About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- debbiegW1019VC0 contributionsWonderful Walking TourI am at a loss of words to describe The Last Supper. Beautiful and moving...Our guide was amazing! She took us on a couple of side streets that were delightful! She gave us lots of facts and extra stories.Written December 3, 2024
- pierret6360 contributionsOne afternoon in MilanThis tour did not actually include the visit of the Duomo, as advertised. We only entered the room where the Last Supper is. We did not even enter the church next to it, although it was for free. On top of it, we had to walk long distance in the cold. We also went inside the courtyard of the Sforza castle but did not go inside either. To charge 100 $ for just one visit is way too much.Written November 30, 2024
- mattasch680 contributionsKnowledgeable guide. Well worth itIt was helpful to have a knowledgeable and personable guide. I’d highly recommend this tour. There were issues with the technology at the beginning so allow yourself more time. Bring an ID for each person.Written November 29, 2024
- SHAMILANI H0 contributionsA day well spent! To visit Lake Como and Lugano was on my Bucket list for the longest time and I got to experince the best of both worlds on this tour! Even though this was a long tour, the time flew by. The transportaion was comfortable and of course the views were amazing. Our guide was very informative too, overall a great day with loads of great memories!Written November 26, 2024
- Diesel3141590 contributionsA good Milan samplerWe had a lovely walk through the Cenocolo and through Milan on a very crowded Saturday. The weather was awesome and the guide did an excellent job making sure our group of almost 30 at one point stayed together.Written November 24, 2024
- Carmen T0 contributionsPerfect tour of Milano and excellent, well prepared, and knowledgeable guide! This tour was absolutely perfect!!! Our guide had expert knowledge of the art, history, and culture of the beautiful city of Milano. The Last Supper was amazing to see and the tour around the city was just wonderful. The audio devices worked great, and we loved that our guide carried an ipad with so many pictures to help with her explanations of history and landmarks. We would recommend this tour to anyone and would give it 6 stars if we could! Thank you!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We will never forget the stunning beauty that is Leonardo Da’Vinci’s Last Supper!Written November 24, 2024

- DanF8050 contributionsA must see in MilanSylva, our guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable and engaging. Not scripted (which is great). Able to handle interruptions (late arrivals, ticketing issues) with elegance. The painting itself and the refectory are to be experienced slowly (the 15 minutes is enough if you are focused) to understand the masterpiece. It’s a miracle that the painting as well as the Crucifixion painting were not significantly damaged even though the entire roof and two other walls were destroyed by bombing raids during WW2.Written November 17, 2024
- Laurie_loves_gators0 contributionsFantastic tour - book aheadFantastic tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. It’s a lot of walking, but it was a gorgeous day and nice to be outside. We highly recommend this tour. We booked the tour 2+ months in advance, and most days were sold out. Don’t wait.Written November 11, 2024
- Kathy K0 contributionsWonderful "last supper" and walking tourOur guide, Kiara (spelling), was wonderful. Made the experience so much better than buying just a ticket to the last supper.Written November 9, 2024
- 1540Elizabeth0 contributionsEnjoy the art, architecture, and history of this amazing cityThis was a last special treat on a trip full of wonders. Following a river cruise on the Rhine with extended family, my sister and I took a train across the Alps and enjoyed a few extra days in Italy before heading home, On our very last day, in early October 2024, we took this tour. We booked it because it was the only way we could get in to view The Last Supper, but we are so glad we did--the guide was very pleasant and supremely well-informed, and besides "Il Cenacolo" she took us through the Sforza Castle, the Galeria, and other sights in this amazing city. She really made the historic past of Milan's city center come alive for us, no mean feat as much of the time we were dealing with pouring rain (we were glad we'd packed umbrellas). Someone once said, "for every church in Rome there's a bank in Milan." That "shoe" certainly fits, even if it's not made by Manolo Blahnik!Written November 7, 2024

