We had a great tour with Paola! She was very knowledgeable about the fashion industry and different designers. She talked about the history of design in Milan, showed us some of the iconic stores, and took us to an atelier so we could see the process from start to finish. She also shared some shopping tips and overall provided a lot of great information!

Amazing experience! After asking us what we were interested in seeing and us putting ourselves in her expert hands instead, Paula brought us to the top fashion brands stores where she had close connections. We learned about the history of fashion as well as its current trends and what fashions appeal to what consumers. We appreciated her experience! Our 18 year old in particular enjoyed discussing fashion with her. We saw brands you see in the US as well as many we hadn't heard of. Our favorite designer on the tour was Andrea Ferretti. We had extended the tour to include a visit to an Atelier which was the highlight for our daughter. She learned how to sew and how to make a rose out of ribbon and we saw a master tailor making a custom jacket for a football coach! 10 out of 10!

This was for my college daughter who just recently graduated with a degree in Fashion Design. The experience was absolutely amazing….Rebecca took us around and gave us the history of some of the most iconic families in the fashion world, told us about the Fashion business in general and how it has evolved in Milan. We ended by going to a Italian atelier and my daughter was able to work with the designer to create a jacket for her that the designer had started. She gave her lessons on how to finish it and sent her on her way with fabric pieces to even make a patchwork bag later. Rebecca interrupted things along the way and was so incredibly nice, engaging and full of knowledge and history. By far the most enjoyable thing we have done in Milan so far

My wife and daughter had the pleasure of taking a tour with Paola around the fashion district. Paola has been working in the industry for many years and is very knowledgable about the history and designs of many of the brands we walked past. She also gave many recommendations for shopping in different areas across Milan. We would definitely recommend a tour with Paola to get to know Milan fashion!

What a rip off. We met our nice and friendly guide who walked us down the fashion street and pointed out various shops for an hour Unlike other reviews we had no discussion of discounts or special places to buy We then were taken to a “workshop” where Fiorella show us her pre made clothes and shoes and bags from her friend . She briefly discussed pattern making , the various fabrics and techniques . The vast majority of the time was Fiorella encouraging us to try on and buy her clothes or her friends shoes and bags. There was no evidence of work in progress or this being an active “workshop”. More a personal tailor . Total time 2.15 hours. Total cost for 3 of us €380

Was an amazing tour! We went with Paola which is an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and attentive. The tour was very interesting and we enjoyed the workshop with Fiorella so much! Would 100% say not to miss it. The only thing I would recommend is to book the full fashion tour + workshop separately so you can enjoy both with no time pressure. Definitely don't chose one over the other because they both are so important for fashion lovers and aspiring fashion designers, I learned so much!

Our tour guide Antonella was a wealth of information about Milan’s fashion district from the main designers to up and coming designers as well as a background to the history and development of Milan’s fashion industry. We particularly enjoyed visiting the workshops/laboratories of some of the fashion industry including men’s custom made tailors as well as leather and hat manufacturers (included on the extended tour I believe). Antonella was also able to provide some good tips on where to shop at all ends of the scale. Thanks!

Had a fun and enlightening tour of the district and learned about the pride and care of Italian designers such as Armani, Versace and many big and boutique shops. My niece and I had great time.

Paola was our guide. She is passionate knowledgeable and generous with her time and experience in the fashion industry. My wife and I developed a new perspective and awareness of the operation of high end fashion. We were introduced to designers during our tour through the Quadrlatero area. Fashion is iconic in Milan and this tour immerses you in haute couture. I wouldn’t have wanted to miss this tour when seeing Milan.

Great tour! Paola was a wonderful, knowledgable guide who really took time to give our 10yo daughter a thorough understanding of the fashion industry and Made in Italy importance. The only thing we’d suggest to future tour participants is that you have a communication ahead of time with the tour operator about your specific expectations. Had Paola known our specific needs aged of time she could have provided and even more focused tour for us. Overall a great experience and we appreciate Paola’s willingness to make sure we were happy and informed!
