About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- C5916GIjayf0 contributionsBoat tourGreat informative tour . It was short but nice . We Liked the 3 island that We visited . Sad that Torcello has only 8 people living there. We has equisite food and prosseco at a restaurant forgot the name Only serves lunch 12-2pm the owner super nice. Also in Murano the best lunch next to the Murano glass factory.Written October 8, 2024
- Tree H0 contributionsBeautiful place to visitGreat trip plenty of information from guide visited all 3 places glass blower very talented I would book a full day tour to have more time in Murano such ann interesting place to visit very busy and livelyWritten October 6, 2024
- X9200KEbills0 contributionsLots to see.very nice experience and lots to see and so it was worth it. weather was at its worst but the boat accommodated the travel.Written October 5, 2024
- D6193PVkevinm0 contributionsbad informationOur group booked this trip well in advance. We showed up at the location printed on our reservation 30 minutes before the paperwork said to arrive. We were issued tickets and walked to the pickup site. The person at the site informed us that the ticket information was incorrect and we had missed the last tour of the day. We could not reschedule as we had other tours planned for the next day. This booking was very disappointing.Written October 3, 2024
- N690PDnicolah0 contributionsFantastic Sightseeing Tour!Fantastic sightseeing tour and great value for money. We were a group of 8 friends and all thought it was a lovely trip and well worth the money. Would highly recommend thank you. Would have liked more time especially in Torcello as really beautiful. But this tour gave us the opportunity to visit all 3 places and not be on an all day trip away from Venice. We can now decide to return to Torcello on our next trip to Venice.Written October 2, 2024
- Sylvia R0 contributionsHalf day sightseeing tourThe first leg of the tour had sound difficulties, we were unable to hear/understand the guide. This was reported and we were told that it will be fed back to the organisers. At Murano we watched the craftsman demonstrate glass blowing, then we were invited to purchase their merchandise. Please note, the original items are extremely expensive (a small vase €200+, the cheapest items were some earrings €40). 2nd Island was Torcello, could do without stopping there. The most beautiful was Burano. Many little gift shops, coffee shops, places to eat etc. Overall, we are glad we had opportunity to visit. Having been given an opportunity to visit Venice again, we will visit Burano again and perhaps spend a little more time there.Written October 2, 2024
- lkoehler50 contributionsTerrible guide! The guide was terrible. You couldn't hear him at all and his demeanor was rude and uncaring. He obviously hates his job. What a waste of money.Written September 30, 2024
- dawnhV8657ED0 contributionsLong boat ride around the islandsThe guide's narrative on the boat was difficult to understand and I'm good with accents. Sound system wasn't optimal. There was more time spent on the boat going from place to place was more time than we had to explore each location. I enjoyed the time at each location, I just wanted more!Written September 29, 2024
- Ben B0 contributionsNice to see all the main things on each island, but the time goes very quickly at murano and buranoVery nice to see a live glass blowing demonstration in murano, Burano was brilliant to see. Torcello didn’t have a lot to see so 50 minutes here was quite long. Could spend longer at murano and burano, others tours are available for this but this one is nice and quickWritten September 28, 2024
- D2847EUjohna0 contributionsLovely Exploration of the Local IslandsThe excursion was really enjoyable. The pick up point option we used near the KFC near the Railway station was really convenient as we were staying in Mestre and this was right by the Tram stop. Murano glass blowing was amazing, watching the glass blowers artistry and skill was mesmerising. Torcello was quiet and there wasn't much to see here except a church and there are a lot of better churches and Basilicas in Venice so this could have been missed out for me. Burano was the star of the trip. The colourful old fisherman's houses in combination with the mini canals are exquisite.Written September 27, 2024
- Y G0 contributionsVenice IslandsNice day trip, pretty much a shuttle service to the islands with some commentary along the routes and then left to explore the islands yourself, was very cool to see the glass making in Murano and the houses on Burano were very pretty,Written September 26, 2024
- Andrew Philip R0 contributionsThe tour was not worth it.We were very disappointed with Tercello. We were dropped at a dock at least 15 minutes from the townsite (we never got there) and were told to be back within 50 minutes. Then when we arrived at the prearranged meeting point, there was no boat or guide. We finally figured out the boat was docked at the other end of the walkway without any guidance from the guide who was standing inside the boat unable to be seen. Suggest you skip the Tercello stop and leave more time for Murano and BuranoWritten September 26, 2024
- 698cristina0 contributions😐 EhThe time you have in each town is 45 minutes. You do not have enough times you spend more time on the ferry in between the towns than in the towns.Written September 26, 2024
- johnmH1843ZD0 contributionsNot good waste of moneyDon’t waste your time with this trip. If you want to see real glass blowing and an artisan at work then this trip is not for you. It was crowded and very touristy.Written September 26, 2024
- 457jeana0 contributionsTour reviewBurano and Murano were great but the walk to the church in Torcello was quite long and we decided not to go - I think this should be made clear in the tour details.Written September 25, 2024

We were fortunate to have Barbara as a guide. She was a fabulous guide who spoke great English and really knew her city. She took us among the back streets of Venice telling us of its history. She ended the tour at a great restaurant where we grabbed lunch. It was clear to us that Barbara really loves Venice and was proud and pleased to share it with us. Great tour!

This tour is simple and easy to do. It is educational about the history of Venice and allows you to acquaint yourself with the area.

Our guide (Francesca) was delightful. So knowledgeable! She customized our tour to be just what we wanted. It was so fun to have her to ourselves (only four of us).

Based on other tours we have done, this was not very good. Our guide was not the friendliest person and often complained about rude tourists. We got the private tour because my mom can only walk very slow, but the guide kept getting ahead of us and seemed irritated we weren’t keeping up. We got the feeling that she gets kickbacks from the shops she brings us to if we buy something. She spent quite awhile talking about glass making and brought us to a shop that seemed a bit out of the way and we had zero interest in glass. The same with respect to a mask shop. We did ask her about the significance of time masks, but we didn’t need to go out of our way to visit a shop. She talked many many times about the additions to the tops of buildings but it was quite repetitive. The trip seemed to lack historical facts that you usually get on tours like these. I would not recommend this tour.

The description says $65 per adult but when I go to book it, the price goes up to $331. What is the price?

We are interested in a private tour for a family of 4, with two 18-year olds.
1. If we book a private tour on a Sunday, is the Rialto Market or any markets open?
2. Can we request one of the guides that is highly recommended in the reviews?
3. Do you have an email address? How do we let you in advance of our specific interests, such as architecture or photography or bridges?
Thank you.
