          Breathtaking!
The One day private tour: The hidden Dolomites was fantastic, and tailored to our interests. Our guide/driver, Klaus, a lifelong resident of the Dolomites, shared so much about his home mountains, while he drove us from one breathtaking venue to the next. The Dolomites are incredible and Klaus did an amazing job sharing them with us. We had lunch at the top of the Pordoi cable car, while enjoying unbelievable views. Klaus suggested that we stop in at the WWI museum at the bottom of the cable car, and we were so glad we did. We learned a lot. We could not have had a better introduction to these unique mountains. We hope to be back in the winter to ski on some of the beautiful slopes we saw covered with wild flowers in July.

          Excellent!
The Private Tour The ultimate South Tyrol wine & food experience was fantastic, and tailored to our interests. Our guide, Luciano, not only took us to two lovely vineyards for wine tastings, but he also shared so much information about the history and culture of South Tyrol. Luciano is a lifelong citizen of Bolzano and he painted a vibrant picture of his home region for us. It was a perfect day of good food, good wine, and good conversation!

          Beautiful views despite the weather
We really enjoyed this tour. Be aware that on a rainy and cloudy day, the Dolomites are very hard to see. It was almost a white out on the day we went. That said, we did see some beautiful views and spotted glimpses of the Dolomites as we drove. We sadly did not get to enjoy the cable cars due to the fog obstructing our views. Unfortunately, you can't control the weather though, and we made the best of it! All in all, we'd do this tour again...hopefully on a not so rainy day next time.

          Best experience ever!
Fantastic! Easy-going. Flexible. Our driver was kind, happy, patient and approachable. He knows all the best places and can get you there all while accommodating family and our fur baby. My children had an unforgettable experience, and we will be calling back for our next trip soon.

Amazing tour of the beauty of Bolzano.
What a wonderful tour. Stefan is an amazing wealth of knowledge about the environment, history, geography and horticulture of the area. Walter was a great driver on the wet winding roads. This was our first visit to Bolzano . The overwhelming beauty and the warmth and knowledge of Stefan made for a special day.

Finding experiences that make lasting memories
There are thousands of tour guides throughout Italy, yet there are only a select few who take the time to find opportunities to make each day’s experience unique and authentic — one that will stay you with for a long time. For those wanting the abridged version - I will tell you that Matteo is an excellent guide, his English is great, he knows the area, his price point is excellent and he is reliable. He gives more than promises and he can create the experience you want. Your experience will be one for the books so book him!! The unabridged version - My friend and I were doing our annual Christmas market tour (which we always plan on our own) and this year, we decided on the Sud Tirol area. Once we arrived and were able to get more specific information on the various towns and markets, and on the public transportation available, we decided to look into day excursions and we found Matteo at Concierge Dolomites. What a find! We booked one day that would take us to Innsbruck, Bressanone and Vipiteno. And we also discussed a trip that would take us to a few smaller markets and a drop off at our next stop in St. Ulrich in the Dolomites. We were picked up at our hotel at the appointed time and after picking up another pit of guests, our comfortable Mercedes Van was ready to go. 2 Americans (me with spotty Italian) and 5 Italians - (no English) from Florence, Milano and Sicily) -and Matteo. We were off to a perfect day! The drive up to Innsbruck was beautiful and Matteo kept a lively discussion going with translation when needed. After a few hours in Innsbruck, we reconvened and Matteo asked the group if we wanted to eat at the markets or we could go to a farmers house - real farm to table for a lovely lunch. Of course everyone said lunch at the farmer’s house and we set out on another beautiful drive through the mountains, the vistas were incredible and to say the lunch was nothing sort of spectacular would be an understatement! The charcuterie, cheeses, wines, breads, were all sourced from the farmer! Each dish would have made Anthony Bourdain swoon - yes, swoon! Throughout the lunch the conversation between this small group of strangers transformed us into a group a friends - we shared photos of our own food creations, families and travel experiences. And after that amazing experience, Matteo outdid himself, with an amazing opportunity to see the Krampus parade. And a stop in Bressanone. The next day Matteo put together a day tour that included the smaller markets we wanted to see and a drop off in St. Ulrich along with a few surprises that just make the day! He invited the group we had spent the day with an several joined in, making the trip less expensive and more fun. First stop, up into the mountains and snow, a stop at Lago di Carezza where although the markets had not yet opened, was truely magical - like the inspiration for the set of Frozen. We parked and walked through this tunnel only to find...a snow globe! Framed by craggy mountain tops sliding into a snow sea of ice crystals, the likes of which I have never seen (and I am skier, so I have seen lots of snow), with iced over trees and nativity scene. That was just the beginning, he took us to the most magnificent lookouts (took my best photos of the day). Had we taken public transportation, we never would stopped there. From there two more small town markets featuring the handmade items of locals only, and finally our drop off in St. Ulrich, just in time for the evening festivities to kick off. The door to door service, saved a lot of hassle and the company could not have been better. Best of all, Matteo told us about the summer bike trips he can coordinate though the mountains, on a flat path, next to the river, from town to town, we’re in! An amazing two days of everything that makes travel so special - Matteo is well travelled himself - been in the industry for years and know what people want and how to deliver. He was also great at being there, and letting you discover on your own too. Great job Matteo and thanks!

          WONDERFUL all-day Dolomites tour!
My husband and I did an 8-hour driving tour of the Dolomites with Matteo and we had the BEST time!! He promptly picked us up at our accommodation in the morning and was very friendly and helpful the entire day. We asked probably a million questions about the history, geography, culture of the area and he was very knowledgeable in all. We enjoyed coffee and tea in the morning and then an incredible lunch at the top of the world, with a 360-degree view of the mountains. When we expressed interest in the WWI history of the area, Matteo took us through some WWI tunnels in the side of a mountain and showed us various bunkers. The mountain and lake views were unforgettable. We are so grateful to Matteo and we will most definitely use his services when we are back in the area!

The Heart of the Dolomites (Eastern Dolomites)
My husband and I toured "The Heart of the Dolomites" with our driver/guide Matteo Mizzon. The trip was an all day event. We were in and out of the van just the right amount of time during the day. We even were able to take a tram ride up to the top of one of the mountains. What a spectacular view. We were in Europe for three weeks and this tour was one of our highlights. Matteo has spent a great deal of personal and professional time in the area, so he is very knowledgeable about the Dolomites. It was a wonderful "field trip", part history, part geology, part geography and 100% enjoyable. We highly recommend this trip with Matteo.

A magnificent and glorious tour of the Dolomites
My friend and I did a private tour of the Dolomites with Concierge Dolomite from Bolzano. We started an hour later than the usual time. But our guide Matteo Mizzon managed to show us many beautiful sights ! Along the way we passed many wine regions. He highlighted welknown monastery and a convent that produced wine. We visited four lakes and the park of the tres cime view point. We enjoyed looking at Cortina d’ampezzo from a field of purple flowers covered grass. The tour continued further up passed Vasso Valparola. We stopped and walked the path as we are entering the golden hour . Matteo is very knowledgeable of the region . Despite the meandering uphill road , he is also a very consistent and patient driver . We even managed to stop for a nice lunch at a well positioned restaurant with good view and delicious food recommended by Matteo. I will not divulge the name of the place but if you take this tour you can ask him . He is an excellent guide because toward the end of this almost 8 hour tour , he still has the same enthusiasm and energy as at the start of the tour . We truly had a wonderful day and we enjoyed the breathtaking and magnificent vistas .
