Unfortunately, it was a very rainy day, but she made it enjoyable, nevertheless. The experience of Leonardo da Vinci‘s last supper is not to be missed. We had hoped to see more. “ hidden gems” as the tour advertises, but it was great fun anyway!Written September 9, 2024
- RobertB667D0 contributionsWonderful (if pricy) experienceOverall I would say the tour was well worth it. We got to see an extremely historic painting (the Last Supper), and our guide gave us interesting insight into the painting itself and a number of other sites on the way to the Duomo. I particularly appreciated our tour guide (Laura)'s personal takes on various things - from a small car show that we happened to pass, to colour commentary on Da Vinci. I only rate it 4 instead of 5 because it seems to me that the price (about 100 Euros per person) for a 3 hour tour with about 20 participants seems a bit steep to me, given the relatively low cost to the tour operator of the only thing they had to pay for (entry to the Da Vinci Last Supper). It seems that the limited number of tickets to that place are snapped up primarily by various tour operators well in advance (apparently you basically have to be ready to book 3 months in advance the moment the tickets open up to have any chance of buying a ticket personally). So I don't blame this particular tour operator, as their prices seemed reasonable from what I could tell compared to others.Written August 9, 2024

- chrishM2559KT0 contributionsDeep Dive into Milan history facts and legends with amazing ElisaElisa has been an outstanding guide! In a 3 hour tour she guided us to the most relevant historic sites in Milan historic center - to the obvious known ones but also to the hidden gems you typically do not know about. Places that tell about legends and myths - be it religious, spiritual or policital and royal about the emperor families and conquerors - or be it from culture and modern arts in public places. Elisa shared her most comprehensive knowledge about history in general and history of art, very happily with us. No question she couldn't have answered in every detail you would have wished. Amazing! At the same time, she is very well experienced in tailoring the volume of facts, information and knowledge to an extend that it never became overwhelming. Throughout the entire three hours with her it was easy, fun and light to listen to her. As a person, Elisa has been very pleasant to be with, fresh and super friendly. She remembered that we had not been able to get tickets for the Last Supper and called us when she received two cancellations with another group. Really nice gesture! The tour was the very first activity we undertook. Afterwards, we walked through Milan with so much more knowedge and awareness - thanks to Elisa. We would definitely consider returning to Milan area - only to book her again for a private tour :)Written May 27, 2024

Our guide Maurizio was absolutely excellent. Really helpful, nice and most of all extremely knowledgeable. While this tour was also the only way we could get tickets as the regular website was totally sold out, I would recommend paying the extra for the guide as it massively enhances the experience - particularly if you're not massive knowledgeable about fine art.

We made a few mistakes at the venue (losing a ticket, too many bags) but the ticket staff helped us and the tour guide was very patient. The friendly security staff gVe use smiles and made the process easier or us. Elisa led the evening tour with enthusiasm and energy which made the viewing even more special. I am thrilled to have seen The Last Supper with the expertise of the tour guide making the experience extra special.

Our guide was on time and worked quickly to organize all of the tour participants. Her commentary on the tour was excellent. She clearly had a passion for sharing details about the painting and presented multiple viewpoints about the subject. Well done!

Amazing to see the art work, the headphones & sound to hear the guide was extremely poor. We were really interested in hearing from the guide who appeared very knowledgeable, but the sound quality was poor often hearing other groups. We paid for a guided tour in english, unfortunately we left early due to the inability to hear consistently our guide.

good evening, we are very sorry for this negative review which was not due to our work nor to our guided tour service. We have already taken action with the radio rental company to inform them of this malfunction and to ensure better control of channel tuning in the future.
In any case, you should have immediately notified the guide of this problem so as to be able to resolve it promptly. It seems highly useless and unfair to inform us of these problems many days after the experience and when we can no longer intervene and it would instead be appropriate to communicate when these problems occur directly with the guide in order to resolve them in time.

The last supper museum is the biggest scam in Milan. The entrance ticket is euro15 per adult but they are fully booked months ahead by travel agent and guide then resold at more than euro100 per adult. How do you like that? Scam

Dear customer,
We are sorry that your experience was not positive. What we wanted to say is that you are referring to the Cenacolo museum while we are tour providers. So you are talking about a service not provided directly by us and for which we have no responsibility. Maybe you are wrong but we do not sell tickets, we sell tours that also include a visit to the museum. We also provide a professional tour guide. What I wonder is if you needed the tickets why did you booked a tour with us?

We took this tour because tickets for the day we wanted were sold out, but we were SO VERY GLAD we did. Our guide, Elisa, was very good indeed. She explained the history and architecture of the monastery in just the right amount of detail, and timed our arrival at the entrance for seeing the last supper perfectly. Her commentary on the details of the fresco was very moving, I don't think I've ever heard a guide explain a painting so well.

My girlfriend and I chose to do the short 1 hour tour. For us it was the perfect length of time and we learned an amazing amount about Leonardo Da Vinci, the Last Supper painting and fun facts surrounding both. Katerina was an amazing tour guide, and one of the most clear and well spoken tour guides I’ve had across various holidays. She succinctly and excellently explained all the important details and historical facts anyone would want to know visiting. Overall, an amazing tour and Katerina was an amazing guide who I’d highly recommend to any other English speakers visiting.

Eliza was a pleasant and cheerful guide. She helped to boost the spirit of the group and gave detailed information on the history of the building and architecture. Would prefer that she give more information on the last supper painting before we actually see it, so that we can better appreciate when we actually see it.

The instructions for this tour were wonderful! Maurizio was our guide and he knows his Leonardo! He told us exactly how the tour will happen. He took the group and explained every detail, including Leonardo Da Vinci's style, and compared it with Michelangelo's style. He even explained to us how to look at the Last Supper painting to get the most out of it. We had 15 minutes in the room and he spent the entire time explaining every detail of the painting. It was great to hear his detailed explanation while looking at the painting. We also got a chance to go to the nearby church, which put the last supper. The best part was at the end, Maurizio explained details of Leonardo's life in such a way that you can visualize what was happening during that time!
