Overview
Discover highlights of northern Italy’s cultural and financial capital with a 3-hour walking tour of Milan. Experience the city’s must-see attractions, including the Sforza Castle, the La Scala opera house, Piazza dei Mercanti and Milan’s majestic cathedral — one of the largest in the world. Enjoy skip-the-line entry into the UNESCO-listed Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, home to Leonardo da Vinci’s famous ‘The Last Supper’ painting.
What to Expect

After meeting in the morning or afternoon, an English-speaking licensed tour guide will lead you to discover Milan and its interesting and famous attractions, such as well-known masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci, and the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. This important mural of Renaissance art is so delicate that its access is strictly limited to a small amount of visitors for just 15-minutes.

Another must-see attraction of the city is the Sforza Castle, a fortress that was both used as a military base and a residence of the Dukes of Milan that brought the Renaissance in the Dukedom of Milan. Today it houses various civic museums.

The tour will continue to Piazza dei Mercanti, and you'll get to admire the medieval heart of the city, hidden away from the crowded streets. The Scala Theatre, built in 1776 and located in Piazza della Scala, is not only a monument, but a true temple of Music and Italian History and Culture.

You will also enter the majestic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a treasure of nineteenth century engineering, more than a building, it's a real symbol of Italian excellence. And, last but not least, you’ll reach the Duomo, the third biggest Cathedral in Europe, visited every year by more than 5-million tourists.

No. The only entrance ticket included is for the Last Supper. This is a walking tour of all the highlights. There isn’t time to go inside the attractions. We went back and did the Duomo the next day.

I would contact the tour operator. Their number should be on the voucher. Some people only book the Last Supper so that would make sense to meet at the church. For the walking tour and skip the line Last Supper, we met in... More
