We spent an incredible day with Alessandro touring the eastern Dolomites! He picked us up in the city centre close to our Airbnb in a Mercedes Benz Vito that was stocked with everything we might need - bottles of water, extra jackets, car sickness medicine. Everything we did was totally tailored to us and what we wanted out of our tour - whether we wanted to spend 5 minutes in each location or over an hour, make rest/car sickness stops, food breaks, etc., Alessandro made it happen.
We visited in November, which is the low season, so we were very fortunate to have most locations to ourselves. Alessandro knows an incredible amount of information about his Dolomites and did everything in his power to make sure we could see them from the best vantage points possible. We also felt completely safe with his expert driving as he clearly knows the roads of the mountains like the back of his hand.
I highly recommend taking this tour with Alessandro and we would absolutely take any of his other tours in the future. I’ve not come across many guides like him who cares so deeply about what he does and the experiences he provides to his clients. For me, his tour was the highlight of our trip.

Alessandro was a fantastic guide! He was very friendly and accommodating. He picked us up at our Airbnb, then led us on a very informative and thorough tour of the Dolomites. The van was very comfortable with great AC and water. He was an excellent driver on tough roads. We loved our tour and recommend him highly to anyone visiting the area. It was such a wonderful day - one we’ll remember for a long time. Highlight of our trip to Italy!

Alex was a fantastic tour guide, managing to give us a full day learning about and seeing the Eastern Dolomites. His enthusiasm for the spectacular scenery added to our enjoyment. His goal was to make sure we got everything we wanted from our time. He definitely met our expectations and more. I highly recommend this tour!!

I am happy that you were able to admire all the lakes of the eastern Dolomites in all their beauty ... Even the panorama from the Gardena Pass was simply exceptional. When the weather is so favorable it becomes easier to lead the excursion! A warm greeting.

Spectacular and comprehensive day tour. Breathtaking views from summit of Sass Pordoi and at mountain passes and lakes. Well-chosen restaurant at Cortina d'Ampezzo. Alex is an enthusiastic, considerate and informative guide.

We planned a couple of days stay in Bolzano to visit some of the beautiful lakes and villages in the Dolomites Italy with the family. For weeks I looked online for a tour guide to drive us there, finally I came across Alessandro, thank goodness we decided to go ahead and hire him because we definitely picked a winner. The first thing that was very obvious about Alessandro is the director of “www.italydolomites.com”. He knew the area especially the never ending windy roads, we felt safe with him being driving up and down those windy slops.
The itinerary plan he set up for us beforehand turned out to be the best highlight of our trip. He also took us the best areas to take some lovely photos. We highly recommend Alessandro, a 5 star tour guide, and also an excellent driver. And not to mention he was very accommodating to our needs and requests and was always enthusiastic and went above and beyond to make our visit a memorable one.

This was our second trip with Alessandro. The best things about the trip are that he is so knowledgeable about history, geography, and culture, and he has no timetable. He lets the clients customize their day according to preferences and weather conditions. If we wanted to go to the top of the mountain, we stopped and went to the top of the mountain. Alessandro is so considerate of his clients--he had jackets and umbrellas at the ready for changeable weather in the mountains. He had bottles of water and let us now that if the hairpin turns were bothering any of us, we could stop at any time. We feel like we truly experienced the Dolomites like a local would and took advantage of the beauty that the area has to offer. We'll likely be back for another trip with Alessandro. I cannot recommend his tours highly enough. They are both personalized and reasonable for the service that you get and the once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Starting with the first correspondence of tour enquiry over email, engaging with Alessandro was a pleasurable and easy experience because of his extremely organised, professional yet friendly approach
I and my wife took a customised Full day Private tour where we requested to include the Funes Valley on 31st October 2019.
From the start of the tour, we thoroughly enjoyed Alessandro's company, felt extremely comfortable and were constantly engaged with all the information he kept sharing with us all through the day (including his knowledge on many other subjects including some of the Indian traditions & cultures).
It felt like a day spent with a friend and this tour was the highlight of our Italy trip.
One of the main reasons for planning my Italy visit and especially this time of the year, was because of my passion for photography and to enjoy the beautiful fall colours and I returned extremely satisfied and happy. Alex made sure that I got what I wanted, stopping at good places to take picture and giving us all the flexibility of a self drive with the comfort of sitting back and enjoying a relaxed guided tour.
A thorough Professional with an excellent vehicle, highly knowledgeable and extremely friendly.
Hands down one of the best tours in Italy and not just best in Bolzano or Dolomites area.
If doing a tour of this region, I would recommend to blindly book this tour.

I'm writing this review late 4 months as i'v been extremely busy. But i have to say that Alex was an exceptional guide. We were 3 friends together. Alex has planned everything for us in the "Heart of Eastern Dolomites tour" and he even added for us Lago di Carezza in the itinerary upon our request, and added for us Dobbiaco lake. This is along with all the amazing scenery during the tour and all the passes we have crossed. And after that with 2 days we wanted a transportation from Cortina d'Ampezzo back to Bolzano, so he suggested we take the panoramic road. And it was a beautiful day as well, thanks to his knowledge and patience. Therefore we had an amazing full tour covering both the Eastern and Western Dolomites. Don't think twice, just go with Alex and he will manage everything.

Could not have been happier with Alessandro’s wonderful tour of the Val Gardena! Spent yesterday weaving through the Dolomites, learning about the area, the impact both world wars had on it, and the state of their area today. Alessandro (aka Alex) patiently answered my dozens of questions and was so genuine in his response that I felt we were talking with a friend! I highly recommend this tour and hope to have the opportunity to go exploring with Alessandro again in the future. Caio Alex!

Our tour guide Alessandro was excellent! He was friendly, kind, courteous, knowledgeable & an extremely skilled driver (a necessity on those steep hairpin turns).
The tour was very well designed, and we saw so much of the Dolomites which I think are the most beautiful mountains in the world and a must-see.
Alessandro thought of everything to make us comfortable to ensure we got the most out of our trip. He provided us with water to drink, ski jackets when we climbed out of the car & it was chilly on those mountain passes. His vehicle was very comfortable and had a huge panoramic sun roof which enabled us to see the massive peaks of the Dolomites even when we were in the car. Thank you Alessandro for making our tour of the Dolomites a truly unforgetable experience!
