About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 491micheleg0 contributionsAsk for Sofia! Fantastic tour!Ask for Sofia first and foremost. The tour was visually spectacular and historically significant in many ways. The palace itself is a viewer’s delight - very close up viewing of the artifacts and treasures. Great experience!Written November 10, 2024
- 611emanuell0 contributionsBest guide Alessio and best city TurinThe guide we took Alessio was amazing. He knew everything about the Savoy monarchy including all of the small details. Furthermore he know how to put the information into perspective. When we entered the palace he told us the history as if the king were waiting for us. This was crucial as there were so many rooms one needed to pass to view the king. The tour guide took his time with us and explained everything so we could understand everything. Thank you so much Alessio. Just a FYI for anybody visiting Turin: you need at least 1 week. We plan on coming back to book Alessio and visit all of the palazzos.Written September 15, 2024
- Jcgannonphoto0 contributionsGo on this tour.Fabulous walk. Alex is a great guide. He took us inside and really showed us the history and the current city. This tour is a must-do in Torino.Written September 3, 2024
- CelinaS430 contributionsExcellent Tour and ExperienceWe had such a fantastic time! We didn't know what to anticipate for the tour, but we were so happy we did this! Our guide was AMAZING--knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Her English speaking skills were strong, and she even customized the experience for us, as I had a keen interest in the Holy Shroud. So she made sure we spent a lot of time in the Chapel and even directed us to where we could see a replica and where the original is now kept. This was worth the cost, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Turin.Written August 6, 2024
- William M0 contributionsRoyal Treatment AwaitsFantastic, fun, insightful. This is a must for seeing and understanding the Savoy Dynasty, the Shroud of Turino, and even Roman life in the city! Excellent tour guide. Knowledgeable and interesting presentation.Written July 16, 2024
- LissaG70 contributionsWonderful experience , wheelchair accessible- excellent guideAbsolutely wonderful tour with Sofia - we learned so many new things that we would not have know. My son is an avid history buff and the look on his face when he learned new facts was priceless! The tour was very accommodating for my brother who was in a wheelchair. Sofia spoke excellent English and told the story and history of the Royal family beautifullyWritten June 20, 2024
- Adriana M0 contributionsMeraviglioso Torino! The brand of a strong industrial center was for us a reason to postpone a touristic visit to Torino. We were wrong: Torino is more than FIAT and Juventus. We discovered a historical chapter not only of Italy but of the whole region of Piemont and Provence. And if we add the splendid stay we had in the Principi di Piemonte hotel (we hope Djokovic will stay in the same room we got!) assisted by its very professional staff we think that anyone having experienced a visit like ours will do it again. At least, we we'll do for sure and lunch again in the Eataly restaurant in via Lagrange, enjoying the friendly and professionnal service of Mattia, a talented and ambitious guy from Puglia region. We wish him good luck to realise his plans for the future!Written November 7, 2023
- jsscelfo850 contributionsRoyal tourThe tour was excellent! Wow!! Truly an unbelievable palace! Enjoyed learning more about the Savoy royals from Marco . The chapel of the Shroud touches your soul . Great tour. Marco, our guide was very knowledgeable and fun too.Written August 6, 2023
- Peterharris320 contributionsGood tour of TurinI mostly chose to visit Turin because of the Holy Shroud and I am so happy to have gone in. I was also fortunate to have a friendly local person show me around. He even didn’t mind extending the tour a little bit to enjoy an antipasto food sampling at a local favorite restaurant. There was a very nice park with Roman ruins and statue of Julius Caesar. If touring with Lokafy or Viator, ask for Mohamed. For shopping, make sure to stroll Via Lagrange and Via Roma. Outstanding tour!Written May 12, 2023
- marilynsF2906FR0 contributionsGreat experienceExcellent tour . Our tour guide was so knowledgeable. One of the best tours I have been on . Highly recommendWritten April 26, 2023
- family520 contributionsWell Worth VisitingYou can visit the gardens without paying. To visit the inside of the palace you are required to buy a ticket. The palace is very opulent and indulgent and beautifully decorated and so much to take in. My husband found the armoury room very interesting.Written April 21, 2023
- HappyVillager210 contributionsOne of the Best Tour I've Ever TakenPatrizia provided our party with one of the very best tours I've ever taken anywhere! She was prompt and very kind. She allowed us to ask as many questions as we had and had answers for them. The best part of her presentations were how she gave us so many interesting and fun details that we would have gotten just reading the informative plaques throughout the tour. Her English was impeccable so there was nothing lost in translation. I would HIGHLY recommend not only this tour (which was very worthwhile) but I would MOST STRONGLY recommend asking for Patrizia to lead you through it!!Written May 18, 2022
- tiffdodge0 contributionsNice tourWe (two couples) went on this private tour. Marco had a great sense of humor which made learning all the history fun!Written May 16, 2022
- jrb4370 contributionsThe outstanding and the disapointingThe museum is world class; the quality of the material presented and the style of presentation are both of a high order. BUT, the guided tour is in italian language only; no effort is made to provide other languages, even in a recorded format, even English. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLEWritten September 10, 2020
- Pranay S0 contributionsSuperbI enjoyed the tour with the view of most of the beautiful place in city center and also the insight.Written February 18, 2020

Carlo was awesome to work with. We spent the morning and early afternoon seeing the main attractions of Turino. It oriented us really well for the rest of the trip, and aside from the Egyptian Museum covers the other main attractions within the city very well. I highly recommend it.