- 245laurend0 contributionsStunning views throughoutExcellent visit to the cathedral. We got there earlier than our allocated time but that didn't matter as the view from the ground itself is stunning. We were able to get up the stairs around 30 minutes before our allocated slot. Going up and down the steps was tough with dodgy joints, and not always easy without a handrail! But once at the top, the views were glorious! Plenty of opportunities to take photos and although crowded at times, still allowed for plenty of space. Inside the cathedral is just as beautiful, whilst many people were inside, the silence was powerful and the experience very thought provoking.Written November 3, 2024
- F2978RNclarem0 contributionsNot worth $150+The guide was nice but the overall quality of the tour does not justify the price. It also ended over 1.5 hours early and I think it’s irresponsible to advertise a tour as 6 hours if it will deviate with no warning because people need to be able to plan the rest of their day accordingly. It was fine, but there’s probably lots of similar tours that would be a better and cheaper experience.Written November 3, 2024

I had Giada as my guide. She was excellent. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. She is trilingual and was able to easily answer the questions others had in their native languages. The tour took more than 2 hours and even though she knew we were going over she did not rush to finish. She even provided food recommendations for those who asked.

Pros: The tour guide was well spoken and pointed out many interesting facts about the 3 places we were shown. The amplifying headsets were a lifesaver, without them we would not have heard her.
Cons: The tour was advertised as "all admissions included" but only the admission to the Davinci mural was included, making this very pricey for what you received. The Sforza castle had some paid exhibits, but they were not included. We were given a tour of the grounds, which was free to all. And the San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore had no admission charge. Furthermore, the group was 30, not small at all. This is because admission to the Last Supper room is limited to 30 people, and only for 15 minutes. They let in 30, count 15 minutes, and let out 30. The guide had a hard time keeping track of participants between attractions - if the group had been small, this would not have been a problem. And there was no line to skip. Everyone had timed tickets.

My partner and I enjoyed this tour so much - I absolutely recommend booking a guided tour to see "The Last Supper" and then have a nice stroll around streets of Milan, you will see something very special and unique, guided by a well-informed guide!
Absolutely recommended!!!
P.S. We also had a Rooftops of Duomo tour which was equally good!

We just wanted to see the Last Supper and looked up numerous Milan tour operators on Trip Advisor. We settled on New Age since there were no other tickets available for visits during our stay. On this particular itinerary was the Last Supper, Castello Sforzesco, Galleria Umberto & Duomo (entrance not included). We paid EURO 61 per person for the tour which was a bit steep for my liking but, again, we didn’t really have any other options. The tickets for the Last Supper alone are EURO 12 each so I guess you could say it’s good value to get a guided tour of this fantastic monument and a few others as well for an additional 49 EURO.
We met the people from New Age in the piazza in front of Santa Maria delle Grazie. Our tour was set for 2.15p which gave us ample time to check audio and wait for stragglers (our entrance ticket to the Last Supper was for 2.30p). Organization was good. There was someone present from New Age who confirmed tour participants and handed us off to our guide.
There were about 12-15 ppl on our tour which was manageable in size - I suspect during peak times, the tour would get up to 20 ppl. Our guide Alessandra was a little quirky but very well informed and had a good nature about her. She did a very good job engaging our 8 and 11 year olds so they got the most out of the tour.
Would recommend New Age for anyone visiting Milan...and give yourself ample time to book a Last Supper tour!

No you can’t just stroll up and ask to see the Last Supper. If you are planning your September trip to Rome in August, you probably won’t be able buy tickets in advance either. So the way you get in is by signing on to a tour like this one. Fortunately, we had a great experience. Our guide, whose name I have unfortunately forgotten, was terrific, sharing insights about the painting and the history and art in some surrounding churches. He also pointed out some other sights to see that we went back to the next day. Worth every euro.

Our guide, Davida, was informative and thorough. The tour is so much more useful than visiting The Last Supper on your own unless you are an art history scholar, as there are many documented details to learn about this piece and Leonardo and his colleagues. Be prepared for a lot of walking for the Renaissance tour, which includes historical sites and more Renaissance frescos.
