Venice-in-a-Day Combination Tour Package

If you’re looking to see most of Venice’s well-known sights all in one day, put your trust in this 3.5-hour combination tour package. This package includes a 30-minute gondola ride on the Grand Canal, a 2-hour walking tour of the city, and a 1-hour boat tour along the city’s most secluded canals. Plus, it gives you a skip-the-line privilege at Doge's Palace (Palazzo Ducale) and at St. Mark's Basilica.
What to Expect
On Mondays through Saturdays, your tour starts at 9:40am, but on Sundays, it’ll start at 11am. Meet at Santa Maria del Giglio Gondola Park a little before your departure time.
Start by getting into your gondola with up to five others. Once everyone is safe and secure, your gondolier takes you for a classic gondola ride for 30 minutes across the Grand Canal. Admire Venice’s buildings, and see places, such as Santa Maria della Salute and Ponte dell'Accademia.
Afterward, make your own way over to Museo Correr at St. Mark’s Square on the opposite side of St. Mark’s Basilica (Basilica di San Marco) to meet your guide for your 2-hour walking tour. On Mondays to Saturdays the meeting time is at 11:15am, but on Sundays, the meeting time is at 2pm. Hear about the history of the square, and skip the line at St. Mark's Basilica. Inside the Italo-Byzantine-style church, admire its golden mosaics and altar pieces.
Next up is Doge's Palace (Palazzo Ducale). Avoid the crowds here, too, as your guide walks you through the palace. Stroll along the Bridge of Sighs and pass the new prisons before your guide leaves you on your own to explore.
Later in the afternoon, meet up for your last tour in this package — the 1-hour boat tour on Venice’s canals. Meet in front of Monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II, along Riva degli Schiavoni, close to the Hotel Londra Palace. This portion of the tour package meets Monday through Sunday at 4:45pm. Launch off from the Grand Canal, and discover some of the city’s most hard-to-get-to canals. Catch a glimpse of Venice's palaces and buildings, and make sure to snap pictures while listening to your guide's commentary along the journey. This boat tour lets you off in the same place you came aboard.

We booked one week before we arrived in Venice....If you want to book earlier I’d see if the website allows for it. Apologies, I can’t add a lot to the question. Kind regards Shane

We saw the Doges Palace from afar. Yes, there is plenty of time to take photos of St. Mark's Square.
