About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Pitti990 contributionsScortati all'uscita fin da subito ! A sto punto non ci fate entrareScortati verso l'uscita sin da subito! The staff as early as 3;40 p.m. follows us throughout the exhibition consisting of two rooms because they had to close at 4 p.m. He shows us around the museum in 10 minutes and at 15;50 throws us out after being on us the whole time. Very bad behavior exactly like not running a museum. Staff to be sent to do other job !Written March 22, 2025
- kmaria12020 contributionsSunday morning is the time to visit! The St Mark’s museum is the best place to view the amazing mosaics of the Basilica. Add the fabulous terrace overlooking the square and the lagoon, and it’s a can’t-miss. Oh yeah — and the exhibitions themselves are limited but interesting! Pro Tip: go on a Sunday morning when the basilica is closed to tourists but the museum is open and the choir might be practicing. Simply heavenly!Written March 18, 2025
- thomasmX9191WJ0 contributionsWorth doing if you’re not comfortable going on your own.We went to 3 islands. Enough time to explore. We really went to see the mosaics at Torcello, which we did. Only problem, no toilet on the smaller boat to and from Torcello. Terrific tour guide on boat - IsabellaWritten February 24, 2025
- michelletB7970YG0 contributionsBrilliantHighly recommend the boat trip to Murano & Burano, great way to see a little more of Venice. Burano is a stunning little island with beautiful colourful houses with plenty of restaurants to have lunchWritten December 20, 2024
- Nam Hung T0 contributionsVery nice tour with lots of exciting things to see and doThe tour is very nice with lots of exciting things to see and do. Our tour guide Simone was funny and active, he told us jokes and gave us lots of information about the locations. The scenery was amazing. The food was good too.Written December 11, 2024
- Rochele W0 contributionsNov. 2024Gondola ride was amazing! Lunch at Illy Cafe was fantastic. The only issue was that the Cafe was not aware that our tour ticket included lunch at their restaurant. Staff quickly figured out what they needed to provide for our lunch, and all went well.Written November 19, 2024
- EileenR2180 contributionsExcellent tour of highlights of Venice.Highly recommend this tour. Our guide was very helpful and informative. Small size group of 12 then just 6 for the extended tour of the basilica and Doges Palace. We learned lots of history of the beautiful Venice. This tour hits all the highlights!Written October 28, 2024
- entwisle180 contributionsExcellent experienceOur guide was charismatic, amusing but informative. Took us to hidden gems that many tourists will miss. Cannot recommend highly enough.Written October 27, 2024
- lisaw9640 contributionsNow 90 eurosI don’t know when they raised their prices but expect 90 euros during the day instead of 80. But it was an experience that must be tried in Venice. There wasn’t much commentary or verbal exchange with our gondolier. We chose a gondola on a side bridge vs San Marco plaza. The gondola fit 4 people comfortably. If you are a group of 4 or 6, don’t sign up for a per person tour. Just grab one that is waiting to get the gondola all to yourselvesWritten October 3, 2024
- McKenzie A0 contributionsTook our reservation papers, then went missing after the gondola ride. Stated that we were a complete no-show, so we couldn't geWe met up at the location provided, and the tour guide checked our names off the list and took our reservation paper. As everyone else arrived, he took us to the gondola, where they traveled through the canals. The gondola went back to the same spot that we left, and the tour guide was nowhere to be found. We waited around for him for about 15 minutes and then decided to go back to the original meet-up location, where he was missing as well. We then found out that the tourguide scammed us by leaving us at the gondola ride and stating that we were a complete no-show.Written October 2, 2024
- steverH3717FP0 contributions15 minute ride 😠The ride was to be 30 minutes - per the website description. We walked from the meeting point to the gondolas and by the time we got on the gondola 15 minutes had past. Our ride was only 15 minutes long - very misleading and disappointing. Would not recommend this experience thru this agency.Written September 7, 2024
- Megan K0 contributionsBrilliant full day tripThe best day trip! Full day out to three beautiful islands. Plenty of time to look around and nice places on Burano to stop and eat lunch.Written September 7, 2024
- J6725FAalexd0 contributionsReasonableJourney from punta sabbioni was pleasant and staff were nice however we spent several hours in venice and when it came to the return trip we approached the docking point and there were several ques for different boats so i asked the younger of the 2 men that were taking tickets and very politely asked if we were in the right place and he very rudely said "get to the back of the que now" my response was simply "ok i was just wondering if we were in the right place there is no need to be rude" and he replied with "you listen to me now or you dont get on, move to the back now". Other than that it was a reasonably calm and nice journey and resonably priced for a family of 7.Written September 3, 2024
- jamesericf20220 contributionsAnd I Never Give Negative ReviewsDreadful... I don't know what we expected, but a group of ~200 grownups (plus several hapless children) being hauled courtesy of a weary old water-bus with promoter's logo obligingly printed on the gunnels and across the ample stern, was hardly our hope. Yes, the narrator did speak using an onboard P.A. setup which in any case was so loud that every word (repeated in I think four languages, true) was distorted beyond comprehension. At Murano we were all herded into a bleachers-filled room to watch a glass blower—well—blow glass for a few minutes. Impressive results without much if any explanation. Show over... Continuing through the planned gauntlet which led into impressive showrooms of classy glass creations, eventually we emerged into sunlight—after asking saleslady where we might find the exit. Whew. Next our large bunch boarded a boat that might have been a large prop for the Barbie movie. Pink. After more gnarled syllables from our explainer, we alighted on Torcello. With no clue given about a return to Venice, neither time nor farewell. At some point we bought tickets on the regular-scheduled vaporetto, and returned more or less home... actual HOME (where we started) being a generous 40 minute walk from where we exited the water-bus. Summing up, this thing looked better on my tablet screen than its reality. I would like to do an actual tour of these places —but not with an outfit whose hands were sweaty from just turning the crank.Written September 2, 2024
- Karen S0 contributionsOrganise when you arriveWish I’d organised this locally, paid same as negotiating a private trip locally and sat awkwardly with another couple who sat in the prime seats. Trip was barely 20 minsWritten August 31, 2024
