the appreciation and understanding of Venice.

    Venetian walking ghost tour
A nighttime/ evening walking tour of Venice during July is a little cooler and a little less crowded than midday 👍 Stories of local culture and history were interesting but not too creepy or scary. The guide had a tiny bit of trouble with English, you could still understand everything but it limited the effectiveness of storytelling and relaying the creepiness of the tales. Still entertaining though :)

A Captivating Journey Through Venice's Jewels: Murano, Burano, and Torcello with Guide Extraordinaire!
A Captivating Journey Through Venice's Jewels: Murano, Burano, and Torcello with Guide Extraordinaire! It's not often you experience something that genuinely takes your breath away, but my recent private boat tour to Murano, Burano, and Torcello, with Davide, accomplished exactly that. From the very outset, the tour was meticulously organized. Davide has a profound understanding and passion for his native Venice and its famous islands. His knowledge of each destination's historical, cultural, and social aspects transformed the tour into a rich and engaging experience. The first stop was Murano, world-renowned for its exquisite artistic glassmaking industry. Here, there was a virtual private tour and demonstration of the craft of glass blowing. The artisans, akin to magicians, molded glowing orbs of liquid glass into intricate shapes that transcended the realm of mere craftsmanship into artistic masterpieces. The guide at the factory actually gave a private tour of the exclusive area of the store where the craftsmen at Antica Murrina's amazing creations were on display. Davide's expert commentary throughout this experience was invaluable, and the guides at the factory delved into the history of the craft and discussed the creation of the exquisite pieces. It felt like being given privileged access to a world, where art, history, and tradition seamlessly blended together. Next, we voyaged to Burano, a picturesque island famed for its lacework and vibrantly colored fishermen's houses. Boating through the center of town, then parking the boat and Strolling around this photogenic town felt like walking inside a kaleidoscope, with every turn revealing a delightful array of colors. The highlight of our visit was a detailed description of lace-making, and the history of the Venice masks by the owner of MeraViglie, a fascinating store with all handmade Venetian-made items. Our final stop was the serene island of Torcello, steeped in history and providing a tranquil contrast to its bustling neighbors. I must mention Davide for his contagious enthusiasm, in-depth knowledge, and exceptional customer service. He went above and beyond to ensure the best-personalized tour. His passion for Venice and its traditions brought the tour to life and elevated the entire experience. If you plan to visit Venice, I cannot recommend this tour with Davide highly enough. It's more than a tour; it's an unforgettable journey through art, history, and tradition that leaves you with a deeper understanding and appreciation of these unique islands. This tour is not merely a checkmark on a tourist to-do list but an intimate, immersive, and genuinely moving experience.

    Don’t bother
What a waste of time. Went for 20 minutes and the gondola driver was on his phone most of the time with no interest in showing us anything. We tried to engage with him but he was more interested in his phone. And then they asked us to leave a tip!

Worth it if you've never done a gondola ride!
It was a beautiful experience. This particular ride does not include a guided tour, as advertised, but our guide gave us a heads-up where the popular landmarks were so we could take pictures.

Entertaining walk through Venice at night
The walk was a bit different than as advertised - just an hour and only through San Marco and San Polo, but still full of entertaining stories and creepy streets. Our guide was lively and her English was fairly easy to understand. For the price I think it was an excellent value, and I would definitely recommend.

    Nice way to visit Murano
Nic way to get to see the two islands. The guide provides some commentary on the way but not too much. The glass blowing demonstration on Murano was especially impressive. They leave you plenty of time in both islands to stroll around and do some shopping/eating.

    Fantastic Ride
Our gondola ride was wonderful. Our party of five arrived a bit early, loaded right away, and had a beautiful, interesting, and fun ride as our gondolier pointed out historical sites and serenaded us. It was fantastic!

The guide was a terrifically nice man however we could only understand 10-15 per cent of what he said due to his strong italian accent. The group was looking at each other with “what??!!” type faces quite a lot. I am fairly sure that the basilica has some mosaics, other than that i’m think I didn’t learn a huge amount! We of course told him that the tour was great.

I arrived at the meeting spot where the company people were waiting for me, at the tour time we moved to Doge's Palace and waited for the tour doing the Doge's Palace to finish because they said I was to join them in the basilica - first I knew about it. We waited ten minutes into the tour time before the tour arrived, we went into the basilica, needing to be very careful to watch where the guide was because she didn't wait and it was very easy to be left out of the group, as happened to some on the tour.
The tour finished ten minutes early, so my one hour tour lasted approx 40 minutes.
The explanation was ok, but brief.
I've done many tours over europe, this was definitely not one of the better ones. I wouldn't book another tour with them.

My friend and I booked this tour at the last minute when we arrived in Venice. We wanted a quick overview of the cathedral and to skip the massive lines. Frankly, neither of us had a lot of patience for crowds or big guided tours -- and we didn't expect all that much from this tour other than a brief intro. Wow, were we pleasantly surprised!

Our English-speaking guide, Fiona, was fantastic. She did an expert job of giving us a detailed history of both Venice and St. Mark's, as well as what had gone into the construction and design of the basilica. It was a one hour crash course in art history and culture. She was very knowledgeable and engaging; we both learned a lot. She even passed around samples of the tiny glass tiles that had been made by hand and carefully pieced together to create the massive, stunning ceilings over the course of 450 years.

Best yet, these ceilings are now illuminated by electric lights for one hour each day (11:30-12:30), and our visit, at noon, was timed to coincide with this perfectly. I've been to St. Mark's twice before. Seeing the mosaics illuminated was astonishing. We both came away from the tour awed and impressed. It was one of the highlights of our four days in Venice.

A lovely experience and our guide was great! We have not been on many walking tours before we came to Italy however this was worth every penny even just to skip the queues! The whole tour was well coordinated and a great way to see some of the most renown sites of Venice! Also lots of opportunities to take great photos!

The guide went round the Basilica so fast, not giving enough time to really look and enjoy.
Also it’s supposed to skip the clue, but all we did was skip one queue for another as we still had to queue to get in the Basilica. Not a good experience.

If I could rate this company 0 stars I would. None of our radios worked to hear the audio guide. Which is what we paid $172 for four people. They tried to change the radios, microphones nothing worked and the guide just started the tour disregarding us telling him it’s not working. All we heard was nothing or static. We literally handed back
Our radios since they didn’t work. A group of 20 plus people were all scammed out of their money for this tour. I was told by the event desk in Venice they will call Viator for the refund what a joke. I’ve spent hours on the phone with Viator. Both this company and viator are unreliable providing 0 customer service. I have chat messages while on the tour with this awful operator and they still won’t issue a refund. I would’ve rather given $172 to the homeless guy on the street in Venice. Apparently Viator does nothing to protect you from these situations and neither does this tour company.
